1:33:30 only just that guidance; a hand to hold it, is genius. I haven't heard this concert in awhile, and I know it's a classic, but his sound is as good as it ever was, the band is tight and Miles's direction is peerless. So good to see George enjoying what he loved. Thx for the upload
i'm back with my PO ( personal opinion ) . this is the best video of Miles Davis late 1980's bands . the camera views and sound quality is excellent . it actually sounds like a studio album . its even better sound quality than a live album .
I still remember how shortly after this concert began, an audience member stood up and left the room with the comment "that's not the real Miles anymore". I was a bit divided myself, because I still had the "We Want" era in my ears, which was much more experimental. Now, almost 40 years later, this phase up to the end is for me the most brilliant and accomplished. Creative energy to the point of total ecstasy.
Around 40, the Triangle....along with the drums, oh my god! What a groove, murderous, love it starts 39...something. Robben funks along at the start then the show starts with Bob Berg and therafter. Thats what blasted me right away.

You can definitely hear Coltrane as an influence in Bob Berg's amazing saxophones solos. Bob Berg was an incredible improviser who departed too soon unfortunately and John Coltrane was definitely one of his influences.

Music! What a show. Beautiful Switzerland. These grooves must have shaken the Alps a good bit. Groovy!
The "Matterhorn" as well as the "Dom" are still grooving along, believe me..❤
Майлс Дэвис бесподобен! На трёх клавишах труб выдавать такую гамму звуков! Гений!!!

my favorite lineup of musicians in this era of Miles music .
One of the best Miles performances in my opinion, Robben Ford is killer, everyone is actually, thanks so much for posting!

Miles , without a doubt , you're the father of FUSION
It's a trip, I used to see photos from all of these concerts in Down Beat or Jazz Hot, now they're all online
It's crazy. I hope it sparks a revival.
Miles N.1 ever and ever....❤

Bob Berg the Best Sax Bb after John Coltrane The Real Jazz-Rock.
Berg and Brecker
And Grossman.
Следует отметить гитарист супер И очевидно Майлс это учел!!!
Robben Ford. is one hell of a guitar player. i enjoy his playing in this band more then when Scofield was Miles guitarist .
This must be the time Cicely Tyson showed up to the Montreux gig and pulled his hair plugs out. Miles says this in his book.
Love this!!!!!
Che nostalgia !✌️
Great Miles Band…….
Felton Crews Amazing Bassman the Best groove and Fretless Bass.

Felton Crews was a fine bassist. When Benny Rietveld joined the band, it lost all the funk! When Richard Patterson joined, the funk came back !!!
Felton Crews rocks in this concert.
@VictorParedes - R U kidding me???!!!
Miles’s band NEVER EVER ceased to funk. Remember that.
Oh no, yes!
Absoluto!
