Not really. If you grow in a multilingual non-English speaking home in a western country, you will almost inevitably learn 3 languages just because they are present throughout your childhood. It's really cool that he can speak 3 languages, but it's not as incredible achievement as you think on a personal level, it's very likely that it came naturally to him rather than it being some huge hurdle he had to overcome. Don't mistake this as hate for him. I'm just explaining how it is for multilingual families.
@@ToveriJuri It's still impressive because he can write and read in all 3 languages. I'm Polish, my husband is Iranian and we live in Canada. My kids definitely don't fluently speak Polish or Farsi, they're just not interested in learning and we don't force it.
@@joanna0988 I'm bilingual. Both of my parents spoke to me in their own language since I was a baby and so I learned to use both fluently, because I used a different language with a different parent. They also made sure I'd also engage with kid's entertainment from both countries. So, I didn't have to learn 2 languages I already spoke both from the moment I knew how to speak at all. That is how most bilingual people become "natively" fluent in both languages. Then somewhat later came English because English was absolutely everywhere, and I just learned it naturally due to interacting so much with it. It's not matter of forcing a kid to learn. The best way to learn a language is to use it. I'm not linguistically gifted either. In fact, I suck at learning languages. When I had to learn another language in school, I sucked at it because I had to study it to learn it instead of naturally learning it through use, I hated it and still suck at it.

Here to show Preach some love! Makes me sad that anyone criticizes Preach's articulation. His English is fantastic, and it never crossed my mind that he had any issues expressing his ideas in English. I grew up in a multi-ethnic immigrant family with 4 languages in use so my whole life I have seen 1) the actual brilliance and eloquence of non-native English speakers in their native language; and 2) how Americans often automatically discount the intelligence of non-native speakers if their English isn't perfect. It's a strange juxtaposition. You'd think their language skills should be an indicator of intelligence to others.
Relax... Just stop. Listen not everyone can articulate everything that they think. Some people can be a genius but have trouble expressing their thoughts. It's alright. But don't mask it... You are not helping.
Preach's English is absolutely incredible for a non-native speaker. You can barely notice any accent and he speaks fluidly and fluently I often forget that he doesn't actually speak native English.

Ethan Klein: *"They're pathetic, they're liars, they're dishonest, and they're phonies."* The self-projection is so obvious you could see it coming with 10/10 vision.
Well to be honest Aba and Preach lied and were completely and totally dishonest with their coverage of Ethan at the time. They took everything out of context and painted a false narrative of the events. That is one of Ethan's triggers since Keemstar did that to him a lot. Most of the Aba & Preach fanbase is unaware of the how false the things Aba was saying were so they are still stuck on this idea that Ethan is the dishonest one when that is not true.
Well actually 🤓10/10 vision is perfect vision at 10 units. The subject being tested can see things which someone with perfect vision can see at 10 units away. 10/20 vision would be bad because the person tested can see at 10 units what a person with perfect vision can see at 20 units. One of the reasons I love Aba and Preach's channel is because of the fact you guys are multilingual and it inspired me to want to learn more languages (learning Spanish and Dutch as we speak). It's crazy how judgmental English speakers can be to people who's first language isn't English because it just shows how much of a superiority complex we have here in America and how self important we can be at times to be English speakers (even though English comes from England so it's not even really our own language lmao). I understand that a lot of French people can also be like that because I have friends who visit Quebec often and they get mocked for not speaking French, but at least it's because it's in their own country where most of the stores and labels are in French so it just makes the most sense to learn French. This is YOU GUY'S channel so y'all can speak however you want and it's crazy how Ethan thinks Preach is "stupid" when knowing 3 languages is so challenging and English is literally his 3rd language, that's like getting on a hispanic person for fumbling their English when they moved to America later in their life. Keep up the great work guys.
I will just add this about Québec since I'm québécois. Québec doesn't have the best history (I would even say that to this day) with english speaker. I wont go into detail, because this is a humoristic RUclips video comment section, but we have been seen has second class citizen for a long long long time and we are still mock on a regular basis. Knowing that it's not that hard to understand that we are not the biggest fan of english speaker, especially if we can't get services in shop or restaurant in some area of Montréal (à Québec city). Ironically, Québec is the most bilingual province, because we have to learn english, while other province dont care about learning french (alright thats mu opinion more then researched fact). And I wont even begin talking about francophone minority in english province, but lets say that they are not treated the best. I can understand that some english speaker can find some of us rude, I just wanted to give you the reverse perspectives. If you care about digging deeper, you can easily research about this topic
While you're right, actually everyone who speaks his native language only have this issue, some of them are flat out stupid but somehow they think that they're superior because you can't speak their mother language as good as they do 😂😂 I traveled a lot and due to work requirements I had to live/work in different countries, while speaking 4 languages myself, I will always find that smart ass who will treat me like I'm stupid because my accent is not perfect or such, I choose to ignore them and focus on the point unless they go far with it.
It's always the ones who only speak one language that start instantly correcting/mocking others grammar mistakes/pronunciation. You see it all the time on the internet. I also speak 3 languages(Portuguese,Spanish,English) on a daily basis so I understand very well how it is to mix them in your head, having to translate on the fly and making sure afterwards that the literal translation makes sense.

She can express herself well enough to explain things in one language that she just doesn't have the words for in another (as she may have not encountered that conversation in that language yet). Sometimes she bounces around between the three in a single sentence... She's smarter than some of the folks I meet at work. Just because a polyglot doesn't have words for you doesn't mean they lack intelligence; more often than not, if you're the kind of person that thinks this, they've probably just decided your lack of brain cells are not worth their time.
by the way it happens both ways. I sometimes know a word in my second language that i don't know in my native one, or vice versa. It's completely normal.
I lived in france for university, the lessons were in french and it was my 4th language and I only learned it for 1 and half years before transferring. Much like Preach, I have a speech impediment that severely hampered the way I spoke 'till I was in my mid 20's; I stuttered quite often and it made it impossible to have a normal conversation with anyone.
@@joanna0988
I'm bilingual.

While you're right, actually everyone who speaks his native language only have this issue, some of them are flat out stupid but somehow they think that they're superior because you can't speak their mother language as good as they do 😂😂
I traveled a lot and due to work requirements I had to live/work in different countries, while speaking 4 languages myself, I will always find that smart ass who will treat me like I'm stupid because my accent is not perfect or such, I choose to ignore them and focus on the point unless they go far with it.

The squeaky floor is a character on it's own. You can't watch Aba N Preach without it
👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
Its name is N.
Word. It can have its own asmr channel and people will subscribe and go to sleep peacefully.
The floor is the N in Aba N Preach
13:15 nah that shimmy at the end had bro running 😂
BRO i NEVER noticed the floor creaking in ANY of yalls vids until yall mentioned it, and it just hit me how familiar the sound is when paired with yalls voices LMAO
Yes 😂me too
What ???? That floor is like the 3rd cast member.
Its been aba, preach&floor for a while but they named the channel before floor got heard.
I didn't notice it either until Aba said "We're not fixing the creaky floor"
I’ve been watching so long at one point they tried to switch wherever they record, we were like nope give us back the creaky floor and they went back so they’re keeping that place literally for the floor
I fuckin love the creaky floor. When something crazy is said and all I hear is the floor, its like im hearing your souls struggling to process it
Living in someone's head rent free has never been so priceless😂
you guys are awesome! shout out from an Angolan in Spain who constantly has to translate several languages in his head!
Oh, so do you have to translate from your native language to Portuguese to Spanish? What is Your native language btw?
@@quaygrass6212 i cant speak for the guy, but people from Angola normally speak portguese from portugal but with their own little dialect, + a language from each group/tribe that lives on the country of Angola, as far as i know a lot of African are multilingual
Believe it or not, back in the day Ethan grew his fanbase by making fun of over the top feminists with the whole "triggered" thing and such. Kinda sad to see what he has become now...
....when you run out of content & creativity 😂
He was just chilling in this
Also, H3H3 had a rise in fan base or whatever, that were older guys. But a lot of the older fan base left after he stopped doing skits. I think it’s a lot of the younger people that kept following him into the podcast or whatever they started doing after he stopped being funny. Also, being the judge jury and executioner of the internet was a bit much, and that happened earlier on too.
@@JohnPedderHis wife/partner seems to be a factor here, seems like he goes extra hard against misogyny/patriarchy on her behalf. I could be wrong.

The squeaky wood floors is iconically Montréal.
I like the squeaks, it’s authentic and makes the channel unique, a whole flex knowing you can move and get a better set up but choose not too. I suppose it can serve as a remind of where the channel began. Keep up the good work!
I love that they are just in their makeshift bedroom in grandmas basement with the squeaky floor with millions of followers
man this was so feel good, its crazy - well done for EK looking healthy as well
I like this kind of 'drama'. Theres no deep insults or real hatred thrown at each other. It feels light and fun.
1. The floor is N in Aba N Preach. It stays.
2. apparently on this particular day of filming you two were at your best. because every video so far has been top tier.
3. the sensitive call back was gold.
It actually took me learning French to appreciate the struggles non-native English speakers have. Most of my friends who speak English as a second language speak it so well that I often forget they are speaking a second language.
yep, although imo french is harder than english.
@@damp2269why?
@@svensvensson1085 mostly my personal experience but the bit that jumps the most is phonetics. i'm abit biased too, Spanish native speaker with 10+years of english experience and 1 yrs worth of french classes
African are one of the group of people who speak the most languages my parents speak 4 and I speak 3 my siblings 2
@@svensvensson1085 because it's such a random writing and speaking system imo. Im native french and im better in english despite no one around me using it.
Respect that Ethan admitted he was wrong, complimented Preach, and put his hands up. It's not the best he could say, but at least he said something positive and admitted his wrongdoings (didn't apologize, but admitted them at least.)
I love the squeaky creaking...it's original and feels cozy when sharing your stories. Dont change!!
Love how Preach is a whole ass Star in Canada and Ethan can't wrap his mind around it
If there was a “best non-brother, brother duo” award. They definitely would be at the top of the list. It’s always fun watching them do their thing and go back n forth
MONTREAL represent !! love you guys, and as we say here; let's go Preach continue comme ça !
bonne fête kéveune, continue comme ça
Aba clowning the backup singers 😂😂😂😂💀💀
Mad respect to Preach for being multilingual.
Doesn't he just speak two languages?
@@njux1871 multi = plural. 2>1 so yeah. also the word is polyglot.

Spanish too
EY! Aba and Preach never, ever change that creaky ass floor! That shit is part of the channel.
I think Aba and Preach are just two people that... the longer you're around them and listen to them... they just grown on you because they're genuinely being themselves. You may not always agree with them but they definitely don't fit into any boxes people try and put them in.
Much like Preach, I have a speech impediment that severely hampered the way I spoke 'till I was in my mid 20's; I stuttered quite often and it made it impossible to have a normal conversation with anyone. My solution was to read the dictionary and find pronounceable synonyms for words I wasn't able to say while also practicing at home, and it was a difficult journey to do so. I'm in Quebec, so when I speak French I have a similar issue to this day, but I'm working on it slowly.
All that to say, good on Preach for overcoming such a difficult life hurdle; I know first hand it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to do so. I would love to see a video on his experience with a speech impediment and how he was able to beat it.
Congrats, you are like John Stossel and Emily Blunt. You should see their interview.
xqc is that you?
Respect to you bro, you took the hand you were dealt with and chose to do something about it instead of wallowing. You're a real one.
Hearing that Preach had speech issues in his youth gives me confidence in improving mine. Can’t even tell he makes it seem like he’s always been this articulate. Hopefully I can achieve the same.
You should see John Stossel interview with Emily Blunt, I didn't knew that they are "successful" stutters.
I been here watching y’all for years. The floor needs to stay forever and it’s creaking 😂😂
Massive respect. Didnt even know Preach was french xD. Looked at one of his shows and hes a different person
2:55 people don’t realize that it’s pretty common in Canada for older homes or buildings for them to creek a lot because of the cold we get in winter and hot in the summer …
How can you be an enemy of both Fresh & Fit and H3H3? That is quite the accomplishment. You both should be very proud.
How is being normal an accomplishment mate?
@@aerickmon3350 On RUclips, being normal takes courage. Hard to build an audience if you're a regular person.
I love that you still record in that space with your squeaky floor. I know you guys could afford to record in some expensive new place if you wanted, but I respect that you keep it simple.
I love the apartment and floor it the none perfect sounds authentic, AND once you guys were in a studio and I hated it.
Looks like Aba & Preach have about 14,000 acres of free real estate in *Ethan “Jumping to conclusions with little to no context” Klein’s* head😂💀💀

Bro it's crazy how I've never really noticed the floor board sounds to now, I think because It was apart of the Aesthetic of the channel. Like I was paying more attention to what u guys were saying instead of the noise. But now hearing it it actually makes me happy because It ain't an Abba and preach video with u guys moving amd being expressive while the boards creek. To be fair I can't move anywhere in my apartment without the boards creeking so it kinda makes me feel at home🖤❤️
I LOVE LOVE the channels who stand out, and it make me feel like we are chilling...not watching it like a talk show
