    Such a multi-faceted art form: from the initial digital wizardry to pattern-making, gluing, and painting. Reminds me of how medieval armor was made.

    Holly Crap! This video pretty much covered almost everything on how to make stuff out of foam. From making a base, making the template, cutting and glueing, detailing and painting. there was so much information. Thank you so much for this tutorial. Keep up the great work!

    [points at the crown] This is my crown. The source of my power!
    Thor:
    Oh, that's your crown? I thought it was a big eyebrow.

    [annoyed] It's a crown!

    Thanks so much for this awesome video! My first EVA foam experience was making the Wuuthrad axe for my daughter this past Halloween and it came out great. The templates and tutorials you guys provide are extremely helpful. I love all things skull related, so I can’t wait to try this!

    WOW! i just found a way to create something that I have wanted for several years from Bram Stoker's Dracula. The red battle armor and helmet from the beginning of the movie. It's going to be very time consuming but at least now I have a starting point. Your attention to detail is awesome! Thank you so much!

      Glad you liked it! I think I would have had more fun making the skull template base from crumpled up paper and foil than modifying my 3D model. The 3D model was super handy for the horns, though.

      Punished Props This is the trick of prop-making: matching the method to the prop. You have a lot of methods at your disposal, old school and new!

    Ive always boohood eva foam... Always worried about its lack of strength and makes me think too much of foam weapons used in larp... But i must admit this video has really switched me round... Its an amazing build

    Britt! That thing is totally crazy-awesome! :D I had to wait until bluray to see the movie, so I only just saw it the other day, and as soon as Thor slung the skull across his back I was like "Oh man, what a perfect prop to make out of EVA foam..." followed shortly by "...well, for _someone else_ to make out of EVA foam." Great build, and great video! (lol, that intro)

    Been wanting to make a mounted Troll head for awhile and was always thinking making with a wireframe and fabrics but might be more interesting to try and make the head out of foam and stuff
