In my experience you absolutely should press Mind Spike in AoE, it buffs up with the set bonus to get even bigger Mind Blasts and saturates C'Thun procs. Not doing this is a much bigger loss than the 1% you mentioned. If you go an entire AoE pull even with these talents you will lose overall damage. I'm not saying it's a lot, but just wanted to correct some of the information here. There is simply no evidence that you shouldn't press Mind Spike, you should weave it in, even with the set bonus.
I've tested this build thoroughly and it shows on paper and in practice up to 5% overall damage loss in both sustained cleave and overall on top of the single target loss. It feels like you are condemning Mind Spike just because you aren't weaving it in properly. If you do cast Mind Spike more you will see better results with it.
can you link your 4 set weakaura because the shadow discord just tells me to not play around it and im not good at making my own weak auras
Do you spread dp or tunnel into 1? Outside of cds really.
Also, in vf don't you still want to torrent with 3 dots for ire buff?

been using your build since launch and even on lower dungeons its rare that im getting beat on meters whether its small trash or the boss and thats usually by people who have a solid gear advantage. pugging with it is absolutely fine unless youre going in with 4 other people who are really geared. Its also really good in the situation where youre the most geared as the dps output is going to have you doing 30%+ overall.

@@norcom4103 one thing I forgot to add on the last comment it can be quite fun to use that build in epic bgs as well during the first big clash or on the bosses it’s usually top of meters.

I kind of would either like shadow crash 2 charges or hit all enemies. Or even hit up to 10 enemies.

wouldnt lariat be good again in 3-4 weeks when we get sockets for everything?
ir certainly could regain its former glory, but you'd need one of the new sparks to upgrade it to 447 and that would be a waste right now with no sockets, could be down the line tho
I upgraded my lariat to 447 and it kept the 3 sockets. Am I missing something here
@@josephpoole3942 The duration is now based on howmany total sockets filled on your gear. 5 +1 sec per gem.
