HAPPY VALENTINES DAY?! I hope you rage on a bunch candy while watching this thigh armor tutorial. Love ya'll!
Love ya too
So much energy. Them's some big hip/thigh bits. I always love your detail work. Looking good again!
P.s. thanks for your input on my Darkonda build during Bill's Q&A.
Thank you! And happy we could help!
I've literally never used super glue without gluing my fingers together.
Saaaaame
I just now saw your feature this week [binge watching your videos again] senpai noticed me! Thank you so much! Also I might try this for my next armor build considering my last one was...rough
HOW HAVE I ONLY JUST DISCOVERED THIS CHANNEL! This is absolutely perfect for my current build. Good job Zonbi, the tassets look awesome.
Thank you!! Happy it helped!
This couldn't have come at a better time, thank you!
I’m about to make some thigh armor for my orc barbarian! I swear you’re magic you always manage to post helpful tutorials right when I need them! ✂️😊
Aww thank you Sarah!
All of this work in only a few hours, girl you work fast!
Happy Valentines day to you and Adam, hope you both have a good one!
Don't rage on the candy too much though, or those thigh pieces might not be so big on you!
Amazing you used the correct noun. Everyone else l have viewed says leg gaurds, which are for calves called Greaves.
This was a really neat video! Props to your editor for crystal clearly representing you and props to you for an awesome quick build!
Thankyou :-)
Thank you!
Oh no! Glitter isn't the only cosplay herpes??? We're doomed??????
YES! It's the less fun and sparkly strain of the cosplay herps
Protect.....all your.....bits "down there"...The way you say it combined with your facial expressions had me in stitches! Keep up the good work Zonbi :)
Lol Thank you!
Awesome idea This actually inspired me.
This is perfect!!! I'm currently making a Batman Ninja and this tutorial will help so much with the thight armor😭❤
Ashley M. Díaz Vázquez thats badass, lmk how that turns out!
You have my fave pokemon in the background!!!!!!
Love it as always!
I mainly dabble in electronics (3D printing, LEDs and artsy-PCBs) but I love watching makers working in other media, gives me the motivation I need to get on with projects :)
That's so cool! And I'm glad you enjoyed this.
Ahhhh you‘re so sweet you seriously make my day over and over again! Amazing work you did there and i just can‘t wait for the next video :) I wish you an amazing day and of course an amazing valentines day, you really deserve it!!
Thank you so much!
foam herpes is so accurate it hurts. also glad to hear I'm not the only one who gets the crispy super glue fingers!
I love your videos, they have helpped me alot! And this video has made it possible to create the thigh armor for my O.C cosplay, so thanks alot!
Great video. Nicely done.
Those tassets look amazing, so much potential for modifications :). Beautiful work.
Thank you Joe!
I don’t know how you keep your Rotary tool so straight I’m everywhere
Lots of practice! I used to be a mess.
Same here. I have found personally the best way is stick it on the lowest setting first, then use a scrap bit of foam to practice your strokes and just remember to gently apply it when going at it. Soft and gentle not hard and fast.
Kind of hoping you'll go for either the ChainFlail or the Shield cause they're like...the most CRUSADER thing ever
Awesome work😀 still waiting to see how your lightsaber comes out
You should make a buckler for ur crusader cosplay I am a huge fan of Diablo and I know you will make an amazing buckler
great vids. thank you so much for all of your tutorials..great job!!!
Wow! I'm super late to this video, but THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHOUTING OUT MY SHEIK COSPLAY!!
Were you on SyFy’s Cosplay melee show? If not you should have been. You’re awesome 😀😀
"Cosplay Herpes" LMAO GRACE AHAHA
Always wear protection to help fend off cosplay herpes. Remember, no glove no love......Try the thin vinyl latex free gloves while doing it. Your hands will thank you for it.
Loved (and wonder how many people got) the Zoolander reference
"Cosplay Herpes" I died XD
I see. I got it. This is good knowledge. I wishhowever, I could find a tutorial about how to make a buckle that works for other people who are not my size lol. I never understood how buckles work man. But ... luckily.. the buckle should work for people my size at least xD
Happy this helped you!
beautiful tutorial thank you for the upload!
Thanks Justice!
AHHH, so cooool! I wish I could make this, but I don't have the time, money, or space--
Great detail work🙂
Thanks Andy!
im really frustrated that I haven't known about tntcosplaysuppliers until now. XDbeen wasting my money on eva mat pieces
TNT IS SO GOOD. I'm so spoiled by their foam. EVA mats are great too though!
+ZonZonZonbi tnt has a great selection. They just need velcro😂
Wonder if a down draft style table would cut down on the Foam Dust (aka Cosplay Herpes..LOL that was funny)
Yay! I can't wait to start working on my own tasset-thigh-bit protection leggies xD Also, boots or gloves maybe?
Oh nice! I would love to see them when you're done!

Thanks for this great tutorial :)
You mentioned that there are various tools you could use for adding the scratches and battle marks - which one are you referring to? :)
I love this!!!
Thanks Naomi!
Love love love your hair color ♥︎
Thank you Angie
Will it help to rough up the surface before hot glueing the elastic onto the back of the armor piece?
I don't do that but you're welcome to!
this is so helpful!
Thank you! Glad this helped!
Currently I am working on Tyrael's armor and to hold the pieces I made a foamy belt :D
Whenever I use a rotary tool on foam I find it really hard to control and it takes out big chunks of the foam instead of making smooth lines like I see other cosplayers make. Is the sandpaper too rough? I have no idea what I'm doing wrong 😭
It would be fantastic if someone could tell me where to get thicker foam since I seam to be unable to find it.
I put a link in the description :^)
ZonZonZonbi omg thanks
Looks awesome as always love your videos and work keep up the awesome work and god bless cops and keep them safe
Thank you!
ZonZonZonbi you are very welcome
Cool!!
Thank you Sergio!
Argh so cool!
Thank you!
At 8:51 to 9:05 the lines look like the Atari symbol
Shoutout to notification squad!!!
You make the weathering look so easy!!!
Thank you Roman!
How did it take you to make this part ?
Can you sit with them though
How bout some shin armor, i rarely see anything on leg armor let alone shin..
nice
Thanks!!
Can you post links to your facebook and insta accounts, you're not showing up online oddly... would love to get your opinion on my work :) White Shadow Cosplay on Fb and Insta :)
Simmer down with that careless knife sharpening girl
Cutting paper to an approximate size? I'm out. Too complicated for me.
Lol foam herpies
