Haha! You said, "Water bLottle!" Seriously, though, I love all the ideas you show. You are much more ok with grungy/sketchy/messy looks than I am, but I still appreciate the inspiration and your enthusiasm!
Stencils are so easy to make with your SnC or Cricut etc too… or “manually” with a craft knife … I use the free plastic that comes in the bottom of our supermarket shopping bags to make mine 🤗 It’s quite thick and … well…. free 😂
I love using my stencils with my distress oxide inks and a gel press plate. Then I use what's left on my stencils to make another print using a blending brush direct to paper.
You are SO creative, Laurel - was amazed at how many different looks you got with just one stencil (a very cool stencil too!). Thanks also for the reminder to do more resist embossing - I always forget but the results are pretty awesome! And CONGRATULATIONS on your fabric and textile line - you're one busy lady!
Wow so many ideas in one video! I will be saving this one. I also love it that in your crafting things (like your palette knife) end up in the wrong place - touching the CS - and you just keep going. ❤
Love the instant replays Laurel! Also, love the way you 'tackle' card making, you 'score' with me everytime! 😂 You always remind me it doesn't have to be stressful and perfection can be overrated! 😊
I have been practicing using my stencils on my gel plate. Thank you for these ideas. I have some mica powders and I am going to try that. Now I will get use if the things I leave in my storage boxes
Could you do another video on using backgrounds that you’ve already created and make cards out of them? I know you have done this before but I need more….. help. I freeze when it comes to developing the card part. I love a simple card where the background shines…. More of an art card so to speak. Your thought process when you do that would help immensely. Thanks Laurel….. love your videos and cards.
Really love the video Stencils are so addictive. 😂 I made lots of backgrounds last year and still have a few waiting to be turned into cards. I promised myself I wouldn’t use stencils until I use them all. But I have done even more a month ago. So I have to create more cards. See it’s absolutely addictive to play with the stencils .
You may have already done a video on this but I have an abundance of washi tape roles I've tried to add them to my card designs but they do not stick very well. Basically been using them to take my dies downto the plates.Any ideas??
Greetings Laurel, great video showing all kinds of new to me techniques. Like how you are able to laugh at yourself or take yourself lightly. Happy Weekend.
Hello Laurel! I always appreciate videos urging people to use what they have. However, I confess that I am a perfectionist and am very willing to do MORE work for over-the-top cards! Could you please make a video on stencils, for people like me? I have used ink, paint and glitter paste with stencils. There must be more…. right? Thank you!😊
Great video!
Just LUV you for using the 'leftover' ink/paste on a card front. It is my favorite thing to do. Thanks for sharing your techniques!
Hi. Thanks for sharing this great video. It's jam-packed with info and inspiration as well as all your fabulous cards. Have a super day.😊
I love the way your free creative style comes through every time!!!

Put the washi tape down then use an embossing folder. The pressure gives texture and ensures the tape is stuck down really well.
@@jobuckmaster5842 Great idea! I will give it a try!
Some of your sentiments on your cards are so fun and funny. Like you can’t fake awesome. Where did you get those?
The Ton Stamps has a fun one. Ellen Hutson did 2! Also search "snarky" at the stamp store you shop from....
Love your ideas/thoughts ….chanel.
Problems: art block.

I have a few stencil videos up on the channel! Just go to the search bar and type stencil and they will pop up!
Where do you get the tan embossing mats that you use in the cuddle bug?
I second this question!!🙋♀️ (love my cuttlebug, my most used craft item)
I have had some for quite a while. I think they are spellbinders brand. You could probably just Google.
