Hope you guys enjoy the video. I have gotten a few examples that I missed here, Demolish(well I knew, I just tought getting bigger was even more Warrior like, ME BIGGER ME SMASH) a better view of Engulf for Flameshaper Evokers to mention a few. I asked in the description of the video if there was something I missed, so asking again: If I missed a very cool visual ability from the Hero Talents, let me know in the comments:)
for frostfire mage, you could have shown the passive where it drops the other element's equivalent of the spell you're pressing. It's really cool seeing these big meteors + comets etc coming down while you have a bunch of frost or fire spells launching at them.
@@Griemz Thanks for your feedback! Totally get the idea, what I wanted to show is one special thing from the tree itself, like Frostfire Bolt is a visual from Frostfire only, while you comet storm and meteors from the specs themselves. It's not to say that having all those burst visuals are amazing, but not what I wanted to show here. Though if I were to make a more proper video about each Hero Talent tree I would definitely show more of what you write here. It is great for sure!
It's actually not that surprising, they probably divided the labor (which is smart) just like they did in Legion, but because of this it means a lot of teams probably gave heavily varied attention to detail and design philosophy. Example using Legion : Every class during Legion got a class mount. Death Knights received 1 mount that changes color depending on spec. Not very cool of Blizzard. On the flipside, Paladins received 4 mounts, so they not only got 1 more color, but they can ride whichever color they want regardless of spec... that said, Paladins got a horse and DK's got a unique undead dragon. But then you have the Shaman and the Mage who got the same exact treatment as Death Knights, 1 mount that changes color. Hunters get 3 mounts that are slightly different shades of brown. Nobody rides the priest mount for a reason, look it up. And Warlocks got 3 colors of very cool awesome looking demonic horse that they can ride regardless of spec. The Monk campaign is all about making beer. The Death Knights got quite literally the best storyline overall in all of Legion that played very very nicely into future expansions, ... well except Blizzard kinda just cut all the story threads from Legion to nothing, and the fact the person reading this probably can't tell me more than 1 class story from Legion is proof of that. Anyways, my gripes about Legion aside, the class order hall mounts (and artifact extra appearances), and class campaign significance, are all clear examples of Blizzard dividing the labor between little groups with very different ideas of what makes their players excited. This is just more evidence of that imo. Also as a side note I don't like one of the dark ranger changes. They're updating Dark Rangers to fit more with WoW's version of Sylvannas but the black wing tendrils are Diablo 3 demon hunter shit that they just tacked onto Sylvanas in BFA, so I don't like it. (everything else is cool I just dont like the wings)
@@DoffenGG absolutely. I feel sunfury for fire mage is such a huge win. Thematically as a blood elf. But visually summoning a phoenix with my combustion makes it just that much more exciting to press beyond having constant crits!
08:51 This effect is actually the worst. The yellow glowing eyes ruin most transmogs and cover your character's eyes and face. For example, I have to play Archon in M+ now because these eyes don't go with my red-eyed Darkfallen at all.
I can see it that way yeah, when it messes up the rest. It's just a minor thing really, I had to zoom in. Its neat in its own way, but nothing you notice a lot.
if only this video existed two weeks ago i wouldn't have wasted so much time testing and fighting my demons to pick a main and want to try everything. from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU !!!! is just the video i needed.
Same. It confirms that visuals and class aestetics are VERY important for players. I hope blizz will develop that more. Dark ranger for hunters will looks better And I wanted to main rogue...nope thanks
Yeah, I did mean to have this at least a week ago, but it just took so much time to put all together. I almost have to learn all specs again just to not miss anything :p But it do seem that I missed a couple of them, but the list should be quite accurate though some is taste of course.
Good video ! Visually, I think that the best are : S (Perfect) : DK, Priest, Warlock A (Good) : Hunter, Monk, Shaman B (OK) : Evoker, DH, Mage, Paladin, Warrior, Druid C (Meh): Rogue
honestly, i'd put priest at A... yes, shadow is S, but archon doesnt really have unique visuals (its just halo multiple times, not new just more frequent) and oracle's is pretty subtile if you're zoomed out and not looking at your face.. still good but hard to notice a lot of the time.
I'd put DH in Meh with rogue. I was really hoping Abyss Gaze or whatever it's called would be a huge visual enhancement over regular Eye Beam, but no, it's exactly the same. Could have made it red or something, anything, idk.
I hate them... their AI is so wonky atm, they will just go apeshit and aggro anything within a mile radius givwn the chance. The amount of crazy as moments i have had in M+ due to one of the horsemen deciding to pull every pack withing visible range is absurd....
Aside from maybe the Horseman DK, melee got the short end of the stick. Some ranged are pure bless, or carnage, but the melee usually just meh. Even DK-s , the horseman just do some minor stuff visually, but at least they are there. Maybe paladin close second in melee, but its a bit meh too. Those falling hammers just cannot be seem during combat
Agree that melee mostly got it worst, and I guess its more natural to do some visuals to classes that do casts etc because that is a better visual to begin with, while melee is more; We hit stuff with weapons, but even then they could easily make visuals for even that. Like paladin is shiny from before, same with Demon Hunters. They could make rogues and warriors do the same tbh. Warriors could get a fireblaze on their attack or a sub rogue could get shadow weapons with glowy shadowy effect on their attacks. Small things like that could get hero talents more exciting. Just not as small as paladins new hammerfall :p I am gearing up my DK for m+ right now and I am a Frost Deathbringer. The scythe attack and effect is satisfying in every aspect, and more melee should get that treatment.
@@DoffenGG I aggree, and melee must be heck of a time to develop interesting abilities that actually feel like you do something, especially with non magic classes like warrior and rogue. Interesting to say that before the Legion ability revamp I never felt that my warrior lacks something . We had bloody effects on us while hitting a CD (cant remember which was it) we were shouting left and right, and the "basic" animations bled right into the racial ones, which created something unique to every race. After Legion, every warrior just did the same, and maybe 1 ability used the old racial animations. We lost many cool looking abilities and were just homogenized.
Monks must be pretty happy, conduit is probably one of the coolest abilities in tww and shadopan feels so good to play and the sound the proc makes is so good
This is a great video for seeing flavor (or lack of) in the different hero specs. Since this is supposed to be an evergreen feature, I hope they continue to update visuals for the more lackluster classes.
Hi:) Glad you like it! I do also hope and think thats the plan. They now have the time and ideas to further improve the Hero Talents for all, especially the more lacking ones to see of they can make each hero specs more distinct visually.
Hey, thank you! Yeah, I am trying to make them fit. Like, I was uncertain by the priest at first, but the more I listened to it, the better it got. It starts gloomy just as when Beledar is in void, and Shadow Priest is void-themed, then it brightens up and we end up at the Light before it gets a bit serious in the end, because is the Light that great? :-) I also do love the Hallowfall theme a lot:) Music is important to me, and I do love the music in the game, so I want it to be good. So I appreciate the feedback a lot!
Thank you, appreciate it:) I did do use a lot of time on this, but it was also an opportunity to learn more about all the hero talents so it was very educational :)
Oracle gets a full trigram Draenic halo glyph like Velen at all times in combat, adding a glyph for each unique premonition buff you use. Its not just the glowing eyes + third eye
Yeah, and if I were to make a full video with only priest hero talent I would have showed more of it. But its the essence of it represented here, together with the shiny visual at one of the Premonition cast.
Hahahaha wtf Blizz! Warrior: 'I'm a colossus now, a goliath of immense scale!' Game: You have grown 10 centimetres. Meanwhile Warlocks with a full ass pit lord: 'Sure buddy.'
id say slayer warrior is pretty cool visually, you get lower cd on buffed bladestorm, big execute damage and you have reap the storm which is a like mini bladestorm that makes you spin once (it procs off of rotational abilities). Also slayer strike is a passive proc which also has a unique visual. Colossus needs a rework though for sure
Yeah, the idea is super, and some of them are super, some are allright and some is really nothing. Hoping them improve some of them, but its really fun nonetheless:)
Rogue, warrior, DH are the worst. Can we all agree? I'd say hunter too, but new Dark Ranger looks insane (only for elves with a bow tho lol) Druids too? But I personally like the thorns. Personally I got very disappointed with stormbringer, was expecting a tornado ability like Thralls, but instead we got this tempest which looks so... basic.
Rogue is the worst by far, DH's doesn't get much from the Hero Talents, but warriors I would say is mid. Slayer is not much, but Mountain Thane is pretty cool actually when using the whole lightning arsenal. But druids yeah, the potential is huge imo, and they didn't deliver.
Warlock: Open a rift so a Pit Lord can shoot a fel beam from his glaive into your enemies. Rogue: Coinflip Warrior: Set Object Scale 1:1.05 Nah but jokes aside, I hope Rogue and Warrior get some better visuals. I know they are the low fantasy classes but when the best VFX they got between the two of them is a large coin flopping out of your body that's a big bummer. As a long time rogue main they could add so much more to them without making them too overwhelming. The coins have an "edge" proc which is not visualized by the coin actually landing on its edge, and they have a row flip mechanic that also isn't visualized in any interesting way (i would add a 2x symbol but that's too arcade-ey for WoW). Trickster could add some smoke to their procs considering its supposed to be the smoke and mirrors spec or quick completely visual teleports like Blade Dance for DH has. And Dealthstalker could have shadow clones for some of its procs just like Subtlety does currently.
Hehe, the warriors think I did them dirty, and I did somewhat. But it's not much special except a triple attack and the lightning. I thought the height was cool though, silly yes, but cool. Agree that rogues and even warriors could get some more visual love. Your trickster ideas are nice, I really hope they give them some love like your ideas!
Engulf gets a more dramatic animation the more it heals. So if you have 4 HOTs on someone it will do a big fiery explosion. I wish the explosion was just the default but whatever life is pain anyway.
Yeah, you are right. I've said it before, it didn't actually proc on the two targets I got, so I missed that Consume Flame effect. But it is also worth noting as you say, Engulf is nothing on its on, it should have been base imo. Its a Flameshaper, should behave like it imo.
the quality between these is wild, couple of them make you feel like you got a new artifact weapon, reliving the class fantasy of Legion, while others are so insignificant you wont even notice them. Speaking of Legion comparison, it's weird how there's no story justification for any of this, just a single level up and there you go, no cool class/order hall revisit, or some important character of your class contacting you, the expansion feels incredibly half-baked.
Its a good idea that they could make a little quest attached to each for sure. Just a short quest line then you are done with it sort of thing. I do really like The War Within, but they could, and I do think they will further improve on the hero talent abilities and visuals in the time to come.
hope they keep updating visuals like they did for dark ranger hunters, some specs are good and other are well... like rogues lol whole point of hero talents was to unlock class fantasy visuals, so far barely hit the mark
Yeah I don't get how you can have void weaver which looks amazing and then pack leader which ....is just there..... Come on blizzard... All hero talents should feel amazing to play and look at.
I thought it was going to be a very involved feature but in reality it's just a minor extension to regular talents with no real story implications or really anything.. Miss the days in legion when class fantasy was arguably at its peak
Rogue's actually do have one new visual you missed, it's their animation locked combo. People complain about the lock, but it actually looks pretty badass. you should update this
You know I tried so many things, I actually used most time on rogue to find something that is cool for each hero talent. But I'll look into it and do a little redemption bit for rogues. Thanks for the feedback!
Good video, though I think you REALLY underselled Templar Ret Paladin by not showing wake of ashes followed by Hammer of Light. For Ret it really feels like a triple combo strike with an awesome finishing move.
Hey, appreciate the feedback! I'll have that in mind when I make more similar stuff. I might have missed some combos from the Hero Talents from some classes, though it is meant to be more of showing one good visual ability/proc, but again with more knowledge on my side in the future I can make more of an overall view of a spec+hero talent to show how it looks overall.
The rogue team keeps doing the bare minimum and gets away with it. Consistently! I'm fed up with whoever has their hands on the rogue (and DH, it's the same inept guy) over the last period.
RiP rogues visuals, you'll never be forgotten (if you had any at any point lmfao) However, warlock diabolist are and will always be top tier due to fking dominating prime demons and a pit lord, what a hero talent tree! Same goes for mages, frostfire bolt casting visuals on character's hands is really good, same for splinters that spawns as spellsligners on both frost and arcane and al'ar spawning as sunfury is lit
Agree with that! Poor Rogues, Mages overall pretty good for sure. As you say the actual cast of Frostfire bolt is awesome! And diabolist must be the perfect Hero Talent tree.
@@andybanan1992 Yeah, definitely a point that. But they could make some really cool attacks with it. Like Death From Above or made an attack like ambush just with a lot of purple flash/smoke swirling around character. Small things like that is making a big difference:)
I really wish that blizz leaned into client-side only spell effects so you could see your character doing some seriously cool shit without everyone elses seriously cool shit blowing your screen up (or maybe introduce a slider that lets you set a frequency for other players big spell effects to show)
DH when you go full blast in Fel-scarred there is eyebeam then 2 blasts, meta, 5 blasts right after each other making loads of explosions. Waaaaay better.
Demon Hunters looks good from base, so its hard to actually pinpoint any actual improvement from the hero talent, but gameplay wise its a wild ride for sure. There isn't anything different from the base abilities, but of course seeing more of it is an improvement in itself.
The had an opportunity to give Demon Hunters a ranged demon form mode that looked like the original Warcraft 3 Metamorphosis ability. Instead we got ....this.
i think both DH and rogue are kinda rudderless rn. most classes have a designated lead designer for their class trees/hero talents, but rogue and DH don't currently have anyone running the show. it's why both classes design feels so clunky and flawed rn, theres no one passionate about their specs working on them atm
@@Asyipyip Really? I thought there was a designer that was in charge of both DH and rogue, did he quit? Either way, he was doing a really bad job, shoehorning tons of movement and glaive toss mechanics into DH, and rogue just being an over complicated mess (Assassination rework is nice though).
Nothing comes even close to Rider of the Apocalypse. I think all Heroes related to some kind of summoning are looking the coolest, Diabolist and Farseer now with armored ancestors are pretty cool as well.
Diabolic ritual. For the first time since tbc, i've abandoned demonology for destruction. Finally i can be a demon summoner without abandoning the chaosbolt-soulfire gameplay, which i loved.
@@mrnekrell15551 as a Destro main I don't like Aflli, cuz their spec is boring and I like Demo, cuz having the literal army of demons is away too fun. Now as a Destro I have an army of demons and they even add a new demon who throw Chaosbolt with you, that's fucking perfection, I absolutely love it.
@@SogoNotDrunk Yeah for our specific cases, Diabolist hits the spot perfectly. Yeah i don't like Affly either, is more of a visual thing, curses don't have the same appeal visually to me. When the reworked demonology came out for legion i thought i would have liked it but most of the time is just an army of imps flying in T pose against an enemy. I'm happy i can play again a summoner more similar to the demo/destro mixed warlock from wotlk.
Engulf has been such a massive letdown on my evoker. I will say for chronowarden the most beautiful ability is a dreambreath with the 4 chronoflames also coming from it i think.
Hi! Yeah, its my bad actually, I was going to show that one but it seems it did not proc off properly so its not a proper way of showing it. I took Engulf as it is the ability to proc it, but I should have done a bit more research there. Learning by doing :-)
They should really work on making it so that all your death knight companions don’t stack in one spot. It always looks super immersive until you actually get into a fight
I play pack leader, it’s solid, but I don’t pick beast of opportunity because it has the same functionality as Call of the Wild which summons the same pet if I only take 1 pet from my stable, I wish it was random, if it became random it would be a worthy pick
Yeah, definitely would be an improvement to have different pets from the PL talent. I tried to find another visual impactful ability on Pack Leader too, but of course it is kind of lacking there. But its not a Trickster Rogue, could have been worse :-)
Its from north at the military part of Azj-Kahet with the elites and in the new raid. Also here: ruclips.net/video/yqbHXvj4-IA/видео.html | First song:)
It's Fierce Gladiator Silk Armor PvP, last season of Legion. This is Alliance version, Horde one is red:) Recolors of the Tier 21, Antorus. 12 marks of honor from Lieutenant Surtees in Dalaran and its yours^^ My bad, I thought of the picture, or was it the armor when showing the abilities? If so that was the Void Elf Heritage.
Rogue got screwed over man. I main rogue for the last 15 years. All I want is 3 abilities back. Death from above, burst of speed and the ability to sprint over water again.
Same, really dig The War Within, but Hero Talents can be worked on to be more unique for each one imo. Some are great, some are mid, and some are not good at all.
RIP Rogue and DH. Makes sense when you realize they're developed by the same guy.

I would prefer that Herald of the Sun had no effect than those silly ones they do right now. The beams could be made better, the dawnlight "crown" too. I would remove the beams and make it just an aoe debuff if they want to nerf it. Diabolist is by far the best, if they ever get rid of those hero talent trees, the diabolist passive should be integrated into Demonology, it makes it so much better visually.
For frostfire mage you only showed the new frostfire bolt which is only 20% of the new animations. You forgot the frostfire barrier, comet storm/meteor, living bomb icelance and the frostfire icicles.
Bruhh, all the good new warrior abilities were left out, Demolish for colossus has a pretty awesome animation, and slayer has slayers mark and a mini-bladestorm proc too.
If I were to rank the whole Hero Talent spec among all 39, Slayer would bottom 5. You really have to dig stuff out of that talent tree to find an impactful visual. And for Colossus it is 50/50 between Demolish and 5% size. I went for the unique one. Not everything is about big flashy visuals, often yes, but the smallest change(pun) can be as valuable. Next hero talent video is going to be about Warriors. This time everything will be in as I chose just one thing from each in this particular video.
As a pala main, i honestly couldnt be happuer, well exept lightamith being quite meh, paladins are already such avisual spectacle, we really didnt need more visual clutter, hammer of light has a very pleasing sound effect, and the falling hammers afterwarda is a nice touch, and dawnlights visual wigh the beams makes it subtle yet very distinct.
So much missed opportunity with having some cool looking graphics.... I feel blizzard seems afraid to go big with spell animations.... I bet that's because of competitive play.
Deathbringer was the first one I did on the beta, and I was like wow, every hero got something like that?? But the truth was, it is very varied. Some is very cool, while some are very lacking.
Demolish isn't very special, and this list might not be accurate, but the size thing is funny so I took that instead. Lightning Strikes for MT is more visually impactful than Demolish, and as a Warrior you already have several smashing abilities while the height thing is unique. And funny.
@@DoffenGG You telling me the three hit combo and the damage text timing with a slash slash SLAM ain't badass? Honestly it feels like it perfectly encapsulates the spec fantasy of building up to a big devastating blow that [demolishes] the target and hits the ground so hard it shreds anyone unfortunate to stand near by. Idk might not be flashy but between the mechanical build up and a payoff that FEELS like it hits like a truck it's been by far the most satisfying hero talent I've played with, when so many other defining hero talents in your list are passives. But you're right the size + damage buff talent is funny and dumb.
@@FawkesDrox Sorry, I did not mean to discredit Colossus/Demolish in any way, I do understand that it feels satisfying. And I did have it as my choice in this video, but then we have warrior right, its a bit SMASH DIE and then we have a silly talent that has an awesome name and a kinda cool, not impactful maybe visual effect, but me warrior big and strong effect. I do agree that Demolish "should" have been on the list here, but I also want to put myself into the video, so I ended it with that. It's me in a nutshell really. I do like the small silly, funny bits :)
@@DoffenGGAll good it's your video didn't mean to come in criticizing when it's your content you're sharing with me, it was great getting to see all the other specs I'll not really get to play with and you kinda got me keen on levelling my priest for the crazy halos now I just really really like Demolish compared to a ton of other the other big defining starting hero talents and it's absence was something I couldn't let go if it convinced someone the hero spec was boring when I think it's one of the best they've designed by a wide margin although I'm biased since my Colossus Arms Warr was my story progression character and every chance I got to swing cut SMASH a pack of mobs to extinction was the most fun I've had with the spec since I started playing arms back in MoP
@@FawkesDrox Totally understand that. And its not that Demolish is boring either, the gameplay is not considered at all here, it was more an artistic way of ending the video as I really think the height talent is both fun and the name of it is the best talent name of them all. For me Demolish feels satisfying too, just the same as I think Rampage was always satisfying with its animation. And to be honest, I have played Warrior way too little the 18 years I have been around. This video also teached me a lot of things as I have not played many of these in some years. I had all the classes in Legion and played all of them and had the time of my life, but latest years I have played maybe 4-5 on a regular basis. So it was really nice to just dig through them all and see whats out there. And, its great to see you defending the class/spec/hero spez as you do. I would have done the same. Though it is funny with 5% bigger character😁
I've never played a Warlock. But after seeing one rip the fabric of space and time summon a PITLORD to OBLITERATE THEIR ENEMIES, how can I not play one now?
Yeah, I will follow the Hero Talent and visual updates regularly, and I will also make more nuanced videos from more classes in the times ahead and later on as well:) A list like this will always have a personal touch to it, but when you can make a video of the whole hero talent it gives a better view on how it looks and play.
Diabolist!!!! Its a perfect demo warlock summoner (p. S. So sad about hunters HC talents, all 3 trees not for my sniper gnome with gun... Dark ranger? Sentinel?
it still fells that blizz hadn't have enough time for all specs till addon release, honestly speaking, cause some are amazing in all hero versions like warlock and DK, and then you have my main druid, as laser boom moonklin.. maybee oke... but as tank or feral boring af, same with hunter the bm effekts are ok... but nothing special, dark ranger is better now than before but still a little underwhelming, from my first opinion they really need to work on some specs and classes cause they don't feel like a lot had changed
I do hope this is the thing, that they now have more time to change it up during the expansion and the following ones, now as the initial stress is over.
Bro you did warrior dirty lmaooo Didn't show flagship ability for colossus, didn't show the sound effect for slayer strike (sounds cool af while playing tbh, and procs often with high haste), and didnt show the actual lightning strike for mountain thane
A visual Flagship? Demolish is a rampage +. Sure I could have taken that, but bigger warrior ended the video nicely. I like those kind of things. This is showing visuals, so sounds are not the focus. But thats a good idea for another video. Warrior excell there. And the first thunder clap(the very first hit was Stormbolts, also a visually cool talent) I did proc a lightning strike. Its kinda showing how weak it is visually when it procs once per Avatar three times when I recorded it. So did it with Thunder Blast to get more omph. If anything I did Mountain Thane a favor. Thanks for the feedback, it do make me take some notes for further improving my videos. I heard the Demolish feedback from two others as well, so I take that as lesson for later on. If thats what warriors wants, then I will think of that. But, ME WARRIOR, ME BIGGER! Is a fun flavor thing:)
why does it seem so off balanced? come classes get crazy visual/gameplay changes. while others just got more damage on buttons they already have, or even a random proc that you don't control and your gameplay never changes. surely they saw a problem in that while designing these right?
Because author of the video decided to compare individual talents, not whole talent trees, which he also chose arbitrarily. Example - coolest part of the Sunfury spec is not a summonable chicken, but a barrage of meteors, fireballs, fire strikes that you unleash - it looks incredibly cool when you do it. Or Colossus signature thing is not a size increase, which is a passive talent somewhere in the tree, but Demolish - an active channeling ability, that while not looking much, feels really cool to use in combination with your rotation. This video is just a low quality bait - while it’s true that some classes, like Unholy DK, got an amazingly cool looking abilities, and others abilities don’t look as cool, gameplat wise the majority of the specs are enjoyable to use
I know, more warriors has said the same. Demolish is fine, but personally I think that the highlight is bigger size and the talent name is really warrior like. It was a fun way to end the video. As for Demolish, it's a three-hit attack. Reminds me a lot of Rampage(which is my favorite warrior ability visually) I did write Demolish in the script, but changed it all the way in the end. I think the height thing is fun, its not much but its unique. So unique that I thought Warriors would like that. But doesn't seem like it :D Lesson learned I guess :-) I might do a quick redemption video of warrior hero talents soon ;-)
Demolish is just a rampage +, extra size is superior! No really, I just wanted to end the video at a silly thing. Demolish was the ability I was supposed to use, but then I noticed the height thing. Its more a "creative" touch than anything else.
Priests are simply the visual winners of WoW. I wish I played priest more to, especially holy as it is super shiny! Shadow as Voidwalker though, awesome! Its going to be leveled up faster than I initially thought before all this! Instead I go around and shoot grey arrows from a bow made of wood. Yay. 😄
Hope you guys enjoy the video. I have gotten a few examples that I missed here, Demolish(well I knew, I just tought getting bigger was even more Warrior like, ME BIGGER ME SMASH) a better view of Engulf for Flameshaper Evokers to mention a few. I asked in the description of the video if there was something I missed, so asking again:
If I missed a very cool visual ability from the Hero Talents, let me know in the comments:)
for frostfire mage, you could have shown the passive where it drops the other element's equivalent of the spell you're pressing.
HOw are you not gonna Demolish with Colossus, not only is it a unique animation, it MACKS.
warlocks get to have their souls consumed by a great demonic power to obliterate anything in their path and rogues get uhh a coin
Lucky coin eh..
Not strongest or even op trees tho, Hellcaller is literal a garbage imo, Diabolost like medium and Soul Harvester is a pure op, but not for Destro.
@@morgle3811 toss a coin to your rogue, oh valley of plenty

Who cares about rogues tbh class is trash anyway
Bombardment. The animation of another dracthyr flying and trowing pyres is awesome. The sound effect to. Feels like a real bomb.
Bombardment is really cool!
It is crazy how little effort some classes/specs got.....
Yeah, we need more proper visual distinction for the Hero specs!

Me: "Can I please have Death From Above back for normal use?"
Blizz: "Best I can do is a 240p coin flip."
Haha indeed, I did love using Death from Above on my Combat Rogue main in WoD !
Such generic icons. Old school WoW \ WC3 icons were much better. Telling, vivid, and simplistic at the same time
Coin From Above 🥲
if only this video existed two weeks ago i wouldn't have wasted so much time testing and fighting my demons to pick a main and want to try everything. from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU !!!! is just the video i needed.
Same. It confirms that visuals and class aestetics are VERY important for players. I hope blizz will develop that more. Dark ranger for hunters will looks better
And I wanted to main rogue...nope thanks
Yeah, I did mean to have this at least a week ago, but it just took so much time to put all together. I almost have to learn all specs again just to not miss anything :p But it do seem that I missed a couple of them, but the list should be quite accurate though some is taste of course.
what did you decide on?
Warlocks definitely won with visuals with Priest being a close second.
Good video !
Visually, I think that the best are :
S (Perfect) : DK, Priest, Warlock
A (Good) : Hunter, Monk, Shaman
B (OK) : Evoker, DH, Mage, Paladin, Warrior, Druid
C (Meh): Rogue
Thank you
honestly, i'd put priest at A... yes, shadow is S, but archon doesnt really have unique visuals (its just halo multiple times, not new just more frequent) and oracle's is pretty subtile if you're zoomed out and not looking at your face.. still good but hard to notice a lot of the time.
I'd put DH in Meh with rogue. I was really hoping Abyss Gaze or whatever it's called would be a huge visual enhancement over regular Eye Beam, but no, it's exactly the same. Could have made it red or something, anything, idk.
Amazing how the four horseman look when they ride alongside you! Only to stack on top of each other when they attack 😩
Yeah, a tad annoying that. I have sometimes they stack two and two on two sides, but stacking a bit much indeed.
I hate them... their AI is so wonky atm, they will just go apeshit and aggro anything within a mile radius givwn the chance. The amount of crazy as moments i have had in M+ due to one of the horsemen deciding to pull every pack withing visible range is absurd....
my thoughts exactly
Just not as small as paladins new hammerfall :p
I am gearing up my DK for m+ right now and I am a Frost Deathbringer.
Awesome video! Just wanna point out that your choice of music for each class is fantastic and thematic!
:-) I also do love the Hallowfall theme a lot:)
Music is important to me, and I do love the music in the game, so I want it to be good. So I appreciate the feedback a lot!
I love the effort you put into this video, like when showcasing the historic armor of the shaman ancestor spirits
mega respect
Thank you, appreciate it:) I did do use a lot of time on this, but it was also an opportunity to learn more about all the hero talents so it was very educational :)
My favs:
1st : Death Knight
2nd: Warlock
3rd: Priest
4th: Shaman
rest meh or okish~
great video ! loved the fact that you found fitting music for each classes (monk on top and thats on god)
Thanks a lot! Love wow music, and Watchers on the Wall is soooo good
Oracle gets a full trigram Draenic halo glyph like Velen at all times in combat, adding a glyph for each unique premonition buff you use.
Meanwhile Warlocks with a full ass pit lord: 'Sure buddy.'
now now.. warlocks arent that powerful... its only half a pit lord..
@@milanopiano It is wrong, the new warrior talent is missing in this Video. :/ But at all a great Video!
id say slayer warrior is pretty cool visually, you get lower cd on buffed bladestorm, big execute damage and you have reap the storm which is a like mini bladestorm that makes you spin once (it procs off of rotational abilities). Also slayer strike is a passive proc which also has a unique visual. Colossus needs a rework though for sure
@@Psychodetektivкакой
Hero Talents have been really fun and engaging for the most part. I know there are outlyers, but Im loving most of them.
Yeah, the idea is super, and some of them are super, some are allright and some is really nothing. Hoping them improve some of them, but its really fun nonetheless:)
Rogue, warrior, DH are the worst. Can we all agree? I'd say hunter too, but new Dark Ranger looks insane (only for elves with a bow tho lol)
Druids too? But I personally like the thorns. Personally I got very disappointed with stormbringer, was expecting a tornado ability like Thralls, but instead we got this tempest which looks so... basic.
Rogue is the worst by far, DH's doesn't get much from the Hero Talents, but warriors I would say is mid. Slayer is not much, but Mountain Thane is pretty cool actually when using the whole lightning arsenal. But druids yeah, the potential is huge imo, and they didn't deliver.
As a DK, I gotta say: We Slay!!
Warlock: Open a rift so a Pit Lord can shoot a fel beam from his glaive into your enemies.
Rogue: Coinflip
Warrior: Set Object Scale 1:1.05
Nah but jokes aside, I hope Rogue and Warrior get some better visuals.
Monk's Jadefire Stomp is my personal favorite forever.
What makes this insane is this is supposed to be an expansion feature. Yet some of the hero talents are so bare bone it's an embarrassment.
They could do better on some imo. Some are great, some really lackluster!
The coolest animation for pack leader is when you pick it in the talent tree
True :D
the farseer shaman change is such a minor one but adds so much flavor
Exactly the way I see it. Perfect flavor:)
Flavah :D
the quality between these is wild, couple of them make you feel like you got a new artifact weapon, reliving the class fantasy of Legion, while others are so insignificant you wont even notice them.
After the Legion class halls, the characters should be the very epitome of their class with unique tricks up their sleeves.
I like how good look and new looks the icons and not the same recolored ones
hope they keep updating visuals like they did for dark ranger hunters, some specs are good and other are well... like rogues lol
whole point of hero talents was to unlock class fantasy visuals, so far barely hit the mark
Same! I am looking forward to the continuation as Hero Talent as concept is really cool. Just have to deliver on it now...
Whats the song starting at 1:50ish/ the Druid music? I feel like its a revamped version of one of the night elf zones; loved it
It is Song of Elune from the vanilla soundtrack. One of my top 5 favorite songs from WoW :D
And, they get the worst transmogs in the leather category.
RiP rogues visuals, you'll never be forgotten (if you had any at any point lmfao)
However, warlock diabolist are and will always be top tier due to fking dominating prime demons and a pit lord, what a hero talent tree!
I just don't get why the eye glow on hellcaller has to just be 2d jpgs that float in front of your face lmao
@@kabrozkabroz 😄
Well, i mean rogues shouldnt be flashy tho, they are after all... rogues...
@@andybanan1992 Yeah, definitely a point that. But they could make some really cool attacks with it. Like Death From Above or made an attack like ambush just with a lot of purple flash/smoke swirling around character. Small things like that is making a big difference:)
I really wish that blizz leaned into client-side only spell effects so you could see your character doing some seriously cool shit without everyone elses seriously cool shit blowing your screen up (or maybe introduce a slider that lets you set a frequency for other players big spell effects to show)
Gotta love Herald of the Sun Paladin.. because the first thing that comes to mind after hearing "Herald of the Sun" is a bunch of glowy ropes.
Yeah, at least there can be up to 4 glowy ropes! :P
@@Hekk. It should at least compel the target to speak truth.
This is the video I was looking for. Thank you!
My pleasure :D
DH when you go full blast in Fel-scarred there is eyebeam then 2 blasts, meta, 5 blasts right after each other making loads of explosions. Waaaaay better.
Demon Hunters looks good from base, so its hard to actually pinpoint any actual improvement from the hero talent, but gameplay wise its a wild ride for sure. There isn't anything different from the base abilities, but of course seeing more of it is an improvement in itself.
Ok not bringing a priest around, damn hero talents looks like a dungeon mechanic.
Haha yeah, MOVE OUT OF THE VOID CIRCLE!!!!11
The had an opportunity to give Demon Hunters a ranged demon form mode that looked like the original Warcraft 3 Metamorphosis ability. Instead we got ....this.

Thank you! The song is Watchers on the Wall :) Brilliant song!

Whoever worked on DH and rogue need to be fired and replaced asap
i think both DH and rogue are kinda rudderless rn. most classes have a designated lead designer for their class trees/hero talents, but rogue and DH don't currently have anyone running the show. it's why both classes design feels so clunky and flawed rn, theres no one passionate about their specs working on them atm
Yeah they all are awesome! Rider and Diabolist are my top 2 favorite personally:)
I really enjoy my Exterminate spell. Kill so quickly ennemies,so fun to watch 💙
@@opheliebell22 especially if you have Scythe of the Unmaker transmogged, you are literally Argus.

Diabolic ritual. For the first time since tbc, i've abandoned demonology for destruction. Finally i can be a demon summoner without abandoning the chaosbolt-soulfire gameplay, which i loved.
Yeah, the winner really, Diabolist is close to perfect.
@@DoffenGG best passive ever created. I don't really know how it could be improved honestly.
Unholy got a lot of love it feels really good to spawn the squad and gang on ppl
ImFiredUp's 250+ arcane splinters firing at the boss obviously wins this.
All other spellslinger mages look a bit boring compared to that ofc.
Yeah, agree!
Hey mate ive just come across your channel and checked out your stream vods and was wondering how you hide friendly names in raid ?
Hi pal :) You hide it/show with ctrl+v ^^
A lot of those Hero Talent Icons should just be what the regular class looks like.
Rare opinion, but I kinda like the little coin animation of Rogues Fatebound.
The coin is fine ye:)
What is the music playing for the DK? (start of video) I realize it's a blizzard tune, but I am not sure what it is.
Its from north at the military part of Azj-Kahet with the elites and in the new raid. Also here: ruclips.net/video/yqbHXvj4-IA/видео.html | First song:)
I think there are too many passives in the game, it's often difficult to really comprehend what's going on in your dmg profile
What's the mage's armor set?
It's Fierce Gladiator Silk Armor PvP, last season of Legion. This is Alliance version, Horde one is red:) Recolors of the Tier 21, Antorus. 12 marks of honor from Lieutenant Surtees in Dalaran and its yours^^
My bad, I thought of the picture, or was it the armor when showing the abilities? If so that was the Void Elf Heritage.
Rogue got screwed over man. I main rogue for the last 15 years. All I want is 3 abilities back. Death from above, burst of speed and the ability to sprint over water again.
All good things!
i love this expansion but this needs more work, its such a huge thing now in the game, hope they dont leave it like it is rn
Same, really dig The War Within, but Hero Talents can be worked on to be more unique for each one imo. Some are great, some are mid, and some are not good at all.
Is it me or it is super obvious that the illustrations for every hero talent spec was made with AI? Look at the archon and the herald of the sun ones
I reckon AI is used more and more, also by blizzard, but if its used here I dont know^^
I have a feeling some of the more dull spells will be updated within the expansion lifecycle...
Yeah, I do think they will do some changes eventually. Its to much for a gap between them atm.
It's like they ran out of Rouge spell animation ideas after Roll The Bones, genuinely surprised there's no Pirate archetype.
Would really like more pirate stuff, I guess they tried something like that with Fatebound, but the coins are so and so :P
For frostfire mage you only showed the new frostfire bolt which is only 20% of the new animations.
You forgot the frostfire barrier, comet storm/meteor, living bomb icelance and the frostfire icicles.
Yeah, I was showing one for each, not all of them. So the one I think look the best:)
All fellow Paladins crying in corner......
We have literally no visible effects on those.... Most disappointing one ever.
Yeah its not much unfortunately
As a pala main, i honestly couldnt be happuer, well exept lightamith being quite meh, paladins are already such avisual spectacle, we really didnt need more visual clutter, hammer of light has a very pleasing sound effect, and the falling hammers afterwarda is a nice touch, and dawnlights visual wigh the beams makes it subtle yet very distinct.
Which one is your favorite? And what Hero Talent is your main?
Voidweaver
scale commander is pretty hot. mass disintegrate and bombardments, mmmm... plus controllable deep breath :O
Yeah, Scale Commander isnt so bad, love bombardment!
Voidweaver is awesome!
Diabolist
So much missed opportunity with having some cool looking graphics.... I feel blizzard seems afraid to go big with spell animations.... I bet that's because of competitive play.
I do hope they have some sort of a plan for the future. We need more...
Poor San’Layn… they really dropped the ball on it
I hope they fired whoever was in charge of rogue (hero) class design. It is a disgrace.
I know the animation may not be great but my fire frost mage is kinda cracked lol
As well as my monk and pally hehe
They look pretty good yeah:) Monk is nice, Frostfire casting animation is great, and paladins are generally shiny :D

Here I was thinking every class got a cool ability like Deathbringer. I was wrong
Deathbringer was the first one I did on the beta, and I was like wow, every hero got something like that??
But the truth was, it is very varied. Some is very cool, while some are very lacking.
What about Tide sages?? 😢
Pretty darn disingenuous not showing Colossus' Demolish ability ngl
@@DoffenGGAll good it's your video didn't mean to come in criticizing when it's your content you're sharing with me, it was great getting to see all the other specs I'll not really get to play with and you kinda got me keen on levelling my priest for the crazy halos now
I just really really like Demolish compared to a ton of other the other big defining starting hero talents and it's absence was something I couldn't let go if it convinced someone the hero spec was boring when I think it's one of the best they've designed by a wide margin
although I'm biased since my Colossus Arms Warr was my story progression character and every chance I got to swing cut SMASH a pack of mobs to extinction was the most fun I've had with the spec since I started playing arms back in MoP
Thats what I tought!
might need make an update of this vid after patch 11.05
Yeah, I will follow the Hero Talent and visual updates regularly, and I will also make more nuanced videos from more classes in the times ahead and later on as well:) A list like this will always have a personal touch to it, but when you can make a video of the whole hero talent it gives a better view on how it looks and play.
@@DoffenGG awesome
Diabolist!!!! Its a perfect demo warlock summoner
Bro you did warrior dirty lmaooo
Didn't show flagship ability for colossus, didn't show the sound effect for slayer strike (sounds cool af while playing tbh, and procs often with high haste), and didnt show the actual lightning strike for mountain thane
This video is just a low quality bait - while it’s true that some classes, like Unholy DK, got an amazingly cool looking abilities, and others abilities don’t look as cool, gameplat wise the majority of the specs are enjoyable to use
hero talents have to be in Top 3 most disappointing WoW expansion features of all time, Blizzard outdid themselves this time
Bro you are doing Flameshaper dirty by not showing the big aoe explosion on Dev.
DK's get the FOUR HORSEMEN. I get a lightning bolt.
Sorry xD
You didn't show the active Demolish for Colossus, my fav 😢
Don't mind me; I have to go console my rogue-character
Poor druid 3/4 were lackluster
This video is the definition of 'you vs the guy she tells you not to worry about'. Some of these are just SAD
1. DK
2. Warlock
3. Pala
Colossus got Demolish, why is it not on the video?? 😒
Demolish is just a rampage +, extra size is superior!
No really, I just wanted to end the video at a silly thing. Demolish was the ability I was supposed to use, but then I noticed the height thing. Its more a "creative" touch than anything else.
The priest effects are so cool! Makes me wonder why I’m still playing a druid 😅
Yay.
😄
Highmountain Theme 🥺😍😍😍
Its beautiful
