Doubtful. They're not in the same place psychologically as they were 20+ years ago. I'm excited for whatever they do. Those old songs are always there when I feel like returning to them.
Kinda proud to say i talked to Billy a few months ago on this and he told me all he can do is wink and smile. he's been an inspiration as a guitar player.
Billy is a super underrated player and writer. Check his solo shit out, Ani is a good place to start, to see how he channels Depeche Mode and The Cure and takes it to another level. Love his guitar work in APC as well.
I love his solo album!! I got to see him on his solo tour also and got to talk to him afterwards! It was definitely a moment I’ll never forget! Billy is such an awesome, down to earth guy and he makes his fans feel special bc he takes the time to actually listen to them and shows his appreciation for us just like we do for him! He’s so underrated and most people don’t really know that APC is basically HIS band and HIS musical talent and style! I’ll never get enough of his music!
@@bail3yb You are gonna make some lucky guy very happy one day! Jealous you got to meet him. He is basically the only famous person I actually want to meet!
That’s amazing mate! I have actually gone TO Australia from the Us 4 separate times now. I’m mostly a rock guy but I LOVE hilltop hoods, drapht, bliss n eso, the bennies and a few other Aussie groups
Hands down every soong on Mer De Noms is AWESOME and has it's own meaning and sound....I NEED ANOTHER APC ALBUM PLEASE TOUR GUYS!!!! I want to see you all again since SESSANTA
I cannot wait to listen, Billy's Les Paul, Maynard and Carina's beautiful harmony, the legendary Les' bass, Josh Freeze drumming? Definitely a spiritual, not of this Earth experience!
Sessanta, Maynards birthday tour. A perfect circle, Puscifer and Primus all playing their own songs, playing together and swapping the stage. Should be fun
Thats cos there are like 3 years that didn't happen in the middle there somewhere.. i think. i'm not sure... There are the before times, the now times.. and the fog!
I honestly wasn’t aware of it until watching this. I would always look up Ashes Divide and never thought about looking up anything with just Billy’s name. I’m absolutely checking it out now. I love the unique soundscape he creates with his guitar.
Eat the elephant album was sort of a disappointment I mean there was some good songs on there but a lot of songs sounded like puscifer songs I wish they would make an album like their first album thats the apc i know and love
As a Christian I really appreciate it, that being said I listened to the album and left it alone, but revisited it a couple of years later. After a free listens I think it a real work of art. You have to appreciate more than screamo
Hopefully it's not 🥱 like Eat The Elephant! Mierda and 13th were great but, really, I kind of lost a lot of respect for them after a covers album, that ridiculous 360 box and Eat!? They've surely milked that cash cow til it's dry. I think that constitutes the most overhyped and fawned over band EVER for them to pull that off. They've really played the, "Maynard's on it so it's awesome" card. Bring us something with value, APC, we the people who consume deserve it! I will say that your show at the Docklands Arena in London in 2000 was one of the best shows I've been to. Also saw you guys in Christchurch town hall in New Zealand on the 13th step tour! Amazing show and it felt like there were only about 300 people there! Massive respect for hitting the South Island!
@@LimeintheCoco I thought the show was outstanding. First year I saw apc live was for 13th step in 2003. First time I saw Tool was in 2006. Go heavy like the first album!
Please GOD

Heavy lol Orestes , 3 Libras, Brena, are not heavy. There’s like 3 heavy songs on the whole album. Lol heavy isn’t what’s gonna make it better.
@@jcreature11better than the next album is the whole point of the comment..
@@manda_musings8459 the last album Maynard had said it was more for the current generation but i hope it goes harder and is mixed better than Elephant
Billy’s solo album is amazing
Yes
deezer said my most listened piece of music in 2023.
Technical he has 2.
I was surprised by the quality of that album. It is solid through and through.
technically he has 2 of em
Ultimately, this dude rocks.
So hard.
People don't even know...
I'm really looking forward to some new APC.
Mer De Noms still one of my favorite albums of all time!

This is pretty freaking cool 😎 Billy, you're an amazing talent! Wishing you guys the best on tour ❤️
Cone on man we want it yesterday. But I’ll still be happy when it gets here.
Did Billy Howerdell really just say "for what I lack in guitar ability"? Dude has written some of the best riffs of the past 30 years.
dudes a warlock- blessings billy !
He's humble or I don't think maynard would have let him live in his house 😂
What a tour this will be❣
Sessanta, Maynards birthday tour. A perfect circle, Puscifer and Primus all playing their own songs, playing together and swapping the stage. Should be fun
Hey great interview.
Can’t wait to see this show on MY own 40th up here in Michigan 🌀🌀🌀
Coming up to 6 years since Eat The Elephant was released, that’s crazy, seems much more recently
Thats cos there are like 3 years that didn't happen in the middle there somewhere.. i think. i'm not sure... There are the before times, the now times.. and the fog!
Mer de Noms and 13th Step are some of the best rock albums ever made in the history of music.
Billy is my musical hero.
I’d love to see Billy make some new Ashes Divide stuff at some point too. His solo stuff was great.
Do you not know about his 2022 album "What Normal Was"?
I honestly wasn’t aware of it until watching this. I would always look up Ashes Divide and never thought about looking up anything with just Billy’s name. I’m absolutely checking it out now. I love the unique soundscape he creates with his guitar.
@@_Ulfhednarrr it's more electronic like Depeche mode but still very Billy with his reverby guitars
Nice can't wait for this👍
Billy Is so cute and sweet 🤩💖
Sessanta was amazing. I saw the San Diego show. Best ever.
Bring me another Thirteen Step !!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolute masterpiece!!!❤❤❤
Damn, Billy doesn’t get old? WTF
Living in a cryogenic chamber 😮...
We can't wait to celebrate with everyone!
Hell yeah! The Dallas show is going to be AMAZING!!!
Am I wrong to think that Billy is very underrated. I mean his solo stuff is pretty amazing, not just APC…
Saw him in Atlanta. Awesome solo artist Ani is one of my favorite songs
Music to my ears. Literally. ❤
I'm so fucking hyped, man
It would be nice to hear these bands together.
Billy doesn't age.
Because he is a Sorcerer. 🌙🔥⚡🔮
Going bald early is an anti-aging hack.
hope we get a new apc album this year or early next
Probably the First and only time in my life i Wish i would live in the states
hopefully next record is more riff oriented like the first 2 records.
Met him on his solo tour back in 22', class act!
Got my ticket 🎫 for Phoenix show so stoked!
Phenomenal!! 🙏🏻
And the closest they will get to me is Chicago. 😥😢😭
A Complete Perfect... Primuscifer
E.P.P.P.!
I'm turning sissty years old!

Yeah, solo record tour in Europe! Go Billy.
Saw him do it in the US, it was a great show. That would be amazing if he went on tour again
@@wesleyestrella8251 The UK is positively jealous!:) Billy will tour US & UK after APC tour most probably.
May 2nd is my concert date. Excited!
Me too
Dallas tomorrow! I can’t wait

Can't wait to see Primus in two weeks, plus their openers.
LETS GO NEW MUSICCCCC IM SCREAMING

Maynard 4 Mayor ✊🏼😎
Mayornard Keenan?
With how his businesses are generating money and providing jobs... wine, restaurant, music store etc.
He might as well be... 😄
YEEESSSSS!!!!!!!

Nardo's Bday show! FUN!
It's gonna be a great show.
Loooooooove APC!
A Perfect Primus Circle Puscifer
Doesn't Maynard just need the one name at this point? Oh, and bring on the new APC. Stat.
F YES!!!!

Loved Eat the elephant
Another like MER DE NOMS...PLEASE!!!!

See you in AC!
Kindred is from the new album?? I'm so fucking excited. Especially since Billy's solo album was so good 🖤
He's HOT
Love me some maynard...
Nothing will ever be Mer de Noms….i almost made that into a T shirt once lol
The new song Kindred is amazing. Love it.
This guy was funny when he was the lead singer for Midnight Oil.
Great dance moves.
Was that Steal Away The Night by Ozz❓
Billy Howerdel is a god among men. If you want a power group, have him in it.
Will the new music be sampled, triggered, automated, ProTwelled, over-processed, loudness-maximized and hyper-compressed?
fun
Emotive is underrated.
Hopefully it's not 🥱 like Eat The Elephant!

Go heavy
Well with a drummer like Josh Freese you will be on time!!! :)
Would have been wild if it would have been TOOL , APC and Puscifer 🌀
That would be so epic.
We love you Voldemort
Mer de noms or heavier would be great!
I loved this guy as feyd in dune 2
You know you're weird..and I love it
....ya weirdo..
Immediatelybsays guitarist in MJKs bandlmao. THIS IS BILLYS PROJECT.
The top of his head is a perfect semi circle.
When you add Maynard......
He does not age visually at all
It seemed like people were expecting Opiate last time out, even though they've never been that heavy. As long as it's good...
Emotive front to back and the first two of course. Eat the Elephant was OK, but nothing close to those three
So little shampoo.
just get him an airstream
get or make a new song for the new constantine movie!
Mgk maynard GOAT 🐐 Keenan
2022 meets new music coming soon not music that’s monumental
Good cause I wasn't feeling the last album
Go hard or go home...lol
Let’s see their last was not very good. The 13th step was a great and underrated hard rock album. 💿💿
I really hope we get one more Tool album before theyre gone 😢
Fuck cares yeah!
New music meaning only 1 song. Not a whole new album people.
And it's already out. And it sucks.
@@brycehogland550 I just listened to it. And yeah, kinda disappointed. But the new Puscifer song I love.
