    this proves that you don't need expensive art programs, such as Photoshop, to create amazing art. This drawing is absolutely fantastic! I will definitely use these tips because I use Medibang as well.

      Photoshop is not an art program. Yeah, I know that a bunch of profesional artists use it, but there's quite a few options that Photoshop doesn't have, cause is not specifically designed to draw. Is better to use SAI, CSP... Pograms that are actually made for this

    • @aesketches
      @aesketches 4 года назад +7

      @@iamluyu I agree... also, I've been doing well at MediBang for quite some time now and it's sad that I can't get a job with my knowledge in this software cos the HR would usually demand that they need someone who's an expert Photoshop. Granted that PS has many beneficial features, most companies wouldn't hire artists who are actually good at drawing from scratch. If there is, kudos to them!

      @@ain8236 *2 years ago*
      I've learned a little about blending, and still don't think a smudgy mess is a good idea. Using the two watercolour brushes and leaving some of the marks with hard edges instead of blending into infinity has worked a lot better for me ^-^

    • @ain8236
      @ain8236 4 года назад +5

      @@yuagiin actually, same hahaha. I never feel satisfied with my work if it's to soft because of the smudged edges. It's just that i've seen few works that are actually good despite being smudgy. Good to know that you've improved and found your style!

    Your tutorials and speedpaints help me a lot to learn. Especially since I juse Medibang too. I have a question; why aren't you using the blur tool to blend? It makes sense to me to not use it around the edges of the face or hair etc but why not use it on the cheeks or forehead? What difference does it make?

    • @jyundee
      @jyundee  7 лет назад +4

      Cathy Cat I am comfortable with using watercolor because I like the texture of it. I feel like it only blurs the edges and not mixed the color between, so it feels off to me. I do use it after I use oil pastel though

      Cathy Cat the blur tool is trash(it’s only good in very few cases)...i mostly see kids use it as shading for their original characters. good shading brushes are watercolor(or watercolor square is a good one for the nose) or making your own blend brush.

      Onodera Punpun Idk if stylus is the same as a tablet pen, but I'm using a Wacom tablet to draw x) and thank you for your generosity

      2:16 looks best imo, I do like the final coloured version, but this, I don't know why, is more appealing to me.
