@@laffy7204 Dang you’re of the two ppl on earth who actually plays that character that’s CRAZY. Now I’m REALLY curious on your opinions, how do you feel about the game?
@@KillaTheKrashout Extremely fun. I just wish I can stay grounded more and challenge drive-rush easier, taking my turn back, check aerial approaches better, etc. Instead, I have to float a lot to keep up. Dhalsim feels more glass than cannon, ngl
@@laffy7204 nah you’re right, I actually agree since in my experience as Kim, against the few Dhalsim players that I did fight, the minute I got in on him he was toast and it was like he couldn’t really do a lot. The float is definitely his strongest tool since its kinda hard to challenge him when he does it. Funnily enough I do enjoy fighting Dhalsim because he’s not a scrubby character so if I lose I know the person actually knows their stuff and they aren’t carried by their character. His game plan actually requires me to change things up and not rely on Drive Rush too much which is a good thing that makes me improve as a player and I like stuff like that. Shame there’s very little of him in ranked (at least in my experience) maybe there’s more of him in higher MR numbers.
My issue with drive impact isn’t that it isn’t reactable, because it is, my issue is that the lower tier characters have so few normals that can be cancelled into it so they’re incapable of doing counter-DIing. The fact that DI is almost guarenteed to hit a zangief for throwing out a standing mp shows why he’s so bad.
it's a meterless pressure tool. if you time it meaty enough or play around it you rarely have to worry about DI because you recover fast enough to DI back unless youre letting the TC rip on block.
The reason you climbed to master so fast is because you play Kimberly, even if she’s not the best character she’s perfect for climbing because she can just full screen random you until death. Characters in fighting games don’t have invincible reversals for archetype reasons, grapplers don’t usually have DP or crazy combos because of the reward they get for grabs and how big their normals tend to be. Kimberly doesn’t have DP because of her belligerent play style, they figured her randomness would balance out not having a DP. Not to mention the can minigames in the corner.
As someone who plays Kimberly a lot, if she had a reversal like Cammy/Ken/Guile/ etc. she’d be kinda busted, she already very good at getting past projectiles as well as her mixups on knockdown. Let me tell you, if I’m going against someone without a reversal, I will sprint slide, sprint straight overhead, sprint overhead, sprint slide. And just mix them until they block it or realize that parry is a thing
Dang thats crazy I don't know HOW you could do that considering how much of a SNOOZEFEST the game is, but mad props to you for managing that, have a cookie bro
@@PUSHAPABLO I think drive rush is fine, its drive impact that is the problem. You have to know how to use drive rush, which is why scrubby players dont use it. I am fine with games having accessibility to let less dedicated players have a chance to steal a round or a win or 2, but drive impact legitimately allows you to get bodied by lesser players for simply pushing one button. “Get good”, is what many might say. Sure, ut why do I have to get good and my opponents dont? DI puts the burden all on the receiving player, in order to deal with it. 😂
@@sagearmaggedon7307 no the drive system is janky and with bad input reading sometimes I press the trigger on cancelable moves but it don't come out on top of that people use it as crutch when all else fails on defense, even when I DI back most of the games end In rage quit because my opponent didn't expect me to catch on to his/her cheesy method to winning which is a very low skill bar for "platinum and diamond" idk but it needs a nerf for some of the because why do Kimberly, dee jay,and ken get a full screen drive rush while honda and zangief go a qtr foot in foward. To me it's all fine but very noob friendly
I have old man reflexes and play a character that I’m convinced DI was created to counter (sim) but I still actually like the mechanic. It forces me not to autopilot and personally I like that. I even like the throw loops. There are so many options which makes the game pretty dynamic. Maybe I just like the abuse & challenge. Also the master comment is just not thought out. 3% of the player base is masters…. Need I say more… the “average” player is more likely around high gold/low plat… sorry my man, that’s how statistics work. All that being said, I like your humor even I think disagreed with everything you said.
All I need them to do, to make drive impact tolerable…. Is to GET RID OF THE FREAKING DOUBLE TAP ARMOR. Why do you have to hit them three times to disable it? If you are trying to play neutral, rip if you dont have good reflexes.
@@kye4216 Some of us have trouble reacting to DI. An alternative would be welcome. Luckily I play Chun lee so I can option select it with lightning legs lighting legs.
@@kennard3106 luckily I dont use DI. I cant tell you, but I just cannot react to it, even with practice. I can break throws in tekken, can whiff punish an opponent’s limb when whiffing crouching strong, but I cant stop drive Impact. Life is full of mysteries
What happened to just fighting in fighting games. Now its just spamming drive inpact with little to no penalty. Or catering to casual players and giving them a handicap to make them gods. Plus why isnt there a mode to vs against same button scheme, sad
Haha I remember that focus crap 😂 Half from actual SF4 and half from people using it in Smash. I can admit it was ALSO pretty annoying too, I honestly can’t pick which I hate more so I’ll settle for me hating them equally
As for my opinion I went to EVO for this shit. And winning my matches just straight up did not feel earned most of the time. It’s like I was winning because they didn’t know what to do rather than because I outplayed them
@@JayDayKay I SWEAR that’s how it feels in a lot of the matches playing this game in general. Like when I win I can tell the person I beat just wasn’t really that good or just kinda relied on a specific game plan and never switching it up (even in Masters). But thanks for watching!
I think something like 3% or less are masters. So no way you should be masters if you are average. Average would be like Gold 1 or something. But yeah Juris (and DJs) Drive rush is annoying...and Drive Impact in the corner sucks...there are already unique pressure options in the corner, Drive Impact just makes the hole outcome more random IMO. But there is I think a lot of criticism in that direction, so we will see what the next patch brings.
@@alexmaganda5827 I do think he’s right because I did hear a couple high level players say that, but it definitely doesn’t feel or seem that way , considering how little I actually knew about frame data and matchups I thought climbing would be much harder. Like you I also climbed to Master on this game in a week or so (and that’s really only because I have a job too. If I played all day every single day it woulda been even shorter probably). The MR system for Master Rank is OK though I guess since that is a bit more of a grind.
@@alexmaganda5827Anyone saying masters is easy is delusional. Imagine being the top 3% in the world and saying GG EZ Git gud...Step off the pedestal for a sec lol. Glad you had an easy ride. Everyone clearly ain't you
Street Fighter 6 is garbage because: 1. Capcom ID and the annoying QR codes that no Capcom fan (Including me) asked for. 2. You cannot play as your created fighters online in ranked and non-ranked online matches and you cannot play as your created fighters in offline matches against the CPU, local offline players and local tournament players. 3. The World Tour mode is trash because you are basically leveling up your created fighters for absolutely nothing. And 4. To play online on SF6, you have to create a Capcom ID account and that doesn't make any sense.
It is sad to see fighting games losing their identity and becoming casual games just to attract lazy casuals. A few days ago i played gran blue FVR and it is ridiculous, complete beginners doing 30hit combos 😂, braindead inputs, the game barely has moves. Oh but every streamer is shilling for this kind of game, why? Because the more lazy scrubs join the game the more views and revenue they get because more people will find their channel. That's why they will never, never in a million years criticize the fact (and it is a fact) that fighting games are being dumbed down. The fact that the majority will insult those criticizing modern fighting games doesn't mean that the critics are wrong, it just means that their plan is working, and that is to fill the games with a majority of lazy casuals. That's your majority right there.
about drive impact, if you're playing jamie, his neutral HP at close distance breaks it, and also lp+lk+mp at drink lvl1. Jamie is a counter to drive impact if he is pressuring you. Every other move also can be canceled into drive impact, so if you hit someone doing drive impact, you can give it back easily.
Yeah I noticed Jamie can deal with Drive Impact really well and some of Marisa’s special moves are pretty good at it too. I give Jamie players a bit of credit cuz even though he’s pretty good he’s also not that easy to play (at a high level) especially compared to characters like Ken or Luke.
@@El_Ace Yeahh I labbed it against him, if you time it right then you can still armor through it but I think a little bit of it needs to whiff or maybe you can block some and then Drive Impact but there’s a slight chance the Jamie will have time to react
Yeah I’m not even gonna lie I was kinda being NICE in this video in some parts lol. I even sorta complemented Drive Rush, but after playing in Masters for a while now, I got NOTHING nice to say about Drive Rush anymore, it is in fact SCRUB-PORN as you said. Imma make another video soon talking about it.
You’re just delusional. What does a balanced game look like to you? It’s not realistic to expect every single character to all be equal, but SF6 has like 15 characters viable at the highest level. You can’t ask much better than that.
@@kye4216 I'll say that for the most part yes this game is balanced pretty well. I was only arguing certain aspects of it, like DRIVE RUSH, are unbalanced, and make the game annoying to play. Certain characters have a broken one, others have a slow and shitty one. In my opinion if it's a base mechanic that every character has, then ALL of them should function exactly the same. Make it the same speed for everyone, I don't mind if the frame advantage you get off of it is different for every character, but there is no reason why Dee Jay and Juri get to ZOOM across the screen while other characters don't. That's it, don't call me delusional for wanting mechanics to work fairly.
Lol yeah LTG is hilarious, and yeah you’re right about Kim. I even considered climbing to Masters with more characters too, but the ones I was interested in also happen to be BETTER characters than Kimberly which would only make my issue with ranked even worse considering I think Ken is easy to play, I think Luke is easy to play, i labbed against Juri so much to the point I made an entire segment of the video dedicated to her and just like with Kim I got Diamond day one I started doing ranked with her, and same with Cammy. The only characters I might have a hard time climbing with that also interested me would be Jamie and Lily, but I’m already at the point where this game annoys me more than it being fun, (maybe Akuma will be hype enough to get me interested though).
Im not sure if you mean the one at the very beginning or the one that plays after that so: The very first song is Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Deku Tree Song. The one that plays after that is: Wii Shop Channel Music
Bro i agree with most of your opinions, i'll admit initially i hated DI but eventually i warmed up to it mainly bcz it usually gave me a free opening whenever ppl try to be cute with it for wall splat seeing as i'm always looking for it now it, plus it helped be be more patient in neutral overall. Also i don't care about a character archtype but every character should have an invincible, if you look at the top tiers it's always the one thing all of them have in there kit why do other characters have to eat pressure w/o a get out of jail card and this is coming from someone who always gravitate to characters that never have one since sf5 era maining nash and vega to marisa and manon in sf6 😅
As a manon main who grinded up from iron to plat 2 in bout like 3 weeks (of course i play lots of other games nd do other things in life) i would like to say its actually not easy to get master lmfao
Ah nah, the reason you’re struggling is because Manon is actually kinda hard to play somewhat. If you aren’t able to land your grabs and get the medals then winning with her is tough. Not to mention she’s one of the characters who doesn’t have a reversal so she can get steamrolled really easily. But just like what I said about Zangief players, I respect you for playing a character that’s pretty hard to climb with
Lot of this is definitely valid imo with how much I hear about it from others that either have gripes or stopped playing SF6. And that's ok cuz not every fighting game, even the most popular one is for everyone. SF6, regarding how it goes playing against others, requires so much mental energy to deal with certain things that some will have better than others (possibly while having worse tools than others as well).I definitely feel this from going to Ken to either Manon or Jamie, who I just have fun in general with even if they aren't as high up there like Ken lol. I do want to add with rank, even with the grind to getting into masters being more streamlined and easier to get into masters due to how the LP stuff works, the Master League grind is definitely where the grind begins since that does actually reward consistency with having a good win rate to climb. If you aren't as fundamentally sound and lacking in areas, it'll definitely show in your MR with how much effort you have to put to get it back after. If you do have it however, then you'll see your MR climb for knowing it. My only issue atm with this is how matchmaking, while expanded already after one of the patches to lift the region lock a bit, could be better and I hope Capcom does improve this later. So for me, I do feel they streamlined it to make it easier to climb even with a sub 50% win rate to put players to the test in the Master League. With all that said, getting to masters being easier than climbing in SFV rank does feel odd since I started in Diamond with characters I felt I definitely shouldn't have, even on the first day of release whether it was the game itself or even characters I just learned lol. I do love this game personally, but people definitely need to be more understanding of valid criticisms with people that also don't enjoy the game and lot of them are the points you made
Actually a super valid take I think you also made good points, like with the MR system. I actually like the MR system and I kinda wish that was how normal ranked was at least in the higher ranks since in order to have a high MR you have to be consistently winning and it's a pretty good way to see how good you are roughly. And yeah while I have certain issues with this game, I also like some things about it too and it CAN be fun sometimes too. Glad you're liking the game, and thanks for watching and for the comment
I KNOWW, like man its so trash just running the same 3 to 4 colors on the two costumes we get for our character. The mods are 100% the only thing holding me over until they release some real costumes. Idk if you’ve seen the ones they showcased a while back (there’s a Pajama one for Juri) but yeah I’m annoyed, I can understand them not releasing a lot of Characters, but I think we should have way more costumes than what we got.
😂😭 You know, I DEFINITELY mighta went a little too crazy with the outfits not gonna lie. However, I had to keep myself entertained SOMEHOW while playing this game 😂
If you don’t want to play a slow, more methodical neutral, then don’t play Street Fighter. Go play BlazBlue or GG or Melty Blood. It really pisses me off how both the developers and these Gen Z fans try to change and mold SF into something that is the antithesis of SF itself. Drive Rush is absolutely a neutral skipping tool that dumbs down the game so that anyone and everyone can win with the least amount of skill required. This is exactly why it’s so easy to get to Master like you said. Because the learning curve for this game is damn near nonexistent 🤷🏽♂️
You can react to drive impact under normal circumstances, but using it when you're really plus is basically a guess game for most people outside of high masters. Seriously on wakeup in the corner drive rush fierce into drive impact will get the wall splat 99% of the time unless they've already seen you do it and are ready for it.
I love you man this is hilarious. The gaslighting bit is so real!! People started doing this with de facto in random scenarios and any random topic like 4 years ago its like we're living in the matrix. Its even worse in the gaming community so I feel you man.
This is comedy gold, LOL. But I do agree. However, I say the biggest issue I have with the game is the inputs. The inputs by themselves, and how Drive Rush alters the input buffer timing. I can't play the game effectively if I can trust that the game is going to so what I tell it to do, especially playing an execution-heavy character like Rashid who already has his own set of problems.
I agree for the most part. You forgot the stupid fucking throw loops. The game is essentially who can put who first in the corner. The entire game feels like guess for game, everything and I mean everything is 50/50 guessing
😂 you know, that’s entirely fair, in my last video I said I was going to mod every single female in the game, so for continuity’s sake I had to do it and showcase them. Thanks for commenting anyway though lol
The ranked complaint feels that way, until you get to do Master League. The game funnels you into Master, yes, but Master League is the actual hard mode.
LVL1's don't have invincibility to projectiles, some LVL2s are not invincible either. LVL3 is the only one that universally has I frames. Not every character needs an EX reversal. Do you know how Broken it would be if Kim had an Ex Reversal with her tatsu? The only character that is really synergising with the system mechanics is Ken.
10:15 I think they show it off cause some people (I mean me and I'm sure others do too) like seeing loads of effects and colours lol. I mean when you look at valorant and how their skins sell it's a similar thing. And I also think Tekken having those particle effects on hit and lots going on vs VF and DOA not having those is what helped Tekken succeed over them. But yea Capcom probably are really proud of this mechanic lol and I think this video has a lot of great points. This was a much less rage baity video than I expected which I'm happy about. Informative and funny 😁
Agree with some points, disagree with others, video was a comfortable watch. I play Kim too so I'll leave a sub. Also what is that hair mod you got going on in the start of the vid for Kim, cant find it on nexus
@@MSilva-eh4rr yeah I didn’t know what it was either it took me a while to find it the first time lol but yeah enjoy, it works with most mods and I like it
"It's too easy to get into master" meanwhile my ass in silver I get your point though, there should be another rank before master, maybe having multiple tiers of master as well. However, I think the reason it is like this is that once you're at master, it's treated more like an elo system, where mmr is the main stat you focus on instead of rank.
I love Street fighter 6 battle system.I like the drive-rush because it adds another layer of strategy. It's a tool to beat someone with better neutrals than you. I also love the drive-impact because it's a good tool to pressure your opponent when they are in a corner.
Yeah, you’re right I agree with the things you said, I just don’t like how good Drive Impact is in the corner lol. And I can understand why people get annoyed with the neutral skip aspect of Drive Rush, I personally just don’t like the +4 frames that it adds because it makes some moves complete cancer (like Juri’s medium punch).
@@bhglghbno that’s false, good luck checking djs drive rush, it’s the fastest in the game as well as the game pretty much locking you into whatever animation you’re in when they start the drive rush if the are close to Medium distance.
I never said I have a hard time reacting to it. I said it’s annoying asf, and that it doesn’t need to be in the game, it’s scrubby and random. But yes even if I did have a hard time reacting to it, I could STILL get to Master cuz the ranked system is fraudulent
@@KillaTheKrashout Drive impact was kinda annoying at first but now its free dmg but i'm not gonna try to convince you. What i will say though. I think the rank system is perfect, from lowest rank to master, and what they have to do now is add more ranks in the mr system like grandmaster and so on. You should be able to put in the effort and get to the 'end' rank in the video game you like bro. And i think the amount of effort needed to get master matches the reward that is master rank. Let the real hardcore fighters fight it out in the mr system. Am i wrong ?
@@Monkey_Tree Nah you’re right, the system they have actually does work really well despite what I might think about it. The addition of the MR system makes it so that the tryhards have something to look towards if they REALLY are interested in the challenge and newcomers get to climb in the normal ranked system, so in the end it works out for everyone. I haven’t really been motivated to raise my MR but I might go for it soon
@@KillaTheKrashout C'mon, skipping neutral with Drive Rush that makes you plus is a lot more scrubby and impatient, specially with Juri and Dee Jay. I honestly think DI is way less worse than this.
Lol, i mean I KINDA was, but not really because a lot of the things I said in the video are things I genuinely don’t like and make me not want to play it. So I do think the game sucks A LITTLE in certain aspects of it, but not like how I said in my last video how “It was the worst fighting game ever” cuz that’s blatantly not true. Anyways though thanks for watching and for the comment
My lord i totally agree with you 95% infact i actually got other issues i could add to the list .. i actuall disapprove a sf game for the first time from sf1.
I see, well thanks for the comment! I had a couple more things I didn’t mention in the video too since I didn’t want it to be too long, but yeah I guess I’m just a little disappointed with this Street Fighter’s competitive side of things, but I understand they wanted to get more new people into it and I guess they succeeded with that.
I get why some characters don't have a DP, but the thing I don't get is why some don't have crouching medium kick cancel to drive rush, those things are busted af, and benefit incredible to those who have.
I don't like the drive system. That and the fact that the game has a pretty small roster when compared to previous titles, but aside from that I'm in love with this game! Either way, your opinion is totally valid, and anyone who doesn't respect that can get piledrived by modern Zangief.
I am(was) a Master Zangief character and literally just uninstalled because of how much BS you have to put up with using him. Like he has no good defensive options whatsoever. Zangief hits the corner and he's dead.
Yup I 100% agree fully and I don’t blame you at all. I used to HATE Zangief at first but once I learned the matchup and realized he has basically NO defensive options, I won A LOT of games from just getting a combo on the Zangief that takes him into the corner and from there there’s nothing they can do really except block. I have a 85% win rate against him which is my highest win rate against any of the characters. Not having defensive options in a game like SF6 is trash
@@KillaTheKrashout Yeah its the game I settled on between Under Night, Melty or Grandrising. The new grand rising game is looking nice too, beta coming soon. I'm kinda digging the anime fighters over the semi realistic fighters.

That’s true. In my experience, I get counter hit nearly every time I attempt to check the Drive Rush. In the higher ranks USUALLY ppl won’t do super telegraphed Drive Rushes, so if you aren’t pressing the button to stop them RIGHT before they Drive Rush, you will more than likely get counter hit. All that to say: With no reversal, it’s safer to just hold the mini game and hope I guess correctly.
Yeah the mods are the main reason I bought a PC. I bought this game on PS5 and PC and dude it got so boring just running the same 2 colors on Console. The mods definitely make playing way more interesting
Enjoyed the video, especially the beginning part with the maternal fornication. Though for the DI corner shenanigans, how about just not getting put in the corner?
Nice video good edits hope to see u continue with your journey i dint play street fighter 6 i play tekken i just wanted to see people take on it currently

Props to you I used to hate Zangief players but I have a newfound respect for them after I learned the matchup and realized most Zangiefs JUST want to grab you and if you avoid that, most of them will crumble. The ones that actually combo with him though are kinda scary lol
It’s just a really annoying mechanic in my opinion. But yeah you’re right, I had to stop doing certain moves because ppl would just DI it at just the right time to where there’s nothing I could do about it
It’s crazy tho I was just watching those channels memeing on LTG But real talk You’ve always been funny and entertaining to me regardless of what others think. Stay persistent mane!
That’s cause LTG is a scrubby shit, bro complains and does the same thing everyone he complains about does, it’s On my way thing to dislike or disagree, like how I disagree with everything this guy said on SF6, but I’m not gonna shit on him for it cause he’s not being hypocritical
for me its simple, everything you do on offense is simply free, almost nothing takes any level of risk, you can buffer drive rush and whether it hits or not its irrelevant because its still your turn regardless, most the top tier characters have plus on block medium buttons which force another guessing game and some characters like deejay, juri etc have stupidly fast neutral drive rushes, which cost 1 bar so essentially nothing since by the time you block and get pushed back or thrown they have recovered it anyway, i just think SF6 is a step backwards as a whole, the skill celling honestly now is just too low and anyone can be good at the game with almost no effort at all. i say this as someone that had decent success in 5 and 6 and ranked high so im not saying it from a POV of someone ass at the game, this is just sadly how capcom now want the game to be and MANY pro players have made very similar complaints
Yup, I don't disagree with a single thing you said tbh. I was trying to look at Drive Rush in a somewhat positive light, but its free as hell I can't lie. And yeah, never in my life have I been able to pick up a fighting game and get the highest rank THIS fast. I guess depending on who you are that might be a good thing or a bad thing, but I think it's bad as far as competitive integrity.
IF the opponent blocks your drive rush attack, you lose another half drive bar. Also, DI on the wall should give you an airborne rebound, so the standard long stupid ass combos shouldn't be that possible. The stun yes, but the regular one, you block and YEY, STUN ANYWAYS
your point about invincible reversals is objectively wrong. drive reversal works the exact same way as if the character had one, in blockstring situations. Drive reversal is less risky than invincible reversal, the punish you take on a drive reversal is always less then that of an invincible reversal.
that's good and all, but one of those actually can KILL the opponent and deal damage, and idk I think if I was ACTUALLY objectively wrong, then why does NOBODY in high ranks use it if their character has an invincible reversal? You can disagree with me but I think Drive Reversal is inherently a worse option and if you have a reversal you have no reason to use it.
I agree with Killa on this one, drive reversals sucks dinossaur balls. It costs two bars (whereas drive rush costs just one), it does not deal damage and is not threatening at all. Like, who would be scared to take a drive reversal that does nothing in comparison to JP's Amnesia, which even gives him mixup opportunities. Also, drive reversal does not give you the opportunity to do mixup, while a OD shoryuken, for example, give you a chance for a Drive Rush mixup afterwards. Drive reversal is like a Reversal without the actual benefits of a reversal, because it does not give damage nor mixup, but you can still be punished if the opponent sees it coming.
@@Xzedopau the point i was refuting was "you could get messed up for d-reversaling" again, you get messed up more for od dp, i shoulda been more clear on that ruclips.net/video/EJmS9gzyL_o/видео.html&ab_channel=xNightMareEffecTClips
I said it’s annoying to react to and sucks having to react to that on top of the millions of other things. It’s a random mechanic that doesn’t need to work the way it does, but is it difficult to react to on its own? Not really. Especially if you mash buttons a lot, you’ll probably react to it very consistently.
Button mashing is what gets players caught up in my experience. They don't accout for range & timing; also hleps to prevent corner & frame traps for me. @@KillaTheKrashout
that LTG impression was so spot on🤣. but dont be dishonest about how you feel just to be a part of the bandwagon. SF6 Does suck...Right now, but hopefully sooner rather than later it'll get better. we cant get another SFV scenerio where its only good on the last season.
Yeah you’re right hopefully they don’t do another SFV, I honestly really hope that they eventually start doing some balance changes or something. But thanks for watching
If they fixed the inputs being all wonky with drive rush I wouldn’t even mind the juri deejay and Ken drive rushes being ridiculous. The fact that when I try to check it, or inv wakeup against it, my timing is so thrown off by the screen freeze and the fact that there is some version of inputs being eaten is actually making me not want to play. DI doesn’t cause me many issues anymore but honestly i hate it even still. Whether being hit by it, hitting someone else with it or countering it just feels like… I’m getting this massive reward for nothing, or losing so much for being hit by it.
Amazed this vid got so many dislikes for what is fairly tame criticism of the game (Coming from someone who loves the game) DI most of the time is very reactable, the big issue which other people have said that a lot of characters just a large amount of normals that can't be cancelled to defend against it, it's why Ryu suffers so much in this game On topic of ranked what I've seen is people treating Master as the "real" ranked because of MR, also you pointed out character but there's a huge variety of actual players in the game, Platinum has the most players in it and the range of skill is very noticeable
Your vid was funny, but you do have some points. I know stoping drive impact isn't the easiest thing to do, even if there's multiple options, and that Juri shit sounds annoying...but on brand for her. Thanks for the vid.
Characters like Juri, Ken, and Deejay represent everything about what I personally loathe about modern fighting games. Yes, characters in old fighting games could be broken as hell at times, but there were definitely were smaller gaps in my opinion between lower and higher tiered characters. Ken and Juri are prime examples of so many perks that the few "cons" they have give you no reason to select another character over them when combined with the ridiculous drive rush system. I miss the days of focus attacks, forgive me if I sound like the "old guy who hates modern games." Though that may be true to a point anyways... :)
There were not smaller gaps between low tiers and high tiers in old fighting games. Low tiers in old fighting games were low tier because they basically didn’t work
@@Pornelius007 Agree to disagree. While I admit some characters have struggles against top tier characters in stuff like SF2, games are far more unbalanced nowadays (and that isn't limited to fighting games). Less is often more and when devs create too many characters and/or too complex of a fighting system, the game often loses appeal quicker. Focus system was never something people complained much about nor was parrying in SF3 (while it took skill to get real good at, the reward was high). SF6 does not gave that curve which is why many pros even give it flack.
@@Batman1084CK I mean, you will never see any bottom tier players succeed in old fighting games. Compare that to now with players like Snake Eyez and Peanut
The game has some issues that are beyond frustrating that have been there since launch like online ranked match making is still a problem but for some reason no one even talks about anymore. I shouldnt have to get a VPN to be able to play the game with people in ranked that I could play in SFV in ranked with. As well as people within my CPT region. I also have a lot of issues with the roster and characters in it and lack of interesting/popular characters from the franchise. For me the biggest issues with DR is the input eating and just how absurd some of them are with both speed, distance traveled and the degree of steering (can stop them short). Having something quick to catch people off guard is fine ala dashes because its another layer to neutral but the risk/reward for raw DR is stupid af and there isnt any consistent counter play to it. I see raw DR get compared to yolo ex move to vt activate in SFV but the biggest difference is there was counter play to it with v-reversal this you just have to hold it. If you compare raw DR with dashes in SFV (not all dashes were equal) they could at least be consistently checked and were in a counter hit state if checked so lead to the risk/reward being better. You also have the issue with the game storing inputs, sure you get used to it but you shouldnt have to account for it and its actually retarded that its still an issue 6 months later. You can also go into how retarded the risk/reward for perfect parry attempts are as well as how they are the whole reason throw loops have to exist (which is something that makes the game quite boring imo). Thats not even going into all the character specific issues with balance and how stupid JP is. To put into perspective I have over 300 hours into the game, got master within the first 2 weeks, have an MR between 1700-1800, my win rate in the current MR phase is 70% and consistently get top 3 at my locals so this isnt salt. Its just my opinion of what issues are in SF6 and overall they dont make a fun experience for me.
Lots of people say its too easy to get to Master rank but no one actually looks at the numbers. Only 13% of the entire player base as of November is Master. About 80% of those people have 1500 MR or less. Not only that but some people Sajam, Nephew as two examples have everything including random select at Master rank. Which is 23 characters each at the time of posting this. So that 13% is also not really accurate since many of the characters are people wirh dupes. If only 10% of people can get the rank and then like anothet 80% of them get trashed once they do whats the issue?
I do think the "it's easy to get masters" point wasn't TOO important since SF6 still has a leader board so it's not like after getting master you're done and the best if you want to keep grinding, but 10-13% of players having the top rank in a competitive game is a lot higher than most competitive games typically.
The highest rank in the game should not be achievable by 10% of the player base. They fixed it with the MR system tho it’s probably the most accurate rank mode we have ever had in terms of judging player skill.
Fair, I went on a win streak when I first got to master, and then i got on at night and the tryhards came out and then boom, Losing Streak. The ppl in 1400 are definitely worse though it’s not that bad I could climb back up to 1600 probably if I feel like it. Thanks for that algorithm boost with the comment though. You might ignore me but RUclips ain’t, so GG
Mostly agreeable. The Drive system just transformed it into another game, with some characters just benefiting massively from it and other that feels like it is useless on them. Rushdown characters are dope in this game, with any sort of loop both on grabs and nearly infinite combos that can even chip you to death. The game is not balanced at all and scrubs playing OP characters downplay their advantages every damn time. Like Angrybird listing at least 5 characters better than Ken, when we know that only Luke can be better than ken. And let me not start with JP that should be in a JoJo game and lands pretty much any combo he wants even casual ones.
Fun video. Ranked is fine once you understand it start in master, below master is just casual. And yes, DI is a dumb mechanic but it was disigned that way on purpose, and a as master scrub gief, is easy even for him to reach master. Completetly agree on the reversals, someones has too many and other (me) just level 3.
Seeing gameplay of any of the older SF games would often make me want to start playing them again because they looked fun to play. I have yet to see any gameplay of SF6 that looks fun to play.
i hate this masters is easy take. ok cool masters isnt masters like it was in sf5 but are you top of the leader boards 2300mr. no your obviously not so nothing is easy its all relative. you want to go around saying your masters and it has merit but its a different game with different achievement levels. i get where your trying to come from but its very strange you want a superficial word to mean your good at the game when your number is now how you judge that instead of a word...
They had to patch in the MR system because of how silly the old system was. Don’t get me wrong, the MR system is BETTER and it works well, still doesn’t make what I said or what others say about Masters being easy to obtain any less of a valid point though. I don’t need to be 2300 MR to tell you that climbing to Master is easy asf and that anybody can do it, which essentially makes all the ranks worthless and the only thing that DOES matter is in fact your MR, which cheapens the entire ranked journey up until you start getting MR in my opinion.
wait wait more importantly... that thick kim bikini mod. is that the curvy kim mod bikini mod on nexus or a diff combination of mods?@@KillaTheKrashout
pretty much agree with every point here... not having a reliable reversible for wake up is probably my single biggest complaint as a gief....if you don't have lvl 3 ready you opponent gets to dry hump their controller risk free

I can’t react to that crap
Counter DI against Gief with crouching medium kick or EX SPD

I have old man reflexes and play a character that I’m convinced DI was created to counter (sim) but I still actually like the mechanic. It forces me not to autopilot and personally I like that. Street Fighter 6 is garbage because:
5. They ruined Cammy’s and Chin Li’s outfits. 😉

Points made.... but Kimberly bro? Really? Everybody gets to master rank with Kimberly. And you know ltg is hilarious lol.
@@KillaTheKrashout I understand. Online ranked is a joke. It's scrubby as hell. But there's still fun to have in SF6.

You forgot 2 more shits: throw loop and meaty normals. Talk about throw loop, it was broken in SF5, now shit getting even worse in SF6.
Glad you're liking the game, and thanks for watching and for the comment
it's so annoying how Capcom hasnt released more cool skins and outfits. i see so many good modded ones. Capcom is so slow at releasing content

I mean when you look at valorant and how their skins sell it's a similar thing.
@@KillaTheKrashout exactly. Well said. Ggs
@@KillaTheKrashout C'mon, skipping neutral with Drive Rush that makes you plus is a lot more scrubby and impatient, specially with Juri and Dee Jay. I honestly think DI is way less worse than this.
So the short of it is you're mad clickbaiting and blowing stuff out of proportion. Got it. I'm off.
Great LTG impression though
I don't like the drive system. That and the fact that the game has a pretty small roster when compared to previous titles, but aside from that I'm in love with this game! Either way, your opinion is totally valid, and anyone who doesn't respect that can get piledrived by modern Zangief.
Obviously it’s going to have a small roster compared with a game that was getting DLC for 6 years.
Not having defensive options in a game like SF6 is trash
that 88 at the end of your name?
Got tired of playing Ken online so I uninstalled the game for awhile. Playing Under Night In Birth now getting ready for the new game
YOOO YOU PLAY Under Night??? You’re actually goated I loved that game
@@KillaTheKrashout Yeah its the game I settled on between Under Night, Melty or Grandrising. The new grand rising game is looking nice too, beta coming soon. I'm kinda digging the anime fighters over the semi realistic fighters.
@@Unbelievable47 Same man I have been enjoying the anime fighters a little more I think. Maybe it’s the style idk why, but yeah I never tried Melty blood but it looked kinda fun
I feel like your drive rush complaint comes from your failure to stop the minigame properly.
All that to say: With no reversal, it’s safer to just hold the mini game and hope I guess correctly.
this guy gonna blow up
I’m not gonna lie I did NOT expect a lot of people to watch this I’m really surprised 😮
I like your sense of humor, even not agreeing with every thing you said.
The drive rush part killed me lol if your opponent has better neutral than you you can make up for it with drive rush 😂
i wish capcom would let people on ps and xbox do costumes.. all the pc players get to mod the costumes
Yeah the mods are the main reason I bought a PC. I bought this game on PS5 and PC and dude it got so boring just running the same 2 colors on Console. The mods definitely make playing way more interesting

You didn’t complain about the constant down+low punch mashing. That’s more annoying than everything else in this list.
Im looking forward to your fnaf song cover bro.
Enjoyed the video, especially the beginning part with the maternal fornication. Though for the DI corner shenanigans, how about just not getting put in the corner?

Not super into fighting games, but I have this game through steam family sharing and I'm quite enjoying it. I noticed you said master rank Zangief is salute worthy. My two mains are Luke, and Zangief.
I know what I must do...
Pick luke. Lol
2:18 "If you're average, you should be master" LoL. Try playing on the Asia server bro.
I didn’t even think about the different regions. I definitely believe they’re probably actually insane on the Asia server
Im playing zangief, 1700mr no reversal, no invencible special (beside lvl3) no True AA, no crossup responsa, its is funny 😅
Props to you I used to hate Zangief players but I have a newfound respect for them after I learned the matchup and realized most Zangiefs JUST want to grab you and if you avoid that, most of them will crumble. The ones that actually combo with him though are kinda scary lol
See I don’t like DI because if you slightly mistime your combo that’s it for you.
It’s just a really annoying mechanic in my opinion. But yeah you’re right, I had to stop doing certain moves because ppl would just DI it at just the right time to where there’s nothing I could do about it
just casually putting the modified proportions bikini kimberly mod footage in the background while not cooking shit
Nah you’re just hating, I most definitely did cook a little bit, but thanks for the algorithm boost tho lil bro
It’s crazy tho I was just watching those channels memeing on LTG But real talk You’ve always been funny and entertaining to me regardless of what others think. Stay persistent mane!
Appreciate it dog, thanks for watching
@@KillaTheKrashout couldn't agree more dude honestly
@@Xzedopau the point i was refuting was "you could get messed up for d-reversaling"

Thick Kim almost made me re-install this trash
You ARE a scrub if D.I is too difficult!
Amazed this vid got so many dislikes for what is fairly tame criticism of the game (Coming from someone who loves the game)
DI most of the time is very reactable, the big issue which other people have said that a lot of characters just a large amount of normals that can't be cancelled to defend against it, it's why Ryu suffers so much in this game
On topic of ranked what I've seen is people treating Master as the "real" ranked because of MR, also you pointed out character but there's a huge variety of actual players in the game, Platinum has the most players in it and the range of skill is very noticeable
I like the drive rush but I hate the drive inpact it's so annoying
1400 mr.. opinion ignored

I wouldn't say you're wrong, but the way you put it is hilarious. Also, I personally don't care about winning but if you do, why are you playing Kim?
This game's mid and overrated af.
