It would've been nice to have an explanation as to why you think this way. But okay. Sorry I'm getting salty, but people who do this make me mad ngl..
Another note: The shadow should be a similar color to the objects near it. So if the character is leaning against a brick wall, if the shadow was next to the wall it'd be redder. And with neon colored objects (Like a neon yellow hoodie/vest) it'll reflect a lot of light, so objects near it will become yellower. This applies to other things, but I just wanted to point those out! I love the video btw, I never thought to use the airbrush tool because I thought it wouldn't look as clean.
Oh please, don't excuse yourself for your voice or pronunciation. We watch you because you're an awesome artist, not because we want to hear ASMR or something like this. We like you and your videos the way they are, so don't judge yourself this harshly. Even though it's a great mindset to improve yourself.

I also was inspired to get medibang (a switch over from krita) because of how streamlined and less buggy it seemed. I'm loving it so far!
The use of blues, greens, and purples aren’t just to make a picture pop under special lighting. Because of the veins and blood flow under the skin, certain areas of the face and neck appear more blue or pink. There’s also the undertones of the skin to keep in mind. Applying more than just a variation of the base color provides a more realistic kick to the drawing.

Im so so happy I found this I was wondering how to blend hair without it going over the sketch layer! I went through 11 different videos on it but they either went to fast or they never said anything about it but you gave a complete explanation on how to do it and that is why I'm truly grateful so thank you thank you so so much 😭!
Thank you so much jyundee! I'm slowly making my way through all of your videos, often slowing them down to really take them in. You have a monopoly on RUclips for quality videos using MediBang, which must have a higher demand than people think, because its really a great program the possibilities of which are exemplified by your amazing art. Being new to both digital painting and MediBang, you have been a vital resource for my learning experience and I look forward to all of your videos to come. Also, Ive noticed you apologize for your voice in previous videos, and just thought to mention that most people, myself included, hate the sound of their own voice! You have a great voice and narrate your videos very well, so don't cringe ;)
i used to blend with an airbrush, but a person i looked up to told me it looked horrible and to avoid the airbrush at all costs. this taught me that i just wasn't using a good technique. i dont support that person anymore, i really appreciate this video, even though it's older and i doubt you'll see this haha
