The Best Group Miles Davis all the Times for me Amazing BobHipJazzHopTrumpet.
My absolute favorite era of miles ..yeah yeah i know its not a poular one but its fire to me
my favorite lineup of musicians in this era of Miles music .
One of the best Miles performances in my opinion, Robben Ford is killer, everyone is actually, thanks so much for posting!
i'm back with my PO ( personal opinion ) . this is the best video of Miles Davis late 1980's bands . the camera views and sound quality is excellent . it actually sounds like a studio album . its even better sound quality than a live album .
I just learned this exists and I love it too
Bob Irving III and Adam Holzman Amazing Keyboards congratulations BobHipJazzHopTrumpet 😊😊😊
Around 40, the Triangle....along with the drums, oh my god! What a groove, murderous, love it starts 39...something.
Robben funks along at the start then the show starts with Bob Berg and therafter. Thats what blasted me right away.
41:58 to be exactly..
"Máximo BRAVOOO!!!... BRAVÍSSIMO!!!..."...
Ce concert de Miles Davis est le plus passable de toutes ses prestations des années 80 à 90 ! En depit d'une sonorité irréprochable, les performances individuelles etaient bien inférieures à celles dont nous a habitué le musicien génial qu'est Miles !
Had that Bass, Wish I had it Now!!
Great concert! This brings Miles back to life for an hour and 49 minutes, Thanks for posting this musical miracle.
1:33:30 only just that guidance; a hand to hold it, is genius.
I haven't heard this concert in awhile, and I know it's a classic, but his sound is as good as it ever was, the band is tight and Miles's direction is peerless.
So good to see George enjoying what he loved.
Thx for the upload
Music! What a show. Beautiful Switzerland. These grooves must have shaken the Alps a good bit. Groovy!
The "Matterhorn" as well as the "Dom" are still grooving along, believe me..❤
Killer Line-up.
Pure genius
Vincent Wilburn Jr. Drums and Steve Thornton . Percussion
pinning it down and holding it tight 🥁🪘👍
Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bob Berg the Best Sax Bb after John Coltrane The Real Jazz-Rock.
Berg and Brecker
And Grossman.
Felton Crews Amazing Bassman the Best groove and Fretless Bass.
..i think Felton and Robben made this band sound like a real band!
@@paulwilliams5013
yes personally i like Fords guitar playing with this band more than Scofield's. both are great guitarists but Scofield's approach was to introspective IMO .
Magnifique. Concert d'anthologie !
d'antologia !!!!!
@@danyelle8856 SI, guapa
Geoge Duke sur Tutu ! Un must.
Excellent
inmenso...
Miles , without a doubt , you're the father of FUSION
1:33:34 Now we’ll never know what Miles said (“slowly like you’re approaching a bird”?)
RIP Dave
🙏🏽😊🕉❤️
This must be the time Cicely Tyson showed up to the Montreux gig and pulled his hair plugs out. Miles says this in his book.
Oh no, yes!
Che nostalgia !✌️
Great Miles Band…….
Felton Crews was a fine bassist. When Benny Rietveld joined the band, it lost all the funk! When Richard Patterson joined, the funk came back !!!
Felton Crews rocks in this concert.
@VictorParedes - R U kidding me???!!!
Miles’s band NEVER EVER ceased to funk. Remember that.
Absoluto!
Robben Ford. is one hell of a guitar player. i enjoy his playing in this band more then when Scofield was Miles guitarist .
We hold these truths to be self evident . that all these musicians are equal and as good as your ever going to hear .

Sure looks like Vince Wilburn Jr. to me. ?

@@kevincssmith ITS A YOUNG MUSTACHIOED VINCE
@@pgonzo98
i think Vincent Wilburn Jr playing the red Yamaha Drum set is perfect for this era of Miles Davis band . he is sadly underrated . he only plays what is essential , discarding what is not needed . he reminds me of Ringo Starr .
who is the guitarist?
Robben Ford. Alive and well has group called The Yellow Jackets, open for Clapton on tour last year.
@@1492chris : glad you mentioned Robben Ford on electric guitar . 🎸
Where's Coltrane ?
Where is Bill Evans(piano)?
He left the building about 20 yrs earlier…
You can definitely hear Coltrane as an influence in Bob Berg's amazing saxophones solos. Bob Berg was an incredible improviser who departed too soon unfortunately and John Coltrane was definitely one of his influences.
With Robben Ford.
