LOVE YOU GUYS! EVEN with the British accents, LOL. Seriously, your content & the manner in which you go about explaining, diagraming, and overall getting the point across is TOPS across the internet for golf instruction! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your website as well! The way you have the golf swing broken down into the components from setup to takeaway to the backswing and so forth is so "bite-size" and manageable...like the old joke, "How do you eat an Elephant? One bite at a time!" You guys have nailed it! I've been golfing for 30+ years and your teachings not only FEED MY NEED for instruction & correction, but they also CREATE a desire in me to get to the driving range and work on my game, I know twisted, right! Thank you SO much & keep up the exemplary work gentlemen (& ladies?!!). P.S. As with commentator 12496 adding the "shot tracer" to your sample shots would be an excellent addition to enforcing your instruction, IMHO.
Thanks! I just started practicing a few weeks ago and have been following all of your tips and videos! My irons are all hitting pretty consistently straight with 1/2-3/4 swings about 100-150 yards straight (still working on getting my full swing motion fluid to get better distances). Definitely going to be practicing some of these too, seems like a nice way to understand why the ball will slice, or even shank sometimes when I intend to get a straight shot.
Something just clicked for me. I have bee trying to close the face to your yellow pin and align my path to the black box. When you said face to the black box then move ever so slightly in your stance to the right of the black box it all clicked. Can't wai to try this at the range
Hi, what is your ball position for say a 9i and 5i iron ? if i put the ball back of centre im getting a straight low shot ...of i move it forward i get a pull or fade
This is good in theory but if you are coming over the top (#1 problem for amateurs) you will never ever draw the ball. This is why most players cannot draw the ball. Need to address the root cause of coming over the top before trying to apply technique to draw the ball.

Wow you made that sound and look easy
Good morning. Thanks I will practice that good video lesson.

Our video on ball position for every club can be seen here:

you guys are legends. love the website
Thank you so much!
Thanks you for video, but the video really needed a shot tracer in order to see the ball and or curvature.
Thank you for the feedback. 4K makes it easier to see the ball better but we agree that a shot tracer would be best.
Found it impossible to draw a driver !
To be fair this is the easier method of the two we will propose (advanced version next week) but indeed, it is not always easy to hit a draw.

I set up as recommended but seem to early extend in the down swing…..result straight right shot 🥲🥲
