Hello guys, I hope you guys found this tutorial helpful. I explained on how you can download the brushes at 16:58 . Use eye dropper by clicking "I" on keyboard, press top button on your tablet, or by right-clicking on your mouse.
How much pressure does your tablet have? I'm ordering one that's 8192.
and is that number good for a tablet?
hey um sorry if I missed anything you said related to my question but did you cover darker skin tones? I'm in school, no volume just subtitles >.>
I'm having trouble with darker skin tones
I'm so glad you decided to keep the voiceovers, it's super helpful! Also, you sound so much more confident in your more recent videos!
Can you active a titles in frenche pls
pros: painting face for more than an hour.

Popopori Sameeee! I tend to rush things because I want the finished product!

pros dont know how much time they spent, they get immersed in drawing...

@@animeartacademy7148 or spending hours only to realize u haven't shaded correctly or u have anatomy/proportion issues.
Throws tablets away!
I'm actually a bit afraid to try this out since I'm used to doing each and every single detail on it's own layer.
Samee, I'm terrified if I mess up one spot I'd have to erase all of it ;-;

I appreciate so much that you so tutorials on medibang! I struggle a lot with that program TT. Love you art so much! Greetings from Venezuela :)
Elvia Aray oh my goodness, it's always nice to know that someone across the world is taking the time to watch my vid x). Thank you
The Dracobirthstonian oh really we had no idea
I can't thank you enough for these tutorials. I am not even close to as good as you are, but I am getting better, thanks to you. My husband just bought me an XP-Pen drawing tablet for Christmas, and it's my first digital drawing device, so I am excited. Medibang works perfectly with it because Medibang detects pressure sensitivity of the pen-mouse stylus. I received the drawing tablet and tried to do some stuff on my own, but I am just starting out and knew it wasn't looking very good. But then I watched your tutorials and learned so much that I wowed my friends with the first art piece I did after watching. If I could share photos in here, I would show you what I accomplished, and it was all thanks to you. Still, you are light years ahead of me. One day, I will have grown more, but for now, it's enough just to thank you for helping me start on my journey.
Love it when you do voice over tutorials. I always walk away from them with something new learned even if I don't completely grasp the concept the first time. Love your work.
your voice is so smooth;;;;; feels relaxingg
the eyelashes tip was very helpful because it's easy for me to draw eyelashes on paper, but when it comes doing eyelashes digitally it gets harder for me. Thank you :)
I'm still having trouble with the eyelashes. I think it's a brush size issue for me.
So good! I prefer with voice over on your tutorials. I'd love to watch more videos from you! :D
DrLegend more shall come in the future :O, give me an idea on what tutorial you want to see next
Well, I'd love to see anatomy tutorials from you. I think that's a good idea.
I like your voice over cause you explained a lot of details and tips and I LEARNED A LOT SO THANK YOU! :))
I've been trying for literally years to do this style, and no tutorial has ever worked for me, BUT THIS FINALLY DID
thank u so much!!
Ur voice is really calming and soft I love listening to it and your tutorials are so helpful tysm!
You deserve way more recognition for this stunning artwork. I adore it so much (:
I’ve been using this tutorial in the background while I paint and it’s really helped me simplify my shading more. Especially the step for adding a colored background. It has definitely helped me figure out what colors I will be using for shading and lighting.
As for how I have improved on shading/lighting, I now used similar steps and add a few more, depending on the lighting. I usually add multiply layers, overlay layers, screen layers, and/or add layers to enhance my shading/lighting and help it better fit with the background and mood. For example: if I have a darker background for the scene/portrait, I will enhance and darken my shading with a multiply layer of the background color (still being mindful of the light source of the piece). Then I will highlight important features of the face and eyes with an add layer to help direct attention to the character.
I found I especially use a reddish color to round out the eyes of my characters and to shade the corners of the sclera (tends to look pinkish in real life references due to blood vessels), and it really has made my digital pieces more realistic.
I also use the watercolor brush on medibang paint now for most of my initial blending, and I must say, I wish I used it sooner. The lines are sharp, but still smooth enough for me, unlike the airbrush tool. By switching the opacity and size of the brush when laying down colors, I’ve been able to block in shadows and then blend over time to define sharp edges and soft edges. Now I only use the airbrush for soft lighting (screen/add/dodge layers) adding softer shadows (multiply/darken layers), and applying blush (typically a multiply layer with reduced opacity over a color layer, so that I don’t have to shade again 😅).
I never thought of the eye dropper tool before.. That actually helped a lot, looks a lot more natural now! Great colouring and drawing as usual, keep up the good work
XitouXV thank you, I'm glad you found something helpful
XitouXV Excuse me how exactly do I use the eyedropper tool I don't know how to use it can you please help me?I'm really sorry if it's a bother
Yumi panda click I on ya keyboard or the top button on ya tablet pen
The fact that you share your knowledge openly without any hesitation just to help others learn is truly beautiful 💫you don’t have that ego despite being s great artist. I can only awe in amazement at this 🌸
This will help me a lot, even without using Medibang. I just started semi realism and your tutorials are to die for.
Brazil salutes you.
yesssssss I've been waiting for this for so long. I love ALL your art videos and I've rewatched them multiple times
Mintygreen Roxas seriously? Wow, thank you so much :O
jyundee your reply has made this the greatest day of my vacation. yessssssssssss. officially favorite artist now.
Hey jyundee thanks for the vid! Been seriously having a hard time learning the basics, even after watching a ton of videos. Really appreciate you going into detail. I've been starting and stopping this video all day long as I try to recreate your techniques on my own piece. Oh and keep putting your voice in the vids, it makes it more human!
Woo nice a voice over. Makes things much easier! Great tutorial!
DigiArt that's great to know x)
The mic sounds quite nice actually, everything is clear (y)
Thank you for he tutorial, I personally love so much your work!
I really love this!! I've became more confident on trying out semi-realism, thank you so much! Have a nice day :)
This should help me a lot!! Your voice is relaxing to listen to, and the music is nice.
I love your art! You're so inspiring, and your tutorials are absolutely amazing!❤
I just wanna say that this video is helpful and your voice is really soothing 💕
This video got me back into art, going to have to watch it 1000 times just to perfect the technique but I know it will be worth it
This is really helpful. I tried coloring in medibang and I suck at it, search through yt for tutorials and alot were bad one's but yours is the best! I love how you added voice overs, made me understand ur tutorial much more better. Just wanna say thank for this vid

You are so TALENTED AAAAA 😭😭💞💞😭
Oh my god, same age with me... Happy new year jyundee... Really love your artwork...
Your voice is calming.
When you combine art video and asmr video..
I love your voice..
soul touching voice....keep it up jyundee.
Please do more tutorials where there is commentary rather than music, much more easier to learn in my opinion however I think your voice is really soothing which is counter productive because I feel like I might fall asleep (not a bad thing, i like sleep) D:, but if possible could you do more tutorials? Thanks :)
Doplan Devi thank you for the tip. I'll try to add more explanations. Oh no lol, I didn't mean to making anyone fall asleep. My voice is like this because I'm not used to commenting yet
Yes that would be nice, thank you for responding. I think your art is beautiful so I would like to learn how to become better from someone who can create it is all. By the way have you ever thought about creating a patreon page?
Doplan Devi thank you and I'll try to make more tutorials more helpful. I have thought about it, but I think I haven't gathered that much audience where they would want to support me like that
jyundee, don't apologize for your voice - and don't change it. You have a soothing voice, yes, soft and gentle, but that is a good thing. It's a kind voice, and helpful and instructive. I love it. I wish my own voice was softer, like yours. But we are all blessed with different things.
Yay! Finally get to hear your voice❤️ love love love your vids as always
Eve Silhouette thank you so much. I'm happy to hear that
Thank you for uploading this video today, it made my birthday a lot better. 。◕‿‿◕。
Benjamin Ruiz awww happy birthday!! 🎂 It's always nice to hear something like that 😊
I hope other tutorial makers take note of how you taught this. First you say how and what are you going to and do it. That makes it easy for someone who has no idea how to paint.
I literally downloaded MB so I can attempt to learn how you paint skin QuQ When it first came out, I hated it because it was clunky to me. After seeing this while struggling on painting a current portrait, I decided to try again AND ITS WORKING AMAZINGLY. Thank youuuuuu
wow, with this one tutorial i became such a better artist, thank you, i owe you one.
Thank you so much, this video helped me a lot. Finally created a piece i am happy with.
Omg thank you so much!! I can't even express how much this helped me! ❤❤
Thanks so much! I have been deleting and remaking things over and over because I couldn't do this kind of style, but this really helped!
I like your voice comented videos, keep doing it please. Btw, your ilustrations are great
This is so much help... you speak calmly so we can understand better.. and your describe it beautifuly.. thank you..
Omgosh how I love her voice overs!!! 😄❤️❤️ Some ppl on RUclips just do useless speedpaints that don't teach anyThing and it's so annoying and frustrating . I love her voice too . It's a sweet voice 😊👌.
Please do a new hair tutorial (it can be for half of the hair so it's shorter if you don't want to do a long one) , since the hair one doesn't have voice over :/ .
aaah I loved this! it's exactly what i've been looking for
Thank you for saying what bottons do what its usually a stuggle for me to figure out the tools since every software is different
you're still underated, you deserve more subscribers & recognitions ╥﹏╥
do u know that u are te best drawing tutorial video maker ever? 💙💙💙
I agree - I haven't found anything as helpful as this video, yet.
I'm a lost artist. I love you. You are my light and hopeee!!!! 😍
I just discovered your channel. I love your artwork and your voice. You sound like a Disney Princess 👸😃
great commentary, you should do more of these, helps a lot understanding why digital artists like yourself do certain things while creating, can't wait for the next vid :^)
LeLo Corp. I'll try to do more in the future, thank you x)
Ijust struggle on painting a skin but the tutorial, tysm!!it helped me alot!(:❤️
haha, your voice is so sweet that I could barely not focus on your tutorial video.
Amazing!
I use mouse, and prefer the wet watercolour brush often because:
-You can use it as a normal brush with max opacity
-Use it to blend colours
-Use it as a part smudge tool by keeping the Complement 0
-Use it to create colour ful gradient backgrounds
And your tutorial was very helpful!
Thanks a lot
Purnesh N you’re so talented by using a mouse! Im getting a tablet later today
@@inkywinki2254 Thank You so much! Use that tablet well ^^
@@purneshn Thanks!
Just a quarter into the video and my artwork is looking awesome thank you for the tutorial

Hi! I´m backing to paint after 10 years and your tutorials helped me a lot! I was able to paint hair and skin tanks to you. Could you please meake a lips tutorial?
Love your tutorial! 💞
CapslockCat you have no idea, how happy it is to hear that x)
Great video!!! Please, more voiceover tutorials!
I have some quest. Like we should always take base colour as brown ??? Plz reply any ...
Whenever I use watercolor over the area I just went over it makes the color more visible yet in your video it doesn't do that you had to click it again in order for it to do that
I loved the tutorial it helped a lot but I am just amazed at the fact that you drew that on computer because it’s literally impossible for me I can’t even draw a straight line correctly 🖤
Loved this video! It was very helpful on shading!
However, I do not own medibang and I use MyBrushes for mac OSX. I wonder if it is possible if you can help me find a way to make the lines I make less pixilated? Every time I draw a fine line to sketch or outline on MyBrushes, it is pixelated and highly visible. Loved the video!
thank you for your generosity to share your way to draw to us, it's really inspiring and your drawing is beautiful. By the way, can I ask for advice? Have you ever dealt with disrespectful client? or people who look down art in general? how do you cope with it? I like drawing, but sometimes I ended up being affected by their comments..
I don't understand how to use the eye dropper to blend, can someone explain plz?
great tutorial. I really needed this, thanks ! ♥️😊
Thank you for this! You're amazing as always~
i opened the brush downloadr thingy but i cant dlwnlload them

Great tutorial! Love your voice.

I have a question what if you have 3 different backgrounds colors? How would you blend?
What program is it? I use photoshop and ilustrator
1:32 Sorry to ask but do I add a lighter or darker color to my palette?

This is great, and It helped me a lot!!! Thank you so much!

Mann youre so good! But I hate that what I'm doing doesn't at all come out the same...I think it'd mostly for me the colors ig I need to understand how the colors work I thought I did but nope.-. also idk maybe it's because I don't truly fully understand the blender brush with the opacity and such ....im a mess:(
