    Love the interview. Good and relevant questions. Mike is one of the best interviewers out there. I retired from the DEA years ago and we always, always appreciated and valued the cooperation of local law enforcement, specially the county sheriff people. They were right with us, shoulder to shoulder at the thick of the shit. We share intelligence and most of the time, they had better info than us.

    Great show gentlemen, thank you. I live in Pinal Co but I wasn't aware 20 mph over posted speed is a criminal offense. I'm for sure going to keep my speed down now.

    • @Sean-i4r
      @Sean-i4r 10 месяцев назад

      Society has to change before you're gonna change any criminals. People go back to jail because, in jail they are somebody out on the streets, They are nobody, they have no family,They have no friends, whatever the case may be, but that's the answer. People need to stop and buy people I mean, society needs to stoprojecting hate. And being judgmental and profiling people that have been in trouble.

    • @DieNextInLINE
      @DieNextInLINE 9 месяцев назад

      I'm pretty sure going 20 over is a criminal offense almost anywhere. Isn't it reckless driving? Just because you're not charged, doesn't mean it's not a crime. Just like not all cops ticket for Jay walking. I could be wrong, though.

    Not all drug dealers are the characters that you have been shown on tv or heard about on TV.. I know a couple people who have sold drugs to adults only and have never been caught. They are users but not abusers of drugs and they work like your average person. They just make a little extra money and they get theirs for free for taking the risk. If you met them you would never know what they do or have done for decades..

      This is so true. I know or met a few. Most have had no trouble and moved on to other very successful lives too. But one thing they all have in common; all were purposely super mundane be it style, friends, and daily life in general.

    Id have to see the data on this. I can't believe there is more money in trafficking than drugs.
    I could be wrong, and I'd be open to being wrong, but there's just so much money in drugs, mainly because of the "war" on drugs.
    I think it's obvious that making prostitution illegal is killing women daily, and the illegality of drugs is ruining lives faster than any legal drug could.

    Wrestling and Judo are key much more than BJJ imo. BJJ is better than nothint but even the term, "wrestling" sounds better if you have to defend yourself in court.

    • @jamescorfield534
      @jamescorfield534 9 месяцев назад +1

      I agree.’BJJ’ gets confused with GJJ. Gracie jiu jitsu starts off with ‘Combative’s’, fight scenarios and the whole thing. Gracie Jits has everything fight which includes cross training for instance with mma and has their own weapons training. BJJ is the sport of grabbing that derives from GJJ. GJJ in essence is Mixed Martial arts for real world fights. No time limit stuff. Plus they have l sons just for Law Enforcement. Yeah BJJ is the most scene by the public but it’s GJJ is where it’s at combat wise.

    I do NOT believe human trafficking is making more money than narcotics.. I never seen anyone blow 2,000-5,000 a week on sex, but I've seen it from someone on drugs and they were poor, I can.imagine someone with money.. same c ould be said for sex but, I just don't believe that

    • @dustyoberg6687
      @dustyoberg6687 9 месяцев назад

      @NM50555 i do. like he said its a renewable resource, every person doesn't integrate into society. the ones who get deported end up paying for another trip over the border. those who can't afford guidance, but are desparate end up as indentured servants, or free labor. Drugs or narcotics involve overhead in either the purchase or manufacturing process of whatever substance. If you lose a load of drugs it's not coming back to you and paying for another trip over the wall.

    No offense, but what does active-duty law enforcement even mean. You mean, full-time law enforcement officer and thats all this guy was. Also, he also can't speak on federal immigration laws or policies, his local department were charging suspects under Arizona state statutes not federal. Border Patrol and CBP will only prosecute crimes under U.S.C., but immigration deportation/removals are strictly civil enforcement, not criminal enforcement. This guy acts like deportation and detention are punitive punishments.
