thanks for the vid man, sitting at dummies testing around just now and I have to say once you get used to mindflay and sear as a button missing and you start using mind spike more between your DPs and void torrents it does feel smoother to play, contrary to what I believed it to feel since I rly loved Mind Flay. I think im gonna try out VE in my 21 keys, hope its still the play, I feel like DA without Mindbender feels so weird to play with those 2 cds not aligning + having dots tick longer through voidbolt is rly a nice addon
Which is also a reason I "cannot" play affli lock. Too many "dead" buttons. But I love the shadow, so one button is okay, I just have to remember to use it, because animation wise there is no difference

I have found deathspeaker is pretty strong at the moment getting a huge amount of insanity regen and getting out a lot of dps for shadow ap it was my second highest dps on live servers with no tier set, i was getting about 6 procs at a time and using jt on low health mobs and spamming dp I didn’t take void torrent or anything in that line but took mindblast damage +40% i was holding around 200k per pack
I feel like it is doing way more damage then void torrent paired with void form on big packs you have dots up on everything and having 12 second dps out increasing mindblast damage by 40% and spamming deathspeaker felt really nice I went down yog and nzath and picked up the crit damage before nzath everything was just chunking 40% increased crit damage along with 40% mindblast was big and felt like I didn’t even miss out on pressing void torrent at all
Also feel like it’s not realistic at all to play without void form as much as I do like the other option it’s just not viable and you can’t keep dots up on huge packs not worth it at all unless you aren’t pulling more then 8 at a time
Really going to miss mind sear, absolutely loved that ability. I've been going between classes this exp because they seem to be dumbing down every single comp. seems almost mindless playing some classes.

My opener with it has been to Halo, shadow crash, dark ascension, mindgames, mind bender, PI, DP, MB, MB, Torrent, MB, DP then mindspike procs etc on live, obvs no mindspike insta procs now, but could cast both stacks out of last DP
Yes, you want to make sure your prio target has all 3 dots, keep Mind Blast on CD and same goes with SWD. Otherwise its simply just doing ur ST rotation so keep VT on cd, mind games etc

I dont get it. Im doing the rotation, am 419 geared with a 2 set bonus, stacked on haste (mastery is a bit less) and im doing between 50-60k dps... and on aoe packs maybe 105k. Is this ok or should it be higher?

Even a simple shadowy rework of frost mages little icicle shots would do, anything other than literally nothing

Why use a mouseover macro for SWD instead of just enabling mouseover casting in the options?
Because you can make a mouseover macro for any spell in the toolkit then put that macro to a keybind, click casting is very limited
