I grew up using a mixed version of palm and fingertip grip (it's horrendous) so i'm trying for a change since this grip makes my aim either too fast or too sloppy while having no control over stability at all
With no prior knowledge of any grips, this is the grip i finally came to settle upon after over 600 hours in valorant deathmatch and probably just as many in the range. i had no idea others know of this since i thought i made it up!
Why does my hand automatically do this on every mouse I grip with? I do the exact same grip where only the meaty party of my thumb can hit the back part of the Finalmouse ULX competition cheetah and I can never get the middle part where my middle finger is or ring finger and pinky finger part of my palm to rest against the back part of the Finalmouse ULX competition cheetah or any mouse I grip. I’ve been using this exact same grip when aggressively claw griping every mouse I use for the last 6 years now without even knowing it.
with claw grip most players put pressure on the centre/right side of the palm, the area below the pinky. This grip uses the same muscles to aim as finger tipping. Claw grip is entirely different.
Thank you. You actually helped me I was forced to use Fingertip becouse my hands is quiet large Now im using this grip and it is way better, my fingers can finally rest now
Over many years I've come to use a variation of this, but instead of resting on the muscle near my thumb I lightly rest the back of the mouse against the muscle on the other side of my palm, the 'meat' of the pinky edge. I've found this gives me a slightly more ergonomic position by angling my wrist a little more vertically. It's a bit more akin to holding a pen than any of the other grip styles. Works really great/naturally with ergo mice too, which I prefer. The only downside imo is that it gives you a natural tendency to angle your mouse slightly inward. You can easily compensate for this though. Or do what I do and use software to offset my sensor angle.
As far as I know, the claw grip is good But I want to know which aim style should I choose if I have a claw grip Can you make a detailed video about the best aim style?
I’ve been using fingertip grip since forever I’ve always had good aim but lacked consistency even aim training a lot, I’ll have to stick with this if I want an all rounder grip
ive naturally been doing this forever because ive always had really large hands so the left side of palm is the only part that touches the mouse then i curl my my 2 right fingers on the back side then the rest finger tip
I was wondering if youd have any advice/guide on how to unlearn myself from tensing my hand / arm so much, it happens automatically and it really affects my aim and exhausts my muscles. If I consciously dont do it in a practice setting itll kick back in once im in ranked for example
Appropriate your grip, each grip has variations, i.e claw grip, you can pincer claw -- These are aggressive versions of your grip, the point of the variations is to introduce stability naturally, natural stability will automatically combat the need for tightening your grip and straining during games. That's one approach, another approach, is break a habit with making a habit, deathmatches with a relaxed grip is beneficial, as long as you're actively aware of it, almost like training your brain, keep it in your mind, "I'm going into this DM to fix my grip", and during the deathmatch, active constant reminders, 2 weeks pass by, you should've created a habit of relaxing. We prefer the first approach as this is something we will probably make a guide on.
Hi i have habit my wrist and front forearm hover when i use fingertip or claw grip unconsciously only happen if i press the mouse button 1 how i break this habit ?
claw grip usually has the whole base of the palm (not the middle) in contact with the mouse. This one is using just one side (the meaty part of the thumb) to be in contact.
Hey, is this prx something's grip? It works really well and prx something is a fantastic high sens player so I figured he'd use this grip, if not, can you maybe try to research what grip he has? Thanks in advance.
@@duff_fn In a short and video named "PRX something mouse grip", his grip looks similar to a fingertip/claw hybrid where is thenar, hypothenar and a little part of his palm is touching.
fixed some of my inconsistency once i got used to this. Before when i was on palm for some reason i started to click the mouse like a retard and miss my shot like sometimes i shot in a way you see those seniors clicking news articles though even then i wasnt bad it was that incident that messed my aim up then im still p3
What grip do you guys main?
claw

Relaxed claw

sounds like claw to me. I'd guess that your grip is not the problem but just that your mouse control is lacking. Plenty of good aimers use claw
them eyes are insane, i was gripping something else

I always used the palm grip. Never actually heard of this one before. Seems Good tho!

I always used Palm but that is sooo much better
Get yourself some good skates like i did and a light mouse, i belive a slow sens also helps

i just naturally learned to use this grip after experimenting different sensitivitys and dpis and above all just spending 4 years on a stupid game
Awesome technique! Ty
I try this thanks coach
just a regular man with a regular palm grip.
That was my main issue with finger tipping, it's uncomfortably hard to control
im working on it now and i know what you mean. gotaa really pich that thumb to lock it in and u need a small lightweight mouse
nah
@@DLOReacts can you elaborate it bro , like i am currently practicing fingertip grip
claw grip squaaaad where yaaaaalll at doe

Actually on fingertip you press ur thumb, index and pinky on the Mousepad to give it that stability u were talking about.
Index? U mean ring finger?
if bro started mewing its over for all of us
Thanks dude, I am using the mouse that smaller than my hand a lil bit so the palm grip is so uncomfortable to me, I will learn and use it this way
What do you do with your ring finger and little finger relative to the mouse?
Hi i have habit my wrist and front forearm hover when i use fingertip or claw grip unconsciously only happen if i press the mouse button 1 how i break this habit ?
hi Oblivity, Wouldn’t the tip you suggested in the video just be a claw grip? If not, how is it different?
claw grip usually has the whole base of the palm (not the middle) in contact with the mouse. This one is using just one side (the meaty part of the thumb) to be in contact.
so carpal stabilised claw?
Should I hit the back of the mouse around the base of my thumb?
Yes bro
