    I tried every sens from .09 to 0.3 and for me, I perform better on high sens. Sure, the precision from low sens feels great, but at the end of the day with great crosshair placement you really don't have to worry about it and I would rather prefer clear corners, micro adjust, and dodge flashes with ease instead. I did play CS at low sens though, but that's because precision actually mattered more and there's virtually zero verticality whereas Val has jett updash and raze sachel.

      glad im not the only one who noticed that aiming seems "easier" in valo than cs. i tried to pinpoint what exactly causes this, and i really think its just the fact that characters move slower than in cs. not always the case (running neon or something) but base walkspeed is much slower.

    I really like high sens, I switch around 400, 800 and sometimes 1600 eDPI. It's natural for me as a lazy person, I want to achieve things with as little movement as possible. I pretty much only use wrist and fingers. I find that high sens is less taxing for me because I don't have to move much.
    I think my profession as a software engineer also contributes to my high sens preference since I don't need precision with mouse movements in my job.
    b and speed is more useful overall. It also definitely affects gameplay style as well. Pros for me in-game are that dodging flashes is a lot easier, characters like Raze and Jett are easier, and I'm a lot better at close range engagements where precision doesn't matter and speed matters more, which is why I'm better at controller or sentinel agents where I can force close range engagements and I'm really good inside a Viper's pit, even when it's an enemy Viper's ult, the super close range engagements in a Viper ult pretty much just makes it a reaction test and I can outflick almost anyone due to simply playing at 2x or more than the sens of most players.
    For long range, it's definitely a disadvantage but I think it's not as bad as most people think, I think having good crosshair placement still works 90%, the other 10% might be fights you could more easily win with a lower sens but I think that's a reasonable tradeoff.

    Fatigue is a strange con for high sensitivity. I've found the exact opposite to be true (A csgo pro, Ropz agrees with this sentiment)
    I doubt Demon1 gets less fatigued than Something after aim training or playing. The sheer body movement(arm, shoulder, wrist) you're doing per flick would have to be insane for low sensitivity, whereas high-sens people generally flick around all the time for no reason because its that easy and cool looking. Imo you got that point wrong

    I play mainly warzone and cod in a controller dominated game. I use to play 800 DPI at 36 cm/360. But in my game feels like i had no chance when people use movement to break your camera. No I am at 2000 DPI 24,5-25 cm/360 and i snap better and can rotate faster and adjust. What sucks still is small recoil control and fine tracking, but with strafing more feels like that is also improving. How ever doing my Kovaaks routine i get death grip a lot, and fill fatigue even behind my shoulder blade. but in game no problems.

    One tip that a lot of people never mention when it comes to high sens is friction. Especially thr higher you go, having as little friction between your mouse and your mousepad can greatly enhance your aim. Things like skypad 3.0 or xray skates are a must. it’s easier to shoot farther targets with a lower sens but the downside is it’s difficult when closer and doing 180s think of genji or tracer, you are doing large swipe movements most of the time and it can be exhausting with a low sens. I think you should choose a sens that fits the game you are playing.

    Dont directly compare CS sensitivity to Valorant sensitivity. The ingame value of those two games are so different. S1mple has a faster sensitivity with 3.09, 400 DPI in cs, which is 0.971 400 DPI in Valorant. Zywoo usually plays with 2, 400 DPI but switched to 1.9, 400 DPI which equals to 0.597 - 0.629, 400 DPI in Valorant. So saying Zywoo uses a high sensitivity is wrong. At lower values, players move the mouse mainly with their forearm and bring it up with their wrist. At higher values, the wrist mainly works. I have a good micro-adjustment, but when it comes to turns of 60-120 degrees, my hand seems to get lost and does not understand how to move the mouse.

    I have a theory about mouse sensitivity. I believe that both low and high sensitivity are good and the pros and cons listed in this video are abstract. Just because of various factors such as mousepad size, table size, etc. first few years of aiming lay foundation for what sensitivity will be comfortable for a person in the future. For example I've been playing high sensitivity cs/val/r6 29-30cm/360 and battlefield/cod/quake 19-21cm/360 for over 20 years now. So no matter how much I want to use low sensitivity, a certain muscle group responsible for arm aim is just poorly developed. So those who are looking for an answer to what sensitivity is best - the answer is simple, one you are comfortable with. Fight enemy, not your sensitivity.

    • @3ildcard
      @3ildcard 9 месяцев назад +1

      Although i do agree that you have to use what you're comfortable with, your issue remains "skill issue". You just don't want to leave your comfort zone. For any "modern" player who uses supplement tools like aim trainers can pick w/e sensitivity. At the end of the day, just make sure it doesn't handicap you according to the game. In TacFPS i can easily get away with 60-80cm for extra precision while in Apex, although i have managed to use that range, it clearly handicaps you in close range. In Apex, you really don't have to be that precise so you can trade precision for mobility. Same in games like COD/Quake/Fornite.

      @@3ildcard Stepping out of your comfort zone for no particular reason sounds weird. If you want to get out of it, you should reflect and understand why and how it will make aim better, otherwise you will waste your time. At the end of the day, all that matters is time, how efficiently it will be spent, as well as what benefit it will bring. If you spend 80% of your time out of your comfort zone for improving 20% of your raw aim, then that 20% of your aim can be replaced by improving and practicing mechanics, learning map, crosshair placement and tactical capabilities of the game with much less time.

      @@partoftheworlD Thing is, the vast majority of players who play on default settings (which often aligns with yours cm/360) or copy their favorite pro settings are spazzing everywhere and struggle to aim big time thinking they can aim and that "high sens is cool and quirky". I'd rather spend some time figuring out what actually works than deluding myself how "it'd eventually get better".

    If you using high sens you will use only wrist, otherwice you on mid sens.
    Please stop calling mid sens as high, if someone have 2x or ever 3x of your sens it becouse that lowering sens is a fucking trend novaday.

      I agree. Using forearm would be few and far between, maybe for a full 360 or for weird aim training use-cases(But doing 360's in any fps is generally weird, especially the tac fps genre. Maybe Apex).
