I think you are the master of 2mm foam wrapping. I'd be too scared to mess up all my hard work I created underneath. XD And that cat is amazing.
Glad to see you are back so strong. I was rooting for your recovery, and it seems you are kicking ass and taking names. Congrats, and great build!
This makes me so excited to build armor this month!!! Your videos always make me wanna MAKE SOMETHING!
Congrats on the sponsor! I'll have to check in on that app soon. BTW, think my wife's on board to get the Neva... Also, you're just flying through this Crusader suit. Once i stock up on supplies I'll have to get back to work. I think I can speak for all of us that seeing your stuff inspires us as much as we inspire you. Keep up the good work!
Testing Limitz THANK YOU! You’re so kind. And yay for your Neva!! You’re going to have a lot of fun with it! ❤️
This video is super convenient! I'm planning on making a traditional fantasy dwarf armor later this year, and the calf/knee pieces are layered the same way as your Crusader knee piece. Really cool to see your process and how you layered the pieces together.
tiffrose02 AWWW! You’re so sweet thank you! I can’t wait to see what you make!
I truly love the work you do and find your how-to videos very inspiring. A question about applying the 2mm, have you tried a vacuum setup to pull it into place and if so how did it work for you?
Remember, you are great.
It's time to armor THEM S T E M S
Use a heat gun to shape my thighs..........if only I could do that for my actual ones ....problem would be the bacon smell :D
I CAN NEVER GET MY EDGES TO ROUND OUT THIS BEAUTIFULLY
ellamarieeway don’t get discouraged! It takes a lot of practice! I still mess up rounding my edges sometimes 😭
Your work is so beautiful. Truly professional quality :)
Joe Cruz Thank you Joe!
All your videos are so helpful!!! I am so greatful!!!
dang you make crafting foam armour look easy! honestly you inspire me to actually get off my ass and make something :)
Congratulations!!! Moving up!!
Thanks Roman!
ughhhhhhh gotta get me some of that TNT cosplay foam now that I used up all my mats :P and dem rounded edges ... I had never considered using 2mm foam in place of worbla before, will have to give that a go ... even if it looks intimidating!
Omg I just started planning and making my very first cosplay and I am soooo happy I found your channel, your videos are really interesting and helpful!
(Sorry if my english is bad, I speak spanish haha)
I am using this for my knights cosplay for Halloween for trunk or treat
Green an essential colour when Cosplaying
Congrats Grace on the sponsor! 💜 your cats are so cute 😻
CupcakeandDuckie Thank you!! They’re good cats....mostly. 🤣
how is it that pets just??? know??? when you're doing something vital and important?? whenever I'm laying out and cutting fabric for clothes and costumes, my dog just HAS to sit on it.
anyway thank u heaps for such detailed and informative tutorials. im definitely going to use these neato tips and tricks for my next armoured cosplay, whatever that may be. there are just too many to choose from.
My pooch will be snoring away upside down until I get a phone call. Then wakes up, walks around half the house to get her giant raw hide chew (its 26 inches long and about as thick as a log, lasts her about a year) that she hasn't decided to touch all week then drags it as noisily as possible into the front room about a foot away to start play attacking it and chewing.............until I come off the phone and she feigns disinterest with it. I swear its worse than having a stroppy 2 year old child at times.
Hahahah!! YES! Always in the middle of everything! Especially if it involves fabric and sewing. 😂 Thank you so much!
The Zonbinator is back! Now with armoured stems.
Love your videos and your work keep up the great work
Linecook Thor2006 Thanks so much!
Congratulations!💃💃💃it's been a long time coming.
Nice!
I remember amino. Dark times. Congrats on the sponsorship though
The TNT link isn’t working. Not sure if it helps you to click that specific link. 👍🏾
Just fixed it!
How do you keep your rotary tool from jumping when you sand?
Hmm, great tutorial, one question though, is cat essential or can dog be substituted in case of allergy? :-D
Absolutely! :^D
Your cat is so fluffy. 🤗
Awesome video 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you!
I call my tabby a potato too! Great tutorial as usual!
Natalie Saunders wow really?! That’s so cool 🤣 and thank you so much!
I got a question zonbi. Why didnt you use tin foil and duck tape to make the patterns? Its hard to eye ball the exact lengh you need to make armor atleast for me lol. But it looks damn epic. I just found that curious since i started watching your diablo armor progress and notice you started to make tin foil and duck tape patterns and later didnt use them.
You made my entire day
Sarah Blakey WHAAAAT?! You made mine when I found your INCREDIBLE ART!! 😍😘
Cute cats and awesome cosplay... What more could a person need?
What type head do you use when sanding the foam?
Lovely
Could you try to make a tutorial of how to do the stretching of foam over it all?
DeathBright I go more in depth with that process on my female crusader chest armor tutorial! I hope that helps you for now!
ZonZonZonbi I will do my best! I could always ask if I don't understand something
Can you do a video on how your attached the leg armour with the velcro? Or even just explain it?
EarthyChan Cosplay I will show that with this build when I sew the under suit and do the rest of the strapping! I also do attach armor with Velcro in my other build videos if you’re interested in watching!
ZonZonZonbi Great! Thanks so much!
I like your little silver potato xD
Ahhh, yes! New video!!! :DD
Coswald Yayyy! Thanks for watching!
Awesome!
Sergio Nieto Thank you!!
I have a question for you, I just started using my rotary tool for the first time last night and I was having trouble keeping it steady. It just wanted to keep flying right off the foam! Any tips for a newbie!?
Nancy Wiebel I use mine in small strokes going the same direction on a lower speed setting when I’m having trouble controlling my pieces. Finding a comfortable position to use your rotary tool in will also help. For example I hunch over and use my knees as support sometimes for harder to handle pieces. I hope that helps you!
Also!! I found that using the flex shaft attachment makes it sooooo much easier to handle your rotary tool. Without it, I find the tool is too big for me to be able to maneuver and handle comfortably (but I also have tiny baby hands)
Thank you so much, I was working with it this weekend and found it much easier with your tips!
Pretty impressive. (:
Rodrigo thanks!
Your cat looks and acts my cat except your cat is thicker than mine
Man is just me or when starting cosplay and trying to build these foam armor pieces they come out completely terrible? I try and do everything according to the videos but oh lord when its done it looks terrible like no where near anything in the tutorials. And at the end when she features people I always laugh cause if I ever sent a picture of what I make oh geez would it be funny. Anyways thanks for the tutorials even if I suck at following I guess! :D
InjectGhost You don’t suck. It takes tons of practice! Using these techniques will help you, but time and persistence make the biggest difference. I’ve been doing this for 10 years and I still goof up all the time. Don’t feel bad and don’t give up!
That...is one fluffy cat
Fear the Fluffinator!
Silver potato!!!
Now all I see is Groot.
