Looks awesome, Natasha! The scripts background takes it to the next level. U make it all appear so easy. Thank u for ur amazing personality, talent, smiles, laughter, & ur ability to show us new techniques that inspire us to create. Ur a true gem 💎!! Take care 🥰💕😘
Love this card, I love anything Santa, snowmen and Christmas trees. I love the idea that you did that stamping all around Santa. You have such a creative mind. Thanks for sharing. 🥰💕
Oh my goodness what an amazing card Natasha! 😊❤ And so many techniques incorporated into it. The script background is genius as well as the glossy accents with the sparkle glitter. Wow! You always have a gift of taking cards to the next level. My quick techniques are stenciled backgrounds or backgrounds created with texture stamps, some ink blending and a focal image in the middle. Well done as always 😊❤
This is so cute, Natasha!! I especially love how the white pencil pops against the kraft cardstock. Always love seeing how many different looks you can get from a single stamp set. Way to stretch those supplies!! 🤩🤩
I rarely have Santa around for the holidays. I figure the kids have enough from their parents, grands and others. I mostly do religion or snow related. But this Santa was really eye-catching to me. I bought it. It will be simple to color, too.
He is a really cute Santa - love the background with just the hint of glitter 🌻🌻 I haven't made a 'quick ' card yet - I'm way too indecisive 😖 but at least I enjoy the process and usually the finished card 🤣
I love your ideas for finishing a card. Of course you can color any color you wish, but the fur trim on Santa’s cap is usually white. I noticed you colored a previous card this way, too. My pickiness.
I have this stamp and he does take up most of the card front. Finding a way to finish the background without overcrowding it is difficult . But I loved the way that you did this. Perfect background. Just awesome. Thank you for this tip.
Natasha, Cute card. My Hubby & I are in the process of making 282 of the same Christmas card. He helps me cute out things & I put them together. The list seems to get longer every year, but I love it. 😊
My favorite quick card to make with kids is to use a big acrylic block and load it up with related clear stamps. Stamp with clear embossing ink and emboss with clear powder on white or light colored paper. Measure a 1/4" border (I do mine on the photocopier before stamping), then use masking (low-tack) tape to tape them to a table or wooden clipboard. Have the kids choose 2-3 analogous colors of watercolor (like red/purple/blue NOT orange/blue/green) and watercolor over the embossing. The stamps appear in the background color. Let try, then they can write on the inside of the card.
Natasha, As always your ideas look adorable . I have some things to buy before I try this , but will absolutely try it ❣️🎄 Thank you for always being so cheerful ❣️ It makes my day ❤️
I purchased this stamp set & I am happy to see you use it for inspiration! I haven’t started my cards yet, but I’m still organizing my craft room after a flood so I need to hop on it!
😢🥺💔Oh how sad. I do hope that nothing got damaged by this flood that you had. My heart always goes out to all the crafter's that has had this happen to them❤ Hope that all is well now❤
Love your card. It's amazing to see such a simple picture turning into a great work of art! All those little extras can make so much a difference. Now my mint tape does not stick has good I don't know why. I wonder if it's the difference in the temperature.
Every single time I watch your posts, I am pleasantly surprised to learn something NEW and can’t wait to try! YOU are amazing! You make card making fun, makes you feel you can do anything, and my cards come out really cute. I do use a white paste, at times for texture, but, if I need a color, I use mica, Works well. Card looks so cute. Thank-you
Thank you for your lovely video at the moment I've lost my Christmas card mojo and I send 50 and this idea will hopefully help I'm not great at colouring either ❤
If you haven't tried them, Prismacolor pencils are softer(?), anyway, they have richer colors than ordinary colored pencils. You can buy them as sets or individual colors, which is nice.
I stink at coloring so I tend to use silhouette stamps that are all filled in and use only one ink pad for the most part. What a fun, cheerful card you have created.
Super card!! Intrigued by your glitter on the glossy accent. If I were to use the stellawink on the coloured image then put the glossy accent over it, would the glitter show through? Thank you for the tip about stamping on the tape💕🐬
They looked like Prismacolour pencils - were they? Very soft, & probably a good choice for kids to achieve better results than the traditional kids pencils which tend to be harder.
Another gorgeous card. thank you! Can i ask where the link is for the Nuvo pure sheen (is it glitter?) and I'm sure i just missed it somehow. Love the effect with the glossy accents!
I absolutely love this! I love that stamp set, too. I went to purchase it when you first shared it with us but of course, it was out of stock (and I'm pretty sure it has been ever since) 😢
I can't help but wonder what it would look like if you had put the snow stencil over Santa. Would he look like he was inside the snow? I don't have the products to try the experiment. It might not be very three dimensional by just putting it on top. What could be done to show the snow behind and in front? Stencil behind on one side then stencil over Santa and the rest of the card?
Hello Natasha, I‘ll try it again: Would you please be so kind, to tell me the name of the masking paper? Or is it possible to order by you? I can’t find it.
What a stunning card. And an adorable helper
Santa looks awesome-sometimes plain & simple cards are the best!❤️🌲

Cute card Natasha. I love how you colored the Santa so simply. Looks great, thanks for sharing.
A really beautiful card. I love that big Santa.❤
Everything you make is amazing! Love your work. Thank you for so many neat ideas.
A quick background making is one way, and as you have done with the cute Santa, a large image. Contrasting colors also is another.
This came out so nice. Such a good looking Santa. ♥️

What a fabulous card. The diamond glitter really makes a difference. Ruth down under.
@Natasha Love the celebrate with the lines, suits the card perfectly.

Very cute card and thanks for the tip of using the mint tape as a mask 👍
I love using colored pencils! This is an adorable card.
This Santa card is lovely & have used coloured glitter in glossy accents for flower centres, but love the clear on white for subtle sparkles☺️
I love this card and the stamp! What a cute Santa! :)
I love the stencil you used for the snow. Beautiful!

I really like this design idea. Might give me a reason to use text stamps, which I rarely ever use.

As always a beautiful creation. Does it get cold/snow a lot where you live in New Zealand? Thanks for sharing your crafty talent. 🙏

Such a cute Santa card and a great technique for us to try!
I like to water color when I want to quickly color in.

It's in stock now at scrapbook.com - hopefully that helps you! He's a gorgeous santa isn't he!
@@NatashaFooteCreative Thank you, Natasha! I must have missed my in-stock notification! Yes, he is!! And very versatile!
Ok this was very informative! Love it, but how do u get ur glossy accents to NOT bow the paper some? Am I using to much?
