Everyone else takes the blind down - so annoying and time wasting - you on the other hand have offered me the best possible workaround - Well done! I need to replace corroded blind chains and not only that replace with longer chains than originally installed.
Thank you for such clear instructions.

Hi I have cracked/creased blinds, it looks exactly like the blinds in your video. Are you able to show us how to repair it if it’s a possible repair? I’m in rental and I’m afraid my landlord is going to claim my bond to repair. Thank you

Super helpful! My chain broke in my apartment and I was really worried because all videos were talking about removing the whole thing to replace the chain which would be very hard to do alone, but your fix has worked wonderfully!

Thank you for that, I broke mine. If I may say, the sound is a tad screeching due to the flat/house being unfurnished; and perhaps, doors & windows being closed. I would suggest you listen/watch your helpful (future) videos to correct any problems. Thank you ol' chap :)

Crappy comment. He's trying to help people and by having good quality audio, he'll do so more effectively. It's cheap for a good lav mic and it'd likely result in more user retention and favourable analytics. Probably a great idea.
      Oh and great video BTW!

He has invested in a mic - proof of that is, you can hear him. What he needs is better placement of his mic to reduce capture of the echo in the space in which he is demonstrating the repair.

Enquiry - is there a video clip in your library that provides guidance on how to repair a crack/s in the painted render on a solid brick wall (laundry/bath room) and whether Bunnings sell the required materials and tools - most videos refer to repairs on dry wall plaster.

Last thing I would do is remove the chain from the sidewinder. With both ends available, using the correct tool, just join the two ends together.
Ball Chain pliers are not cheap, but when you now how to use them make this repair easy and you do not need to reset any stops.
