    Hi Daniel I don't know if UV is different but "resin art by Lillian" shows that you colour the stamp first and then places them on the mould, then pours resin and once cured she peels the stamp off ready to use again. I was going about it the wrong way. I was making a mould of the stamps and then pouring resin and colouring the resin. So much work I could have saved if I saw her video first.

    Have you tried chilling the sinker colors? Or the resin before adding sinker then heating? Very curious to see what happens. I've heard many comments along the line of ~ it's cold/hotin my casting room today or it's rainy so I don't know how well it's going to work~ maybe you can address this for us beginner's. Most of the channels I see only care about getting comments instead of answering or showing us. Sure wish I had enough funds to help you out so I could get the extra content. Love ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ your channel

      @@daniel..cooper oh cool…. Well what I was thinking of doing was to do a layer, cure it on the heat pad, do another layer and cure it enough on the heat pad that I can pour one final layer but let it cure by itself overnight… because I'm afraid if I do too much all at once, I will get a flash cure and things will not go well…

    Hey Danielle, Do the alcohol inks from Michaels fade in sunlight ???
    And if so is there anything I can add to my resin to make it more durable to the UV rays ?
    Thank you for your time !!
    Love your work, Keep up the good work :)

    • @daniel..cooper
      @daniel..cooper  Год назад

      Hi, I haven't tried those inks yet. You want to look for a resin which has a UV protection, this will slow down and filter UV rays unlike others, it will not stop fading completely but will extend the life considerably. Hope that helps.

      Thank you so much for the info !!
      I have 1 more question for you ?
      Are their some colors that I should never drop near or on top of when I'm doing my art ?
      And I hear Alot of people talk about and use this Pinot in their molds ?
      What is the big hype with this color ?
      I was thinking about using whale siemen instead of the Pinot ?
      I will let you know what happens ok... JK
      LMAO !!
      Thank You for your reply, I appreciate any help from a Master Alcohol Resin Master !!
      I will show you my work here really soon. I would like your critique on it. I just want to know I'm on the right track and not wasting gallons of resin like an idiot ya know......

    I was wondering if you can make a video on making custom keycaps with the same method you use here.
    I have tried your methods but when you press the [ + ] on the resin is squeezes out the ink and messes up the cells.

      Are you using uv resin? I haven't a mold to make a video on these just yet. UV will do that as alcohol inks and UV resin do not mix well.

  • @leighwalker4348

    I'm not really one for blobs, but those are really cool! Do you think letting the resin thicken before adding the Pinata would cut down on blobs and still give you the nice spores? Love your work!

    • @daniel..cooper
      @daniel..cooper  Год назад

      100% as shown in #22, allowing the resin to thicken will slow down the Piñata. 😊😊😊. This is where the seesaw of resin viscosity and timings make and take there place. I just hope this is educational and viewers check out these tests I have made 🥰
