Hey I have a 2018 chevy silverado 1500 5.3l ,and just got the borla exhaust Touring on my truck, and I also have the weather tech front and rear lines, and the front and rear Mud flaps and the bed rug to..and I checked out the play in the Pedal ,and yes you are right it is there
Tell me more about that set screw on you gas pedal. Did you add that with a rivnut or was the threads and screw already there? It's raining and cold out so I cant go look at my truck right at the moment. Update - I just put a long cap screw with an allen head that was slightly larger than the hole and as I screwed it in it went in nice and tight cutting its own threads in the plastic. I did not want to put it too tight against the fire wall. It took care of about 95% of the movement as it still flexes a little on the opposite end towards the console. Is yours like this also? Never even thought of this until I watched your video.
Yeah there will still be a little flex since the piece is plastic but the screw does help a lot. Check out the other videos in the series for more mods.
I checked the forums for the issues of flex but all i could find was guys wedging paint stirrer behind it. I could not bring myself to do something like that so I decided to do the set screw. Also the hole is not tapped you must do it yourself but seems to be the proper size to be tapped.
How did you lower the rear suspension by removing the blocks? I don't want to add the leveling kit for the front. I heard bad things about it reducing the life if the CV's. I just use the truck around town so I don't mind losing a few inches in the rear.
The blocks are in between the rear axle and the leafspring. By removing them it drops the body/frame of the truck down 1.25”. There are other videos on youtube that details exactly how to remove them, just search “rear block removal on Chevy/gmc truck.”
Nice truck ! Get yourself a oil catch can for the engine. It will be save you lots of headache down the road . Do some research online about them 👍
Nice mods. I ended up reprogramming the computer to keep it from going into v6 mode. Love the cover! Very clean look.
I have also tuned out DOD, check out my other two videos 2018 sierra mods 2 and 3. I just uploaded the 3rd one yesterday
awesome truck!
Thank you!

I prefer the sound of a Flowmaster Super 44 over the Borla…. Nice truck !! Mines in Quicksilver Metallic. Love it.
Great set up you got there boss , whats the link for the bed cover on your truck?

Where did you get the cover and liner for the bed? By the way, trucks super nice 👍🏽
I believe it was real truck dot com
Rear inner wheel liners is a must up north
Was that hole already there and tapped before you put the set screw in? Also, is that something you found yourself or read on one of the forums?

Nicely done but next time should add in the prices you paid for those upgrades
No way, I wouldn’t want my wife to stumble upon those values 😜. Be sure to check out the rest of my videos on this truck for some real Mods.
the only way you add "cold air " intake is by adding an inner cooler. other wise its not cold air.
Yes i agree, i have since taken it off as featured in my second Video. ruclips.net/video/uDr-FckMlgc/видео.html

You could also use drop shackles if you prefer
