The first one is me! Thank you so much for reacting to me!!! I have been a fan for years and have used a lot of your tutorials and advice, and you were a huge reason i went platinum! :) It means the world to me that you found my hair cool
Brad says everyone is inspiring him when he's the reason everyone is getting the hang of at-home cuts and colors. You inspired us and gave us the tools to do it well. At least well enough if not absolutely STUNNING.
The very first person you reacted to goes to my school; every time I see her I'm just in awe of her hair. She's done a super icy blue on the ends as well as black and every time it's immaculate.
I had to go to a new hairdresser recently and holy shit the colour I got was the best I have ever gotten. Pastel blue with dark blue roots mixed with toner came out this beautiful steely blue. So glad I went to a salon than doing it myself. If anything this channel has taught me to not do certain things my self.
As someone who actually has bipolar disorder: If you’re having a manic episode every week, *please go get help!* Medication will change your life in a GREAT way. And if you don’t have bipolar disorder, you’re not having a manic episode. You’re having an intrusive thought and you’re impulsive. There’s a huge, medically diagnosable difference. Thank you.
Thank you for bringing this awareness. I have bipolar depression and manic episodes aren't something you want every week or even every couple of weeks.
Was also going to say stop glamorizing mania, it can lead to very dangerous situations, thoughts and actions. A few days into a manic episode can completely change a person life. Bipolar isn’t cute or fun.
Yeah exactly, my neighbour has it and last time he was in an episode he stole a car and fought the three cops who came to arrest him 🙄 he didn’t carefully curate and film a cute hairstyle. Mental health appropriation isn’t cute
I'm not bipolar, but I also reacted on when they were glamorizing it. I absolutely hate when people use mental disorders to describe "quirky" behavior...
It’s great that they are taking their time to apply the color. The planning is on point. We tell our students to always game plan what they will be doing and then work the plan. Never just jump in without a game plan!
Cool, that's what I been doing too! This purple & red is a wig that I colored. It looks like my real hair anyway. It's the same texture and everything. It's human hair wig I won't wear synthetic wigs. I'm sure yours are human hair too because you can't dye a synthetic wig. I do hair for a living but I have a bad hair addiction ,so I'm trying to stop dying my hair for a while. It's hard not to want to change your haircolor specially working in the salon and seeing all those cool colors of hair. I'm surprised my hair hasnt fell out, been coloring it since I was 12 and I'm almost 48. I'm glad I don't look my age yet. My daughter will be 31 in November and people think we're sisters. Okay I'm sorry but miss girl's orange transformation at 12:15 is STUNNING. I literally wish I looked like her, what beautiful hair. Mine is super curly (wish it was wavy like hers) and I've been contemplating just chopping it all off, it's summer where I live so the humidity is just making my hair look like frizz central. Her long, gorgeous hair is literally what I wish mine looked like right now. I know they say the grass is always greener on the other side but I can't get over the beauty of her hair, I want it so bad lol.
I wore my hair purple throughout the time I was growing it in from pixie to below the waist length. I was seeing a colorist then, we never bleached it. Indoors, the purple was very subtle looking, but outdoors it lit up like neon. I LOVED it. My girls asked me to go back to red for their wedding pictures, I get that. Now I'm dark auburn (thanks esalon) and contemplating growing in my gray. I'm in love with your Rhodolite color, perhaps that will be my background as I grow my hair in?

Just wanna add: saying "I have a manic episode every week" and her not showing any signs of mania or even hypomania, is really not helpful to us living with Bipolar disorder, in many ways. Other than that great vid as usual! ☺️
I was trying to think of 3 words to describe these ppl, phenomenally fierce and fearless, the amount of times my jaw dropped to the floor at the same time you looked shook, lol if only I had that talent with my own hair, goals
Yeah. It is tho. Maybe not for you. I used to dye my hair, cut it, I’d rearrange my house. Take everything off of my walls cuz it was too much. It’s different for everyone. There are SOME people who are blatantly having a manic or psychological issue that’s causing them to damage themselves. By doing it themselves. If it can’t wait and you have to spend $100 on dye and fixer.:: and bleach and more.
How are you gonna tell them that that’s not a manic episode. !? Do you not have bipolar? It’s not always black out insanity. In a ball rocking, disassociating
I have the same EXTREME layers (shorter hair) and silvery white blonde the first girl has (with a shadow root of my natural color - ginger - because I thought it would be fun to make sure people still know I am a ginger - so it's almost like the HIGHEST-UP balayage EVER). I had dyed it this GORGEOUS silver (like, actual silver - not silvery blonde) a couple of months ago and it looked sooo amazing but it only lasted a month. Now I'm back to silvery blonde, which I love (and knowing that would happen is why my stylist, whom I love, made sure with me to get my blonde underneath as silver-white as possible before dying it silver). Now I've been playing around with purple or pink like I used to do when I was younger, but not wanting to fully commit to a full head. This idea is GENIUS - and I am strongly considering getting some XMONDO color to try it out because my stylist said as long as I use a color depositing conditioner or something similar, she'll still be able to bleach again at my next appointment and redo the silver. Hmmm. So tempting. That girl is creatively GENIUS.
When I use temporary color I find if I leave it on for over an hour the colors don't bleed between each other when I rinse it out, and the color lasts way longer. I swear with Overtone the water runs clear so fast during the rinse-off process too, like all the color just got locked into my hair. This isn't scientific at all, but it's what I experience! The longer I leave the temp color on, the better the result.
i would probably get myself in trouble with the first one, because i would be the one that would not be able to stop starring for hours at her and her hair. AND i never thought in a million years that i would ever see that hair style the feathered bangs that was huge in the entire 70's , 80's and first few years of the 90's and her hair cut is exactly what was the most common for about 2 and a half decades both on men and women. I was so excited to see that same style in real time today. On her it looks sooooooo good. And her new idea of that color on the tips i just cannot stop starring lol. That has got to be my favorite color of all colors, but i do love purples and dark chocolate and coffee brown tones to lol i am a mess xD sorry.

When will people understand a manic episode isn't dyeing your hair, it's a legitimate medical mental state. PLEASE stop calling everything a manic episode and making things harder for those of us that genuinely do. It's not fun to spend all of your money in 1 sitting or hallucinate so bad you have to be hospitalized.
I think she might actually be manic though she seems very all over the place just off Side note for people who don’t know what a manic episode looks like my grandma is bipolar and when she’s manic she calls a million times she tells us she’s gonna move out of her house and live in assisted living she orders a bunch of unnecessary things on Amazon gives random strangers money then she goes into a depressive state a few days later where she lays in her bed and refuses to get out she has crohns and a bag she lets it explode and burn her skin and lays in well yeah obviously this is when she’s off her meds mental health is very important please everyone make sure you’re taking care of yourself
@@tarynriver She said she has a manic episode every week.. It would be extremely rare for someone to have bipolar that cycles that rapidly, though not impossible. Regardless, when Brad commented "I also have manic episodes every week" he was seriously downplaying or misunderstanding a very real mental health issue
She said she was in a manic episode, so she decided to cut and dye her hair. Not that she was manic by doing it. I would assume to focus the energy? Can't mania have a variant range of intensity too? I feel like most conditions can very in degree and presentation. Especially in the details. I maybe wrong, but I think I understand your sentiment though. For example people who have genuine OCD, compared to someone who might just have traits that fit in that kind of diagnosis and loosely use the term. I can see how that would make the people who have it so intensely and debilitating, that when people use the term loosely, it feels like it underminds its seriousness for others.
❤️ I loved the transformations. I am not a hairdresser. But, I have done crazy colors on my hair for many years. I find with manic panic, I have to let it sit for an hour, wash out , cool dry and repeat the process one more time to get optimal brightness..
I had to pause at 26 seconds in, because I have Scentbird and I have to say… it has been one of the absolute nicest gifts to myself! I had no idea what “my scent” was anymore because my EX husband complained if I wore perfume. I loved Curve when I was younger, then Ralph Lauren Romance but since I stopped wearing any around 07/08… when I smelled it again it just wasn’t for me. Post divorce, it’s been an exciting adventure and I LOVE getting to explore and experiment every month (and with some that are too $$$ to buy without knowing if I even LIKE it, by example Ex Nihlo’s The Hedonist is probably my FAVORITE but Arquiste Peau? PU! It smells like if play doh and dirty gym socks were sprayed with Lysol)… anyway… I just wanted to say that I love it. Even on a bad hair day, I get to smell pretty 🥰
I've been watching brad for the last 6 years and I've been so inspired that I've coloured my hair crazy so many times but then I coloured it green and it just worked so beautifully on me that I've had it for last two years and now that the green is completely out of my hair I just don't know what new colour I should go for. I have a feeling that this will be the last time I can colour my hair anything crazy and I'm just so attached to the green but I also don't wanna miss out on my last chance for something new.
WOW these are amazing. I need to film myself doing my friends hair when I colour it next for her. I'm not a colourist but I love colouring her hair and my own. The comments she gets on her hair afterwards are always so positive. I think the best hair transformation I did on here was , green , purple , blue and pink. It looked amazing if I do say so myself ( bows). ❤

Regardless, when Brad commented "I also have manic episodes every week" he was seriously downplaying or misunderstanding a very real mental health issue
@@rae6390 yes his comment was I was thinking maybe manic from bpd not bipolar cause that is more of a rapid cycle
If you're manic every week you probably have borderline personality disorder not bipolar.
That girl with the spider tattoo is absolutely stunning!
Just FYI, the second girl is doing what the instruction says - Manic Panic is "wait for up to 2 hours", so 1.5 hours is perfectly reasonable
❤️ I loved the transformations. I am not a hairdresser. But, I have done crazy colors on my hair for many years. I find with manic panic, I have to let it sit for an hour, wash out , cool dry and repeat the process one more time to get optimal brightness..
I would love it if you made your hair product scent as a body spray or perfume. It smells so delish.
The first reminds me of Jouno!! Any other BsD fans? Also, that’s a HUGE compliment because Jouno is fineeee
Brad is so happy and hyped up! With good reason. These color results are 🔥!
Your eyebrows are divine. So jealous! Mine are so thin because I plucked them so much when I was younger. 🤦🏻♀️
Love your transformation react vids, just good heartwarming consumable content.
I really liked the styling bit at the beginning. You have such cool style and I love when you talk about it
I just want to say, thank you Brad Mondo. You gave my sister the confidence to cut her own hair…which resulted in uneven bangs and ends…💜
The person that did the purple hair looked like ryan gosling and I mean that in the most flattering way!
I ❤ when Brad gets speechless 😂… priceless 😊
#3--the mullet!!! GORGEOUSSSSS OMG! I was SHOOK.
These people are slaying! I WANT MORE OF THIS
I've been watching brad for the last 6 years and I've been so inspired that I've coloured my hair crazy so many times but then I coloured it green and it just worked so beautifully on me that I've had it for last two years and now that the green is completely out of my hair I just don't know what new colour I should go for. I have a feeling that this will be the last time I can colour my hair anything crazy and I'm just so attached to the green but I also don't wanna miss out on my last chance for something new.
“An hour and a who?!” 😂
😂
She called you out Brad. That third transformation was fire.
These are AMAZING!! Everyone did such a great job. I'm inspired. 🖤
That moment when your head flew through the space... love to see the editing keeping up with your reaction
Please come out with a copper semi permanent color. There's a big market for it because there's not many options available currently.
When I was watching him discuss the first hairstyle and then I noticed her necklace! THAT IS THE MOST COOLEST NECKLACE EVER!!!
I wish I could like this video 100000000 times ! That was SO satisfying
The fact that some people can do these masterpieces at home on their OWN head is outstanding!!! Mine would be soooo patchy
It’s a good Sunday when Brad uploads a new video
I want to watch a tv show with the lime green and blue mullet hair person on it, I love their energy lol
Also I want that orange flame hair badly
WOW these are amazing. I need to film myself doing my friends hair when I colour it next for her. I'm not a colourist but I love colouring her hair and my own. The comments she gets on her hair afterwards are always so positive. I think the best hair transformation I did on here was , green , purple , blue and pink. It looked amazing if I do say so myself ( bows). ❤
Big ups to the video editor... love the devil horns and fire effect. 😍
I've never colored my hair but that rainbow is giving me life
Loving the red tips
I let directions sit for an hour too. I feel like it doesnt bleed anymore then. Never had issues.
