To me all 'failures' are masterpieces Daniel remember that sir. 💜👑
I stamp into a versamark ink pad first to protect my stamp and the mica sticks to the details of the stamp beautifully Thankyou for the inspiration
I have a lot of stamps, never realised I could put them in the resin. I haven’t made any cards for ages so it’s a great way for me to use my stamps. Thanks for experimenting with these and showing us Daniel. I think the tree looks awesome in all of the moulds you did, even the one you said was a fail. I love your channel and videos. Thank you so much.
TBH you said you made a mess but I really like that piece as well, looked like watercolor :) great job on all of them!
Many many possibilities 😊💕
Wonderful
Beautiful 😍
Love this idea! Thanks for experimenting all the failures and pressing on to this one! 💖
Thank you so much 🥰🥰
I have used stamps for 25 years or more....you can use your finger to gently tap the powder onto the stamp... or perhaps use permanent ink onto the stamp and stamp cured resin. allow to dry. and perhaps another layer of clear resin. you'll get a sharper image that way
Thank you.
THANK YOU! I have so many rubber stamps, now I have to try this. Thank you for inspiring all of us, you are such a blessing.
Another great tutorial! Thank you!
Wow that's amazing. Who would know you could use stamps I am going to try this
Omgeee I adore this, thanks so much Daniel, I have loads of rubber stamps I can play with…thank you for not only the trail and error tutorials but for the constant new inspiration! I love the idea of making coasters🤩🤩
Brilliant!
Btw,BTW, CAN FIND GREAT STAMPS AT THE $STORE. I want a nobbaly bit tee shirt lol 😆 awesome job 👏 🙌 👌 😎 😄 👍
Intéressant 😊 l'arbre de vie je valide 😉
I heard your name being mentioned on another resin channel Daniel. I thought that was great and worth mentioning. All your designs and creations are brill and I also love how humble a person you are. It's lovely to see someone remaining the same, no matter how many subs they aquire. Best wishes for Christmas & new year to you and yours.
Thank you :) Happy New Year Deborah :)
@@daniel..cooper Thanks Daniel and to you too.
Where have you been all my life? You are capturing everything I have ever wanted to do.
Stunning as afways
Thanks so much 🙏
Wow beautiful I love ❤️
I thought it turned out great!! Cool idea
I have loads of these stamps Ty for the inspiration 👍
You are so welcome! 😊
Maravilloso, Gracias por compartir tus éxitos yerros, así se aprende¡
Amazon has ink stamps galore!
I love this, just found your site today. Thankyou so much for sharing, you are very much appreciated for showing these videos.
You are so welcome! Thank you 😊
Love this idea. Even your mistake looks good to me. Thanks for sharing
Works to put mica on ur finger and then on the stamp...I've also stuck them down to mold then poured resin...then peel the stamp out afterwards....so many possibilities!!!
Awesome, thank you for the tip (pun not intended) 😂
I’ve found this or brushing it on then putting in mould before adding resin taking out stamp then pouring into cavity stamp made.
Love this idea! ❤️
Very cool
Nice
Watching some from before I subscribed.
I really liked the one you didn't. Thought it had very ethereal qualities. Mystical.
This video is going into my library.
Awesome, thank you! 😊
I have so freaking many of those paper-crafting stamps and this is a great way to use them! Thank you for this! Great idea!
The trunk of the tree came out well! It almost looks like a little fence surrounding it. Awesome idea, thanks for exploring it.
Really pretty.
Thank you 😊
It's beautiful Daniel
Thank you 😀 Great idea and looks cool.
You’re welcome 😊 Thank you 😊
Thanks so much for your video. I tried this yesterday was a complete failure, jst seen your video!!!!will try what you did & hopefully it'll be fab. I got some stamps that have funky flowers & i got some borders.
Thanks so much.
I like the first reject you showed. The tree looks like it's full of crows. Really cool technique. I think you could also place the stamp at the very beginning and then add resin. When you demold, remove the stamp, then dome the piece.
Put a mirror under your mold when curing the uv resin. It cures from above and below simultaneously. Such a pretty pendant!❤
Brilliant idea! I can't believe I haven't heard about that tip before 😏 unless your creative brain birthed it🙃 lol but regardless, thank you for sharing that fabulous tip!
A white surface would work equally well
I use Stayzone inks, you can get many different colours, but loving your mica powders, and the iridescent effect that it gives.
Great idea 💡!! Thanks for inspiring other crazy ideas in my mind! 🤪
😂😂😂 always welcome 🙏
I have a fairy one I want to try
Great Results
Thank you! 😊
I thought the 'failure' just looked like a tree in leaf. Great stuff.
wow this is so wonderful, coming from someone that has loads of stamps. Now I will have to go through them and check out what to try first. Thank you for this imspiration. Fantastic idea Daniel!!
I would suggest, because I've seen other creators use stamps, using the lotion to "seal" the stamp, facing up, on the bottom of the empty mold. The lotion would just be a thin layer on the stamp to seal the back and keep the resin from getting underneath. Then you can use regular resins. Then just dome the back.
And if you use a stamp block to press the stamp into the micas... you'll get a clean "inking".
Just a few thoughts.
I love the way you always experiment, and subscribed to see all your great ideas, especially because they make me think of different ways to resin! 😁
Oooh! I LOVE the effect you were going for with the Northern Lights! I look forward to THAT video!
Amazing effect!!
Thanks for sharing your ideas!!
🤗
Very welcome 😊 Thank you 😊
First time visitor. Just a suggestion....clean, clean moulds please. Bit of OCD here.
Thank you for your videos. This really helps the newbie’s.
Each one gets better !
Thanks Carol 😊
You can put your mold on a mirror n the uv will cure top n bottom at the same time
I love the different ideas you have come up with. That is a great way to add mica powder to the stamp. ❤
Ok, that turned out really cool… it looks, like a shadow is behind the tree…
Yay, thank you 😊 ☺️
I love the first one uou don't like lol, I think its beautiful
I love it
Toujours plus beau !!!! Superbe , merci Daniel 🥰❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks as always 😊
Omg ❤Daniel this is awesome. Thank you for showing us how to do it
I make junk journals and I love love love this idea! I have lots of stamps! So much fun! Wonderful idea!
Thanks 😊
I just started junk journaling!
@@jeccap1 - Have fun - endless possibilities :)
I use nail stamps. And also nail stickers. Sometimes both, together!!!
Love it!! something different. The tree made a very nice pendant for certain....Thanks for sharing your talents as always Daniel....
Thank you 😊 always very welcome 😊
Waw😱 😍😍😍
Thanks 😊
I do the embossing straight on cured resin and hit it with the heat gun to activate the embossing powder.
Oooh, I need to learn this!
@@daniel..cooper Honestly, it would be right up your alley.. They have embossing ink pads but they also have embossing ink pens. Since you are a true artist with your UV portraits, this would be another trick up your sleeves to add dimension and texture. You are so very talented and it is fun to see what you come up with. 😊
Beautiful Work Daniel! Thank you for sharing! I am ready to try this!
Thanks 😊 Very welcome 😊
Very nice, thanks for the tutorial and the idea. 😊👏🏻
Thanks Gulma, hope it helps 🥰
That is really cool! I love it! That's a new trick I will have to try!
Thanks as always Lisa 😊
This is so cool. You have the neatest creations. I love your tutorials!
Thanks 😊
This is a fantastic idea, never thought to use stamps with resin! I’m gonna hafta dig those out of my storage now! I really liked your purple one, even though the tree was floating, because you get the shadow of the tree when you hold the piece up to the light.
That is so cool. Now I need to add some stamps to my shopping list. Thanks so much for such a neat idea. 💕😊
Thanks Joalla as always 🥰🥰
That’s so pretty, great idea
Thank you 😊
How pretty! Love it!
Thank you 😊
Fantastic idea! I'll definitely have to try this! I have a ZILLION stamps. TYSM Daniel!
Very welcome, thank you 😊
Thanks for this! This is amazing and now I can use my stanps in another way! So cool!
Very welcome and I'm also going to use them as actual stamps in the right way 🥰
Always up to a new way to do things, aren't you? I've seen some others working with stamps in resin, but not this particular way. Great info, a s I have lots of stamps to play with. Love to you and the Mrs.
Yay, thanks Pam, hope all is well 😊
So creative! Great idea, Daniel
Thank you 😊
Great idea using ink stamps thanks for sharing that Danial love the video 🤗
Thank you 😊
Got loads of stamps will be giving this ago thank you for sharing 🙂
Thanks Tracey
I really like this! And thanks for doing some UV stuff, I don't use it for much but doming. It's nice to see different things with it!
Thanks Leigh 🥰 I need to do a video on doming soon 😊
You can use the stamp as an insert. It works well that way, too.
Love this. U can also use nail art plates and polish on the resin. There r tons of videos on how to do this. That way you aren't so limited. Because those designs r small. Happy crafting.
Thanks, yes, will be trying plates soon 😊
Thanks
Very welcome 🥰
And thanks so much for the Super Thanks Kym 🥰🥰🥰
Daniel this is brilliant, I have plenty of silicone stamps. Thank you for sharing this technique ❤
Thanks Maddie as always 🥰🥰🥰
I took a clear coaster I made with resin and I stamped versa mark ink on it. Then I sprinkled embossing powder and tapped the excess off. Then used a heat gun to set the embossing powder. Then domed over this. Worked perfect.
Awesome 😊 Thanks for the tips! 😊
WOW!! that's gorgeous! Beautiful silhouette! The black mica actually looks like dark silver! LOVE. THIS. ❤
Well! I seen a lot of folks use the rubber stamps in resin, but never would I have thought to press them down onto a thin layer of brushed-out (squashed!) mica powder. You are BRILLIANT, Daniel! 😊👍❤ Gotta go get me some stamps!
Thank you 😊 it took me all week to work out where I was going wrong 😂
My stamps are on their way! I surely appreciate your working so hard to show us how it can be done w/o tearing our hair out! Hope you have some left! 😅
very beautiful. I was wondering if the stamps could be used as inlays. Thanks again
Shien has stamps at 90% off (around a dollar and less for some) and I just bought a bunch for resin but I never thought to use them like this. I’m so excited to try this, it looks absolutely gorgeous! Thanks so much!!! ❤❤
Oh wow, I thought that was a clothing company!
@@daniel..cooper - no they have silicone molds and lots of other resin supplies. When they have a sale it can be pretty great!!
@@krislee1403 I must check them out, thank you 😊
I find using large tweezers to place pieces in a mold is more reliable than my fingers. :) Once I got used to using the tweezers as fingers, it was a snap.
@dankrol60 ?
Love your experiments and expertise. Such fun to watch. I want to try cutting boards for Christmas. What resin would you recommend? I would like them to be usable if possible. Thank you for sharing your talents
You want to search for a food safe epoxy 😊
Excellent! For me, the black running slightly up the trunk looks like a shadow- night is falling, after all! (Just what I needed Daniel; yet another technique of "endless possibilities"...not!!)
Thanks Liz 😊
That's it, I'm raiding my mam's stamp collection! 😂
😂😂😂
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Those stamps do have handles ye can attach to them. Makes it easier to remove the stamp.
I didn't have any handles in mine 😔
👏👏👏👏👏👏😍❤
Love the video. I'm in the u s. The stamp link isn't showing the same set of stamps.. any ideas to search them out? I just joined as a member, so excited!!
Hi Carol, thanks for joining 😊. I searched for either "seasonal ink stamps" or "Christmas ink stamps"
LOVE THIS!! Glad you stuck with it. Try, try, try again ;) Will this only work with Silicone stamps? I have a TON of rubber stamps! Do you think rubber will cure into the resin?
Rubber stamps may be more difficult, if you have small ones, give it a try but a mold release spray may be best
Make silicone inlays first from them push them into mold bottom mica them then pour resin
I think if ya want to do more than 1 color on a stamp try using an eyeshadow sponge stick thing (🤦 I don't know what else to call it) I think any other sponge would be too big. If ya rub it n2 the sponge on a piece of paper n tap off the excess. It shouldn't get on anything other than the bits that stand up. Just and idea 😉
Love this, could make a rainbow tree 🌳 😍
I have so many stamps to try this with. Could you stamp with inks somehow?
❤❤❤ I appreciate your video but was thinking we could use ink as well ,what do you think Daniel..
Possibly, worth a small attempt 😊😊
I find that the word banner is covering what you are doing.
The word "Banner"?
Hey… try mixing just a hint of uv resin into the mica powder before using the stamp and see what that does! Might be able to use different colors on the same stamp? Thoughts?
I tried that but it seeps into the cavities and blurs out 😔
@@daniel..cooper well, I was thinking that when you did it you may have pushed the stamp down to hard in with the mixed resin… I’m thinking that if I’d you put the stamp on the top of the mica resin mixture, hold the stamp with tweezers… just barely place the stamp down so that the ridges capture the resin… then lift the stamp straight up… don’t turn it over… level it facing down so ya the resin can’t slide down into the groves..l then give the stamp a quick blast of uv light to freeze the resin… then you can flip it over and cure it with the light as you usually would… I would mix the resin and mica powder on a silicone mat instead of using the mixing cups… that way the mixture can be spread out and not be as deep as it would in the little mixing cups… you would then Be able to control which part of the stamp you are attempting to color each time… does this make any sense? Or am I just mental?
