Todays menu makes me hungry (its breakfast time in Switzerland, and I will heat up some of the leftover broth from Christmas Evening, from our Fondue Chinoise). I never deep frie at home, because of the smell and also because I am not a fan of deep fried food. In Japan, I make exceptions however, and enjoy things like krokette, or kaarage. I have to admit, that my favourite kaarage is from family mart (the normal "farm chiki").
Thank you for your comment. Japan has a wide range of fried food on the menu, such as fried chicken, croquettes and tempura. Even at convenience stores, there are fried food corners next to the cash registers at Seven-Eleven and Lawson, as well as FamilyMart's Famichiki, and it's easy to end up buying some.
Looks delicious!
Thank you! It was delicious!
