I mean look I fully understand that but I disagree with Charlie here. You can absolutely have your own boundaries no matter what, but saying that "it's normal to not wanna call because you just met an hour ago" is a bit out of touch. Texting is a very recent thing and people used to talk to each other when they first met. Again, fully agree with the dude having his own boundaries but Charlie's approach was a bit off the mark here.
@@1tubax Most people text. I don’t even like calling with my friends i’ve known for YEARS. Calls are awkward, especially with someone you just met. Over text, you have a chance to read the text and formulate a response. His take was not out of touch at all. Maybe you prefer face to face communication or calling, but a lot of the population doesn’t.
Absolutely same on calling vs. texting, so as a man, my brain cannot comprehend this. So this guy fancies a woman who seems to be interested in him, and she seems like she'd much rather text than talk over the phone...and he sees this as a PROBLEM? Mate, that'd have been the absolute JACKPOT for me, back in my dating days!
To clarify, it's a needy, lobotomite GIRL named Sadie who's messaging the guy we're getting the perspective of. Charlie and half the comments just got everything mixed up.
8:08 it says "Sadie took a screenshot" and then they post the screenshot, the desperate person in this chat is a woman. At the end of the conversation, the narrative is "You took a screenshot"... the plot thickens.
Yep I think you're right. Charlie says "she took a screenshot of chat and then he dumps a screenshot as well" But it's obvious that it was the other person, not the person who we are getting these logs from, that took the screenshot and sent it. They even said "right at the top" after sending the sceenshot in reference to the beginning of their conversation where they said they are watching a movie with their parents and will call later. Charlie kinda just glossed over it by saying: "He says 'right at the top'" and then moving on but never addressed what that could mean or what the screenshot the supposed man sent was. It's quite clear that "Sadie" is the blue text and the one who took the screenshot and then sent it in their chat, not the person who posted the logs. So either they are both women, the man is named "Sadie" (unlikely), or the person who posted the logs is actually a man and the person begging for a call is the woman. I'm gonna guess they are both women, just from the way the OP/poster of the logs types but they could potentially be a man, who knows.
@@jayk5114hey just wanted to respond and say that they most likely said ‘right at the top’ because that’s how you call people on Snapchat- i assumed that anyway!
I learned the hard way, that if someone doesn't respect your first no, then they never will. No means no. "I'd rather not", "I'm busy right now", "I don't feel comfortable" and MANY other things also mean no!
Or you could just send a Pic within an hour or call after the movie to prove your not a catfish. It's not unreasonable so no need to take it as a red flag.
@@MrWizardGG No means no, period. Doesn't matter if turns out to be a catfish, even if they turn out to be a catfish it's not your fault. If the person pushes or tries to get a "yes"(in this case do what the dude wants ie call or send pics) out of you when you said no then that's a red flag.
The person providing the screenshots IS NOT THE GIRL, the girl is actually the blue text one. You can see at 8:18 , it says "Sadie took a screenshot." If OP was the one who screenshottes, it would just say "you took a screenshot."
the girl isn’t the blue text one lol look at the last message it says “you took a screenshot” it just means this person also took a screenshot. this isn’t hard 😂
@semplybalanced3210 Because the person is claiming it is not female, as if females can‘t be creepy and that guys cannot be harassed or preyed on. We live in the 21st century and that is simply false. Promoting this archaic mentality doesn’t help.

My theory is the guy wasn't even expecting anything much further and was a creep that was looking for the smallest crumbs he could get. Usually these guys know what they're doing but don't care to go scorched earth as long as they can have anything from a girl that they can fantasize about later
I’ve seen these conversations. These are typical ways 12 year olds respond in a chatting conversation. 12 year olds or little children can’t cope with not getting stuff they want and start weeping.

@ayesaac I've met a few guys named Sadie, doesn't mean much. However assuming genders here is weird since it could be two girls, two guys, or a girl and a guy.
@ayesaac People went for the "creepy guy harrassing girl" narrative because that's the pronouns penguinZ0 presented, I do wish people tried to keep it gender neutral but I think it's the content creators responsibility to not misgender [no offence against him but it really could've avoided confusion].
Saw another comment pointing out that the person the poster is taking to is "sadie" if you take a screenshot in snap it just says you (not your name) took a screenshot Examples: 8:17 (sadie) 10:38 (you) So the gender of the other person is most likely female (just to create a clearer image of what happened)
@@_b_e_a_n_s_ "I'm never one to say certain behaviours aren't manly" *proceeds to state that a certain way of behaving makes it completely clear that someone is a woman*
Isn’t Sadie (likely a girl going off the name itself), the person who is super clingy? Sadie takes a screenshot, then sends it and says the call button is right at the top of the page @8:09. Seems like the patient person was possibly a dude or another lady herself.
This video was actually about a guy getting harassed by a girl called Sadie. It says 'Sadie took a screensho' and the guy who was harassed has commented and confirmed
Thank you Charlie. You helped me get over my own delusional moments and really made me a better person. Helps to know we men have all embarrassed ourselves in front of girls at some point in our lives.
I think we're just so used to associating blue as guy and pink as girl. I guess being a creep and harassed is a gender neutral thing. Plot twist: they're both girls 💀
@Ava-ij6ykand where do you think twitter gets their screenshots from (spoiler alert, it's reddit, where you sometimes can't know the gender of the OP) 🤣🤣 And Sadie doesn't seem like it's a short form of ANY male name. You just want it to be a guy cause of your misandrist tendencies. DO BETTER!
Ive been in this situation so much and im always looked at as weird for not accepting. It got so bad i quit trying to date because every guy wanted me talk otp with him literally minutes after finding them on the dating site.
I think it’s weird too tbh, why don’t you just call? I personally feel like they’re catfishing me if I can’t even hear their voice. And it’s like, I want to go on a date. Like, in person. And I can’t even hear their voice? Genuinely asking. This girl was way too pushy though. I ask, “call?” And if they give an excuse, I accept it and ask again later. If they keep finding excuses and make no effort to set up a time, or if they just say “no I’m not comfortable,” I take it as they aren’t serious about dating, and they just want someone to text. And I move on. That’s the type of person who ghosts you, imo.
@spook6394 then you're not gonna get a lot of luck with us introverted girlies. We feel attacked in our own home if we have to suddenly have a phone conversation. With texting you can actually think about a response or the next topic. With phone convos there's too much risk of awkward silence lol

I struggle with loneliess, social anxiety, carrying on conversation and such. So, its frustrating to see seemingly decent people who just want to talk and connect have to go through the wringer of weirdo creeps like this. It's tough enough without these assholes. Genuine, fulfilling relationships of any sort (friend, family, romantic, etc.) are truly priceless. I have a recent boyfriend that called me repeatedly recently because i hadnt messaged back, but then they quickly apologized and said how it was over the line to do that. I reassured them that it was fine, but honestly it was the fact that they realized that they had pushed for attention too far that was what made it ok. If he had insisted i had to talk to him or i didnt love him or something, it would have been totally different. Im just not used to having someone seek after me, and my daily and nightly schedule is so busy with stuff that i feel bad for neglecting him and other friends. But everyone needs their privacy and personal space/time, that is the only right any of us truly have.
It ain't being too pushy uness you're dysphoric about your voice or something. It is normal for men to be protective, it is male nature. I don't mind it, I don't mind being a crown jewel or the dragon's treasure, it is a rather empowering position for me.

I got a boyfriend recently too, he was so over the top at first (in a good way not an insult) trying to buy me stuff and hang out with me like everyday. These are all really nice things but I explained boundaries cause we both haven’t had a proper relationship before. We’ve been together for about 2 months now and things are working really well. But trying to hang out with someone everyday or calling them heaps is overwhelming to anyone. If you express how you feel to the other person letting them know you’re flattered but you are unfortunately busy/need space/need time to get your social battery back. It’s valid. The only negative thing is if someone keeps pressing for you and ignoring your boundaries, and making you feel bad for it. Those are the red flags. Everyone is excited when they first start a relationship, but if they hold it against you or try to belittle you they’re not capable of being in a healthy relationship and it’s good to leave. TLDR// respect your partner’s boundaries, even if you’re eager for their attention and time early days sometimes relationships just need time and people need to take things slowly. If someone doesn’t respect your boundaries they aren’t ready for a relationship.
After a lifetime dealing with narcissists I want to give some advice if you want to save your sanity: Don't ask, tell. Tell them you're going to do something. Asking for their permission gives them the power to control your decisions. This behavior should've been shut down immediately after he ignored her first attempt at setting boundaries.

I had a gaming buddy I used to hang out and chat with on discord. Nice guy, but he was always kind of… clingy. Like he ALWAYS wanted to VC and even when I would tell him that I was busy and he’d just respond with “ok” and then like 5 minutes later with “you done?” Sometimes I’d literally be out in public or spending time with my family and he’d get upset I couldn’t chat with him at that moment. I haven’t talked with him much over the past couple of years, but he’ll message me every now and then and I don’t wanna hurt his feelings so I’ll respond back. But if you give him an inch, he goes a mile and he’ll hop in a VC with me and it’s mostly just him talking nonstop for HOURS, and I’ll only say like one or two words. Last I spoke with him was like 2 months ago and he told me to “never ghost him again.” It’s been 4 years since we became friends and I’ve changed a lot since then, but he never really has. Texting is a very recent thing and people used to talk to each other when they first met.
Again, fully agree with the dude having his own boundaries but Charlie's approach was a bit off the mark here.
@@1tubax Most people text. I don’t even like calling with my friends i’ve known for YEARS.

Yep I think you're right. Charlie says "she took a screenshot of chat and then he dumps a screenshot as well"
But it's obvious that it was the other person, not the person who we are getting these logs from, that took the screenshot and sent it. They even said "right at the top" after sending the sceenshot in reference to the beginning of their conversation where they said they are watching a movie with their parents and will call later.
Charlie kinda just glossed over it by saying:
"He says 'right at the top'" and then moving on but never addressed what that could mean or what the screenshot the supposed man sent was. It's quite clear that "Sadie" is the blue text and the one who took the screenshot and then sent it in their chat, not the person who posted the logs. So either they are both women, the man is named "Sadie" (unlikely), or the person who posted the logs is actually a man and the person begging for a call is the woman.

Bro didn't fumble the bag. He ripped it to shreds, and called an eagle on it.
Then threw the scraps in the ocean
It was actually a girl who was the creep
@@aspected yo that's the wrong code diver. 500kg is up, right, 3xdown.
@@Rale881 you would be correct. I'm awful at remembering them, my top score on stratagem hero is 300 😂
@@aspected 104k top score so far xD
What a creep! Person should have been blocked multiple messages ago.
The “winking frowny” is a tear lol. Crying frowny
"This is not what the lord died for" LOL
imagine a girl being so creepy she’s mistaken for a guy 😭😭 what happened to her omg
?
I work with someone like her. Doesn't understand why people don't like her when she's constantly flirting with every dude she works with and saying shit that NO cis male would ever get away with lmao
Really not that rare bro
Thank you Charlie for calling this out. I have had sooooo many creepy dudes try and call me out of the blue, it eventually made me think "Maybe I'm being selfish and bad.." Turns out they were the selfish ones, and they tend to grow more desperate the less attention you give.
If a dude is creepy and weird, youre not selfish for not wanting to talk to them. You deserve someone nice to be your other half, not some weirdo who creeps on people online
The one trying to call was a girl though. Their name was "Sadie" and they had a girl bitmoji.
That sucks but in this case Charlie fucked up and swapped the genders. The original post was a dude getting pressured to call from a girl.
@@MCCB1999 So guys cant have long hair and call themself Sadie ? .. i saw guys with way more girly Profiles then mine on apps .... especially if its a gamer :'D
@@yuzuchi5381 Is ''Sadie'' with a girly profile a man or a woman? I know what I'd bet my money on
"sadie took a screenshot" doesn't that mean that the lunatic is called sadie?
yea everyone got it wrong
You can see at the very start of the video that the creep is actually the girl
yeah the creep is actually a girl
yall dont get it,"Sadie took a screenshot" then a screenshot was sent, u can also see a long hair as a snap pfp of the person hes talking to, THE CREEP IS A GIRL NOT A DUDE LMAO
thisssssss
Geez Louise told me everything I needed to know about this guy🤣🤣
Apparently that’s the girl 😂
From the screenshots it looks like the girl was the crazy one and the guy was the stable one. In one of the screenshots it looks like a girl bitmoji then it said Sadie took a screenshot and sent a screenshot after.
Could also be a girl receiving these texts
@@brianvillatoro6588 2 girls? what a plot twist
@@brianvillatoro6588no op is a dude hes literally in the comments
Isnt this from the perspective of the guy? At the beginning of the video you can see the Bitmoji in the corner has long hair, then at 8:35 it says Sadie took a screenshot, not “you” which can be seen later.
yeah it’s either that or two girls
Charile never stop these types of videos!!!!
6:37 *On Easter* “This is not what the Lord died for” -Moistcritcal
2:02 thought that was gonna be a cut away skit or something 😂
Same
So true
Charlie, I am very impressed and proud of how far you have gotten in your success. Your Godslap comics are absolutely incredible, well made and have an amazing story, along with some awesome characters. Its so awe inspiring to see how far you have gotten in life, and how much you have influenced the lives of many. Your videos are some of the best things to have been put on the internet. I cant wait to see the franchise progress more and gain more popularity. I hope you have a very good day.
4:12 winky frowny face? Thats a gravity falls reference in the making
im pretty sure they’re both minors the way they’re actin
i hate to say it but these are my favourite charlie videos. i think it just makes myself feel better about myself

A dude I just met calling me on Snapchat would raise my fight or flight response so bad
Please do more of these when you come across them!! These are my favorite videos of yours now, I even rewatch the old ones bc the cringe is so good. I watch pretty much everything you post on YT, but the cringe texts from creepy men are the best!!
I used to be so obsessive and so clingy when tryna online date. So at times I’ll read messages like this and think “….good god was that ME????!!”
the more of these videos i watch, the better i feel about myself because im know im not that bad
I hope these videos never stop.
I do. Would be nice if people would stop being creeps.
@@FukaiKokoro Fair point. IF people won't stop, I hope Charlie never stops talking about them.
8:54 does this not imply that sadie is the other person? it says “YOU TOOK A SCREENSHOT OF A SNAP” if youre the one that took the screenshot. i think the creep is actually a girl this time 😅
10:49 it literally shows “YOU TOOK A SCREENSHOT OF A SNAP” so yea sadie is the other person
The girl is the creep
Or maybe the creepy guy has a girls name
