The only 2 things that im hating in world tour are:
1 NO checkpoints when you win (tornument secions)
If u loose for example the 3rd fight of 5, you have to restart the whole thing all over again and it just becomes tedious those secions
2 Enemys are like 5 levels above you and they hit SO HARD
    (Even with items)

Not to mention the fact that Li-Fen, Chun Li and other CPUs do 1000+ damage per light kick. And that’s not me exaggerating, that’s literally the damage numbers!
The fact you constantly get attacked by enemies, basically forcing a grindfest onto you.
The fact it isn’t really that fun. I’ve learnt more about how to play from playing against another person who hasn’t touched street fighter since Street Fighter 2 Turbo (Dhalsim struggles against jump-ins) than CPUs (doesn’t help that they BLATANTLY CHEAT, they didn’t even charge their Kikokens!)

Completely agree. There's a whole story going on in sf6 but you're basically on the outside looking in. Like I wanna know what going on with these guys. Having my own character is cool but I wanna see the main characters progress. Also yes the leveling up is a pain in the ass

I agree with you on what you said. For me the more I played world tour the more I hate it. The opponent leveling and damage they give to you is rigged. I feel like they are stretching the gameplay with unnecessary grind. Grind is good when well balanced.

You're not in the minority, you're actually in the majority. All the people who hype up World Tour are only doing so because shilling for either Capcom, the FGC or both. SF6 overall is a mediocre game, and WT is a pure abomination. All the points you brought up are 100% legit, and even there are more problems like the implementation of voice acting (not just for your avatar but the rest of the characters too), huge design flaws like the Drive Stall ability from the talent tree that makes no sense, and so many more, all along with the ending which is not only awful (like you said) but is the WORST ending of all fighting games and possibly ALL VIDEO GAMES EVER. Even the Arcade mode have some endings that are really bad too. So again, you're not alone dude.

I with ya. I was actually disappointed. I was hoping that the World Tour section to be a game changer. I got me hyped. But when I played for a few hours, I realized it was a swing and a miss.
Plus, the story was kinda a flop. Also, what's the point of creating your avatar if you don't hear him or her talk or interact with someone?
A huge opportunity, wasted. I wanted it to be a home run, but it just missed the mark.

It would be cool if the stage backgrounds they copy-pasted over at least had more collision, like, let me walk down Féte Fontaine, or the weird foggy Victorian street.
Also, the level system feels like it matters way too much.

So... did we eventually get the micro-transaction for the faster leveling up\or for reaching maximum level?
