If you have a yard. Harbor freight sells a 10foot by 17 foot long by 6 door tall portable car park. But it anchors into the ground and can be used as a workshop
10 years later, you're still the best. You set the bar in terms of leather armor making. You really excel in patern-making, that's what sets you appart. I've always been a big fan of your work. Good job, much love from Québec.
Looks super cool! Good to see the traditional art of leather craft being used for fantasy armor and cosplay. *_The creative gears in my head are churning._*
I speak not only on my behalf, but for thousands of other's sitting at home watching these incredible videos of this man's amazing leather work,I am so impressed with your knowledge of leatherworks,as well as your tutorial skills to teach others your craft, simply amazing and beautiful. Thank you for your eagerness to show us your work.
I really enjoy your videos, Prince Armory. No BS, no drama, and limited talking. Clear video and explanations as well and a very classy plug for your ads. Great work
Dude, subscribed 👍 You have such a calm, easy listening voice for tutorials, really enjoyed it. Right up until the point the music kicked back in, which then blew out my eardrums. Also appreciated the 14:00 mark, where the audio died completely, making me fiddle with my headphones until bang: the music kicked back in full volume. So yeah, amazing job, I now need to find a UK leather supplier so I can try this! (Even if myself and next 3 generations of my family have tinnitus ☺️)
I like it how calm you sound, I've taken multiple classes and all of them have had a high pitched instructor who is really bored by that time. It just makes it so much easier to listen to. Thanks.
I am new to leather crafting and I have watched my fair share of video's and tutorials. I came across one of your fantasy armor builds and learned a tremendous amount on the craft. Techniques on dyeing, painting, tooling, molding, etc. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I look forward to more tutorials and.... I am currently saving the funds to either buy the warrior kit or at least the pattern and leather. Again , thank you. You are extremely talented and generous for sharing your knowledge with others. Have a great day and stay safe.
thanks your easy to follow instrustructions and clear voice made this so easy. Ive played with leather before and had some success. but after watching your video i will have greater success!
Oh my god, I do not understand how you don’t have a million subs at least. The quality and generosity in sharing your high skill crafting is amazing, Thank you! I just went to my First fair and am so excited to try making a leather piece
From someone who’s never looked at leather before, this is fascinating! I love the way you explain what your doing this way everyone can learn something. Keep it up!
Great narration even a new comer in leather works can understand, good advice and tips, Great video and a beautiful Spaulder at the end, Thank you for sharing.
My very first leather project was the fantasy bracers from this series. I made both styles from the pattern - one in shiny black with the wings and one in mottled dark brown with the more traditional rounded edges. Boy, did I learn a LOT from that project. Come payday, its time to get this pattern (already have the leather and tools) but I tell myself that if I want to wear this in public I'm gonna need to really workout harder at the gym than I have been. Tandy, Weaver, Springfield, and Maker's Supply all owe you big time for getting me hooked on leather work!
Been working the whole set so far, helmet, bracers, and now spaulders. For an upcoming Renaissance faire. Thank you so much! More tutorials with pieces similar to these!
I like your philosophy .... quality over speed. Nice job. I work leather for over 35 years now 100% hand craft and it's an art. I tell you this NICE JOB keep that spirit and you will became a master leather craftman. thank's for your video.
Were have you been all my life??? I love your videos, real professional leather work. Thanks so much for sharing, your videos will help me build my warrior outfit. Thanks 😌
Haven’t even finished the video only a minuet in and already subscribed, your the perfect thing to watch to go to sleep or have a headache or sick or just any time. You really are great.
As much as I am impressed with your crafting skill, I m impressed with your skill as an instructor. The one does not necessarily come with the other. Thanks for these videos, and keep them coming!

This is the first video of yours that I've watched and have a subscribe. Even if I never get into leather working just watching you work is a pleasure. Not only are you a master craftsman but you are beyond a doubt a master teacher as well. You and those like you of all professions make RUclips what it is today. Keep up the good work, nay , keep up the master work and I look forward to watching your future tutorials.
Awesome tutorial! My interest levels are high! You’re tutorial is very detailed yet simple, instant sub! It doesn’t help that I’m already a crafter, this video makes me want to pick up another hobby!
"...and fluctuations in holiday dinners" Absolutely hilarious😂😂 Beautifully done. Ive just started making leather armour for a friend of mine, and with how this piece turned out, i cant wait to dtart on his shoulders! Thanks for such an in depth, and informative tutorial!!
It's mostly a matter of streamlining the process. Depending on how you articulate the armor, many sections of the border will be permenantly hidden under/behind other plates. Since these bits will never be seen, the extra time, energy, and materials are unnecessary. There is nothing wrong with painting the borders beforehand, but waiting until things are assembled may save you a bit of time in the long run.
It seems like raising an arm with this design (with a strap over a chest) is on the hard side, because the main part of spaulder is mostly rigid (only lower parts are flexible because of chicago screws). Sure, I can use gorget or a cuirass to hold the spaulders, but my costume doesn't suggest using them. Can you please give me an advice on how can I change the pattern to be more flexible?
That's the trade-off. If you want to only wear one pauldron or just pauldrons it not going to be as mobile. Watch the style two video and the breastplate video and the full suit recap video if you'd like more ideas, or the pauldrons on our other themes too.
Thank you for being so generous with your knowledge! I’ve just started out in leather crafting, really appreciate 🙏 the suggestions you’ve given ❤️ great channel! 👍🏻
Welp, I just got myself a new hobby. Thanks.* *Thanks is both completely sincere -- and happy! -- and sarcastic, cuz I already spend too much on hobbies.

wow, this was much cooler than i expected going in. actually made me a little bit interested in leather work even though i don't cosplay or anything like that and i have no use for the skill.
Loved this... and thanks for the promised going-over of the wet hand molding you do on some of the pieces! What else do you have planned for this series, and specifically, this set of pieces?
I'll be doing a number of themes and probably full suits for each and lots of general training, plus lots of custom build videos along the way as well. All time depending of course .

I was wondering what the reason was for adding the gold accent color after the assembly, instead of before?
