Why are his employees so scared and try to keep Ethan from watching the full clip? This isn't the first time they tried to do something like that or just told him what happenes in a clip and insisted he didn't have to watch it. It's some sneaky behavior. It's like Ethan is in a cult, only he's not he leader...
Ethan himself hardly ever watches clips, or the full context of things either to be fair lol.
Audience capture. As long as you make money and keep the peace it’s enough… Why let the truth get in the way of comfort and profit? H3 would have to find a completely new audience which the crew would probably hate. Also the crew would probably want to quit but they have a good thing going that they want to preserve.
I think Olivia was having a bad time going over it. Is it based on a misunderstanding? Yeah. But without that context I would probably change topics for my friend, too. Maybe even with the context, probably better to move on and talk about it off-air. Sometimes it's being laughed at, but sometimes ppl just start crying because they feel bad about what they did. Had that happen to me recently. It's really unfair. You hurt someone and then start crying, because you feel bad about it INFRONT of the person you hurt. That pisses me off to no end. It's the most selfish thing you can do in that moment. I really had to take a walk after that one. Even if it was by accident and you really feel bad about it, don't put that on the person you hurt.

It's what makes us procrastinate things we're afraid of. We dont care about the people we would help by doing the thing we're supposed to do, we're wrapped up in our own feelings/fears/discomfort about doing it. So in those situations I like to have a conversation about ego pain because no one ever talks to anyone about it so it really uncaring to expect people to magically handle it well.

There was a woman here in the UK who lied so bad on a few men and she got sent to prison and I will tell you this, I thought “Good!” Her name is Eleanor Williams. I am so angry about the state of the justice system in the UK for victims of this type of crime and now she comes along and does this to make it even harder for us. Women and kids are not being treated fairly by the justice system for these types of crimes as the police will gladly tell you that the rates are going up and the convictions are going down. Parents are scared for their children.

It's a very black and white way of thinking: you're 100% right or 100% wrong. And there is a certain narrative that it is above a person that leads to the dehumanization of both women and men.
Women are not living beings but propaganda and their stories are taken, shared online, published and used as a weapon against some people as an exercise of power. Those people that you mentioned don't use power to help abused women, to give them something or help them heal, they use women's trauma as a means of power. This is why some women lie and don't want to admit that others are doing the same because it would limit their power.

TLDR: In the past H3 was defending this girl who was clearly lying about Myron, from Fresh and Fit, SA'ing her. Aba n Preach called out H3's bs for defending this lying woman simply because Ethan doesn't like FnF. In response, AnP made jokes about women who lie, (ie: Amber Heard). Then Olivia from H3 spun it as if AnP were making fun of HER OWN SA experience. Which is factually and contextually untrue.

This is the only time its ever used as "evidence", they nevee say "why would he murder and eat his entire family?" Or "why would she poison her own child just to gain sympathy?" As a way to defend perpetrators.
Bang on, mate. There has to be some kind of inversion they want/need, for what they consider a perceived complete power imbalance, in order for the mantra or movement to work. There can't be logic in their reasoning here: it has to completely and entirely be "why would they do something like that?" The statistic of 'only 2 percent of SA claims are false' (which is not what these statistics come to) make it even harder to dissuade someone from thinking that women could possibly have ulterior motives in accusations.

What happened to Ethan is the same thing that has happened to every major company recently. Young political activists were hired into positions of power within his company and used their power to hire like-minded people. Eventually, Ethan became like them likely because of peer pressure but also because we are all products of the people we are surrounded by. My 2 pence anyway.
Facts. Until profitability is under threat they have no reason to change. A lot of companies recently dismantled or drastically downsized DEI initiatives once interest rates rose, the economy slowed down or they saw how counterproductive it could be.

These companies would often spend billions acquiring another company and then turn around and lay off 8% of their workforce, resulting in thousands losing their jobs due to keeping profitability.

I do agree in concept, but there are battles being fought in shadows that because of power dynamics do unfortunately place one as a victim no matter what. I don’t want to say exactly what I mean, but it involves programs many corporations are instilling that increasingly is making illegal discrimination very legal.
Personally, my hope is that eventually the tide will turn and bring back meritocracy as the norm. The Supreme Court decision last year about AA is scaring companies from fully complying with their desire to discriminate in promotions and hiring. But it’s still there in the shadowy way it is.

I watched it all happen. He definitely came into the topic of A&P with an enthusiastic hopefulness, started talking about mending fences, and then got blindsided by an employee's wild allegations during a live show.
Honestly, I felt like Ethan held his ground pretty well, considering how much his crew kinda fucked him over. Even to the point that when Olivia stated her issue with A&P, Ethan asked another crew member to pull up the footage so he could evaluate the situation. However, that crew member never procured the footage, saying that he knew how uncomfortable Olivia was. Like he had nowhere to go with the whole thing.
Even then, Ethan ended the show STILL talking about building bridges with A&P, despite his female employee being clearly on the edge of tears and the guys riding for her. Plus, he knew his some part of his own audience was going to lose their shit over him trying to get to the bottom of the accusations, instead of just immediately taking up her cause and moving on.
I've never seen someone get so awkwardly fucked over and left to twist in the wind like that.
