My sister who does hair taught me to bleach and color hair. She told me to ALWAYS use 20 volume. She told me it is better to go low than to fry your hair.
Start low go slow!

Where are all of these wonderful hair stylist coming from? I am almost 60yrs old and have never once got the cut or the color I asked and shown in pictures. I have paid more than $400 and still came home and cried. That is why I cut and do simple color on myself because if i make a mistake, it didnt cost $400.

Same. I hate it when I need to go for a cut. I have cried so many times. And then you finally find someone that does it right and they quit and you can't find them anymore.
This makes a change from your usual bleaching reaction videos. This makes me so happy. I've done my hair platinum blonde for years, although I recently went back to copper orange which I love too.

I've been told for years that this color was not possible by US stylists across four states. I wanted to color my hair like this to ease out letting my hair go natural which is a gray and silver. Was told for years - a decade - that it was not possible.
I got my hair to this color. My cosmetologist aunt was amazed I was able to. Only stopped because the upkeep was difficult anyway, but for a while after my second child I became allergic to the bleach. Rash on my neck and even legs, plus swelling. It was very odd. Most beautiful hair choice though.

That was my grandfather’s natural hair color. Parts of mine are this white. If it were my whole head, I would stop dying it. So gorgeous.

I did dog grooming for a while, we had a very similar colored shampoo that we used for dogs that were "supposed to be pure" white. Also did some horse grooming and same stuff, purple for the white ones.
Color is amazing but the upkeep would drive me insane! 😂👍
I think the guy was growing grey hairs anyways so he wanted to speed up the process. If I was going grey I would definitely opt for overall coverage.

Beautiful. I have gray hair, it's salt and pepper. More salt than pepper ; I use Purple shampoo and conditioner , they do make my hair look whiter .

since his hair is so dark (naturally i assume?), and he dyed it icy white, i can’t imagine how crazy the dark regrowth is going to look. seems high maintenance
His beard is grey, so I suppose his hair isn't natural black.

You don't dye lighter, you bleach it lighter. Strip out the color. Dying is darker.

Why do I love these so much?
I have variegated gray hair with bits of white sprinkled in throughout it. I would love to have highlights in that color but I am too cowardly. My grandmother had hair that color as did my dad, but sadly I got my gray hair from my mom’s side. It’s silvery but it’s not white😞.
Silvery hair is so beautiful too tho, it literally looks like tinsel! I've had grey hairs since I was 5 (my whole family greys REALLY fast lol) and I'm starting to have some little silver streaks now, they look so cute, I bet yours look amazing too!

I was fine going grey early (it runs on my mom's side) as long as my hair went white or silver, rather than darker grey. A few years into getting greys, and I'm pleased to report they are a sparkling silver. 😊

I'm 65 and have shoulder length soft black/ brown hair. Any white or grey hairs seem to mostly fall out in combing. My hair is still very thick. I have some white sideburn hair on each side. I'd love to have this silver hair! I love it! My hair is very much like my dad's hair. His hair was very black in his 80s when he passed. I think bleaching is my only option.
