Hello Glad you got more solar power. I carry a 25L of water in garage and a 5L of diesel in a can. Which has help me a couple of times
If your thinking of better Lithium batteries. Which battery are you looking at and where will you get them fitted. Please.
@rvrebel2209 unfortunately I don't have a lot of space to carry water only, enough for drinking water. I have 10L jerry for the deisal heater which I'll keep topped up with me wages now 😊 I'm looking at the fogstar 460ah my dad with fit it for me.

Bargain that solar panel! I'm similar situation earning as I move from town to town. I've always lived hand to mouth even when I was bricks & mortar based but last winter was brutal, a few quiet spells and ill for 3 weeks in December. I laugh about it now, my fault for taking too much time off chilling out over summer, but it wasn't fun choosing between fuel to move on or food at the time 😂

Camped out in my car for the first time a couple of weeks ago in Wales. Really enjoyed it but condensation was a nightmare, even with the windows cracked open. Wouldn't have wanted it to be any colder. Was thinking of getting one of those diesel heaters on a thermostat as it looks pretty cost effective.
@Womberto Deisal heaters are brilliant! You should defiantly invest in one 😊
@@the_groovy_life Definitely gonna look into it then. I guess I could just plumb it into my main diesel line in the engine bay. I've heard you can harvest the heat from their exhausts to make them even more efficient.
I found that the only electric I was using was for my phone and a small torch so I think a small panel going to a motorbike battery should be enough.
You've got to do what you gotta do to survive, a steady income will help for the time being.👍

Doesn't Hope have DC to DC charging?
She does but my altenator isn't man enough. So I cant leave it running for too long before it makes the battery flat. It's only really good for long drives and then I can turn it off 10/15 before the journey is over to put juice back into the battery.
@the_groovy_life should be able to upgrade the alternator quite easily. The standard ones are always a bit feable
I’ve been trying to figure out how to get out of the rat race / hamster wheel for ages and I really can’t work out how it can work full time without having any initial large outlay………
@MrJayscinema it's a tricky one buddy! Unless you can make working remote work for you? There are many different avenues out there. I'm in the midst of researching 👀 people do it!!
So van life isn't working ! I personally think it's dangerous for a lone female 🤔 🙃
