Gorgeous ❤
Beautiful!
Thank you. I think so too 😊
Was browsing RUclips and came across this video
Couldn’t believe it !! I have the matching gentleman’s wardrobe chest. Found her by a dumpster. She has a few bruises but she’s going to be beautiful when fixed up
Thanks for sharing
Karen from Florida 🌴💕
My pleasure. Good luck 👍
Thanks for restoring this to its real beauty....stunning that someone would paint over rosewood!!
For real. This piece was dying to be saved.
I hope you fetched a pretty penny for this gorgeous piece. I’ve never seen this style before. Beautiful. Love you channel 👍🏼🇺🇸
Thank you. But it was actually for a client.
Beautiful restoration of a VERY valuable piece that had fallen into the
hands of the Shabby Chic Bitches ! Keep up the good work !
What a change, congratulations
Thank you. It's a labor of love ❤️
After striped sooo much better. Beautiful.
Thank you 😌
Sharp looking piece great job. I recently started watching your show and enjoy it very much. And that includes your narration which I find not condescending at all. Eagerly looking forward to your next show.
"I dont know what look they were going for" - LOL
Nice work!
Thanks! I think we can all agree with that lol
A beautiful piece.
Why anyone would paint over such lovely timber is one of life's mysterys.
What on earth would possess someone to do that?
Thankfully there is you to restore it.
😁
Beautiful!!
looks awesome! great work.
Thanks 😊
Looks cool 😊
Thanks mate.
Lovely transformation. Interesting piece. Have never seen such.
Wow!! Fantastic. 👍 thanks for posting.
Very professional looking, beautiful work.
Thank you. It's not as simple as people think. It's not just stain and poly.
Beautiful beautiful work
Thanks. It's a labor of love 😊
Stunning transformation! 😍
Thank you. This piece deserved it.
That is so beautiful
Georgous piece
You did an amazing job on the nightstand! I just picked one up myself and plan to refinish it also! Question to you. Are these nightstands usually singular or do they come in a pair? Asking for sale price purposes, I have it a clue how much I should list it for 😅
Nightstands always sell better as a pair. But this piece is cool enough to where someone may want a single one for an end table.
Beautiful 😍
Excellent job!
Well at least only the top or near was gone in over near damage to the rest of the piece.
Great color match, great information.
What I god awful paint job that was.
Good information regarding the different types of stain.
👍
Thanks. My goal is to educate people with professional level information.
God awful indeed..very satisfying restoration on a piece that has great lines!
@@nancyelliott162 agreed! Thanks for watching 😊
Hello, love your work! I am working on a dresser right now, I am loving seeing all the products you use and will be trying out mohawk for my project. Just wondering why you use retarder at the end with the dura coat ? What is the purpose of the retarder ? Thank you so much in advance!!
That's a good question. Adding a splash of retarder slows down the drying time of the lacquer. If the lacquer dries too fast it will blush. Which isn't the worst thing, you spray blush retarder from the can. Good luck. I'm here if you have any questions.
Superb 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Won’t the glaze wipe off the toner? You don’t seal in between?
Surprisingly not as much as you would think. It's untraditional. But I only do it on legs and trim. I would never do it on a top or something like that.
Is the nightstand for sale?
No sorry. It was for a client.
😍😍
Amazing work, you did justice to the piece. But you could be a bit more humble - i.e. the "refinishers" comment seemed a little unnecessarily lol. Good luck.
Oh the paint was hideous, for real. It looks like a completely different piece now. I've never seen this design before. It's interesting.
Thank you 😊
Wow. That was one ugly looking piece of furniture 🤣. Thank goodness you got to work on it and made it wonderful again
Thank you. It's what I love to do.
Sorry, have to watch without sound, too preachy
No problem. Just finger that like button.
you are verbose, that's why there are so few likes, try to speak less, because your hands can do everything without words.👍
My videos are to educate. I try to be clear how and why I use certain techniques. There's always the mute button.
