Your stuff is free and fun thanks for sharing; can't get over the boldness and information of your brush strokes; the tonal studies were a place to freeze the screen and take them in >interior of the room especially so

Painting on both sides doesn't bother me because after the painting is dry, I tend to store my sketchbook under a heavy book for flat pages

Do you use gouache during plein air paintings?

No, I do not use gouache when sketching outdoors. I want pen lines to be visible so I avoid all opaque paint. For white highlights, I use a pen or pencil.
