    I think the simpler the technique is and something that requires minimal supplies these are the ones that are easy to forget. Thanks for the video

    Love the distressed edge look...I use it occasionally....I find it a bit easier if you dampen the edge of the paper first.

    Hey, Laurel, thank you for reminding me of the ink block stamping: forgot that I love doing this with a round block and a couple of colours or three, then, once it‘s dry, go over the „lines“ between the colour sections with a white / black/ gold / silver pen - you get a kind of fantasy planet. Might try this for Christmas cards with some peace on earth sentiments… Kind regards from Germany, Nicola

    Laurel who is the flower stamp made by you used on the second card. I did not like that panel until you added the flower and man that turned it around for me. I love it. So so pretty. TFS.

      Me too, I need to use a stamp block again. One thing I keep thinking about doing but have never done is smooshing ink with clear packaging. It makes so much sense to see what you are doing.

    I’ve not yet tried it, but maybe the protected blade of an envelope opener would be abrasive enough to rough the edges but still be safe?? Just a suggestion…

    I love edge distressing too!! I use the inside of my mini scissors ✂️... (the part I don't cut with).

    TY for all these ideas….sooooo fun. I have a question about your glue. I use the Art Glitter Glue, but if I don’t craft for say 4-5 days then it clogs up pretty bad…more trouble than it’s worth. Does the Bearly Art glue clog as well if not used for a while? TY 💕🌸💕

    on top of wet ink - take cling wrap - wrinkle it a bit. let it dry then remove it… terrific!

    I absolutely love that you used trash to do some of these! I'm actually doing trash to treasure for everyone for Christmas this year.
    Also, you can use a fingernail file to distress the edges too!

    TEARABLE FOAM TAPE... WHERE??? Does it come in black?

      The release paper looks like it’s Scotch 3M foam tape, available in big box stores.. I have not seen it in black but you can use a black permanent marker to color the edges black.

    I love the ink smooshing technique. You can smoosh over and over to get darker colors on your ink smooshed card panel.

    I love this lady, Laurel is my cup of tea. Laurel, like me, loves colour, and I love her choices and focus on the technical aspects of the make. But is it me, I don't like the sentiment to be just whacked onto the card. It lacks subtlety and finesse in IMO.
