Incredible energy. and my goodness thats a sweet helmet! So glad you're doing an entire suit to compliment it. How do you keep the heat gun from melting your barged edges while you open up your detail cuts? Had that issue with Astronemas shoulder so I'm gonna do detailing before i glue it on the other shoulder. Keep up the awesome work.
Thank you! Applying the glue in two thin layers and waiting until the edges are tacky helps me a lot with this issue. Also I don't hold my heat gun in one place on my helmet for long. I just wait until it's slightly warm, and then move on, not focusing on the seams at all. Hope that helps!
I'm thankful that you remind us to be patient a couple of times while doing this tutorial. I know some people that like to rush to get things done, myself included. In the end, too much glue or improper measurements can really mess up your cosplay so patience is indeed a virtue. Thanks
Aw thank you so much that means a lot! Impatience is something I always fall victim too--especially when working with barge. I know if I was more patient in the past, my past projects would be much better. But I learned from my mistakes (and am still constantly learning from all the mistakes I make)
Really liked how in depth you got with this tutorial. Crafting a helmet usually struck me as a rather daunting task but the methods you use here make it seem much more manageable. I love it!
Oh my God! I'm not even ONE MINUTE into this video, and I'm already in love! Zonbi is BEAUTIFUL!! That helmet is AWESOME!! (I can't wait to watch the build!) and the KITTY TAKES THE CAKE!!! Oh my God what a beautiful animal!! I love ART, COSTUMES, MODELS, DIORAMAS and I ESPECIALLY LLLLOVE CATS!! What a gorgeous Kitty that is!!
Remarkable. You are so talented. I'm doing two reapers and a female demon for Halloween. I'm just getting my supplies now. I'm sewing thier out fits and building home made body forms to make them real like. I send you pictures when I get them done.
Thank you bebe!! And HEY. YOU CAN SPEAK MULTIPLE LANGUAGES! Plus your writing is better than 99% of people I know who have been speaking and writing in English their entire lives. You're the real dream
Amazing tutorial! Question: It seems at times you use super glue and other barge or contact cement...is there a method to which one you plan to use based on its function or foam density or whatever is on hand at the time? Just curious.
Another great video we thoroughly enjoy the content you put up. On a different note I have a question. We 3D print it and assembled a stormtrooper helmet it's a big helmets I need to Pad out the inside with foam for forehead you know sides and stuff what would you recommend is the best foam or material to use for that? I'm assuming I would just use some thick foam and glue it in the inside but I figure I would ask the expert. Thank you for your time. Have a great day. God bless
Excellent, excellent tutorial. Your hair is so naturally amazesauce, lucky you. Anyway, question- where are you getting your bulk 6mm eva foam from? I can only find smaller sheets via Amazon.com (my usual source), but yours have no patterns on any side, and the black is exactly how I like it. Care to share where you're getting that excellent stuff?
Awesome video and I love Diablo III. I want to cosplay fallout t-51b power armor any tips to save money and materials? I want this to be my first cosplay do you think that it's too complicated for me?
"It's time for dinner when I say it is"...I know those feels *looks at my black lab who just lost 40 pounds but has no issue trying to gain it back* Great tutorial! Really helpful for planning my future cosplay! :D (still has no idea exactly what that might be XD, all I know is that i want there to be a helmet.)
I say when its feeding time, dis my house........Yeah that's what I get from my dog as well (I swear she is a cat in dog clothing). She even puts her paw on my hand when its on the mouse until she gets her way.On a serious note, have you considered making books on cosplay design or offering up templates to download etc?
ZonZonZonbi Since I found your channel I have found your vids really informative and helpful!. Thanks heaps especially for this vid because I am definitely going to knock out a helmet!!!.
This is my first ever helmet tutorial video! OoOoOo! I hope you all have a great day!

ZonZonZonbi when you put the helmet on, I immediately went oh! Looks like Angela from gotg .🤔
This was great. I’ve been thinking on making a Star Wars style helmet and now I know what to do. Thank you so much.
Thank you! And best of luck on your build!

A gorgeous build - The "All Seeing Googly Eye" had me chuckling before it got coated in plasti-dip and turned into the rivet it was meant to be :)
Thank you! I'm glad you liked that!
This tutorial couldn't have come at a better time! I'm going to make a Lady Thor cosplay so this tutorial will help with her helmet. Thank you!

Great tutorial! Really helpful for planning my future cosplay! :D (still has no idea exactly what that might be XD, all I know is that i want there to be a helmet.)
Hahaha! Thank you!
I'm curious why all the different types of adhesives? How do you know which one to use when?
I like using barge/contact cement for my edges I know need to be flexible or stretch or for larger pieces. I like using super glue for smaller pieces.
nice vid :D (btw what king of glue did u use?)
Thank you! I used super glue and barge in this video.
Registration lines! Evil Ted would be proud
I love how cats of youtubers universally understand when their parents are making videos and they decide to interrupt like “naw it’s about me now”
Can I glue two 3mm yoga mats to make arm and leg pices and what kinda of glue should I use
What Barge do you use? Rubber Cement?

The Steven Hawking voice on the cat A+ ; A ;
Do you ever have a problem with the googly eyes rattling? I had bell earrings and I know it they drove me crazy
In a noisy convention hall the quiet rattling of googly eyes is unnoticeable (lol). It doesn't bother me!
I say when its feeding time, dis my house........Yeah that's what I get from my dog as well (I swear she is a cat in dog clothing). She even puts her paw on my hand when its on the mouse until she gets her way.On a serious note, have you considered making books on cosplay design or offering up templates to download etc?
I love how your videos are both funny and educating
