I’m not above taking a hard job. My first job was as a custodian, I was the only woman on my team and they never let me forget it. They never let me forget that I wasn’t strong, that I wasn’t built for the job, that I couldn’t do as much as them. But I still showed up everyday and did the damn thing.
As a female veteran, I knew I was incapable of doing tough jobs in the military, such as infantry, SEALs, Rangers, etc. instead I did military intelligence, went to DLI in Monterey California and learned Arabic. I deployed to Iraq and did my job, even tho I wasn’t in a combat arms job. The world needs all types of people; we can ask contribute. I now take care of my family and my husband, who was injured in Iraq.

I was a civil engineer. I had the same, if not better, credentials and experiences as my male colleagues. ALL of the guys would get hired before me and even a few company CEOs said they felt like women couldn’t do the job. When I did get hired, I was paid the same BUT I didn’t get a secretary like the others and had to type my own shit. The survey crews would be more hesitant to do my survey so I learned how to do them myself. I never got a researcher assigned to me so I had to go research property lines in cities and counties myself. And then when raises came out, I was evaluated on just my work and not that I had to do ALL the other stuff myself which resulted in me taking longer but never a lesser quality of work. Then, I’d get male interns assigned to me and people would ask me to get the coffee in meetings or take notes. When I told my interns to get it, I got called out in it though the guys could always do that with their interns. I’m tough and that shit didn’t break me. (Add in that I’m black working in a white male profession and voila! A perfect recipe for discrimination!) After 3 years of holding my own and kicking ass, i was written up for using foul language at a job site when damn near every guy did it! I left the profession and became a teacher. I’m empowering the next generation of ladies and teaching the guys to be more inclusive. So when people say “men build societies, not women” that’s firstly a lie it’s just that jobs women do are under paid, if paid at all, and under appreciated. Also, men gatekeep shit for hundreds of years and blocking women from fair chances simply because they can beat you up so of course women and girls are behind in that regard.

As a new mom who has done very physical jobs, this parenting thing is the hardest job ever. Especially as a sole parent. There is no clocking out. It is extremely disgusting and frustrating.

I now take care of my family and my husband, who was injured in Iraq.

Once upon a time Pearl had some decent points in how 'equality' has gone the opposite way in recent times due to neo-feminism and fake-wokeness, etc. She pushed the idea that there's actually a lot of value in women choosing a more traditional route that cares for home and her family rather than feeling she can only be successful and happy if she's a 'girlboss' competing against men for position. She presented the other side of the coin to balance out crazy extremes of the aforementioned a little, and that was a good thing. For a while.
But then things changed. I think she noticed that men were responding well to it and a little voice in her head decided she could use this for a more personal goal. It stopped being about the social issue of equality, and instead became Pearl's quest to find a husband. And with all these guys responding well to her, it should have been easy, right? Just give them more of what they've already proven they liked to hear. But it didn't really work like she hoped, and she became increasingly desperate, skewing it more in their favor, to the complete disregard of women. By this point her own quest for male approval could no longer be covered up by the social issues she hid behind, what she was touting was reaching uncanny valley levels of disconnect.
And she still didn't have a guy.

It makes me so sad as a survivor of preeclampsia that she has no clue as a woman how difficult, dangerous, and hard pregnancy on its own can be. I think the women who have dealt with that or other scary issues like Postpartum Anxiety, Depression, and Psychosis would have many words to say to her. I was a civil engineer. I had the same, if not better, credentials and experiences as my male colleagues. ALL of the guys would get hired before me and even a few company CEOs said they felt like women couldn’t do the job. When I did get hired, I was paid the same BUT I didn’t get a secretary like the others and had to type my own shit. The survey crews would be more hesitant to do my survey so I learned how to do them myself. I never got a researcher assigned to me so I had to go research property lines in cities and counties myself. And then when raises came out, I was evaluated on just my work and not that I had to do ALL the other stuff myself which resulted in me taking longer but never a lesser quality of work. Then, I’d get male interns assigned to me and people would ask me to get the coffee in meetings or take notes. When I told my interns to get it, I got called out in it though the guys could always do that with their interns. I’m tough and that shit didn’t break me. (Add in that I’m black working in a white male profession and voila! A perfect recipe for discrimination!)
After 3 years of holding my own and kicking ass, i was written up for using foul language at a job site when damn near every guy did it! I left the profession and became a teacher. I’m empowering the next generation of ladies and teaching the guys to be more inclusive.
So when people say “men build societies, not women” that’s firstly a lie it’s just that jobs women do are under paid, if paid at all, and under appreciated. Also, men gatekeep shit for hundreds of years and blocking women from fair chances simply because they can beat you up so of course women and girls are behind in that regard.

Shes at a point now where she’s realised she won’t be able to get the kind of partner she could have potentially had if she made it a priority when she was younger. I really do think her takes are about as stupid as it gets but I don’t see why everyone is saying ‘You don’t practice what you preach’. Her whole message is that not practicing what she is currently preaching has ruined her life. Even if she tells other women your not good wives, I’m sure the difference here is that the woman she is talking to doesn’t believe they are a 5/10 when in fact they are.
She needs to be cancelled, then evaluated. People should not give her the attention she does not deserve, if social media withdraws from her, maybe she will just go away.

You actually make a very good point. By Pearl's logic, RUclipsrs and comedians certainly shouldn't get to vote. If you want to tie voting rights to a specific performance then the genitals or chromosomes of the person trying to vote mean absolutely nothing.

Yeah she's basically advocating for a meritocracy type of government, but in that case 90% of the populace can't vote and it would be the top 25% of society controlling everything

I think physically giving birth to and raising future generations and running a home is a very important and hard job. Families are the backbone of society. Pearl should practice what she preaches; get married, have and raise some kids.
