YES!! I was one. Who went in after Halloween to ask for help on returning my hair to brown , light brown at that, from the who knows what black hair color for Halloween wear that did NOT wash out !! As the box claimed it would ! Even the salon said sorry, let's cut, allow to grow out, deep condition, as I did not have the box so they could da deep dive on ingredients , any phone numbers etc they could use to contact about anything ! Took awhile but they kept it under total control. !! Bless all stylists who fix our messes !
I love that she donated her hair. When I had treatment and lost my hair, I got a wig from a charity that makes them.. I cried, mum cried, the lady who fitted and cut the wig cried. They make you feel like you get some control back.. I’ve got to have the treatments, medicine, 100 days in hospital.. but if I feel up to it I can have fabulous hair and feel like me again.
that's amazing! my mom has ovarian cancer and got a donated wig, it's literally virgin hair without treatment and impressive af I wish whoever made it expanded more bc they are local
I let my hair grow until it was waist length twice to donate it, I hope the people who got it were as happy as you got when you got your wig.
Most places can't use highlighted hair, so she most likely can't donate it, or it will just end up in the trash at the facilities. According to my research, in the cases where lightened hair is accepted, it CAN'T be more than 10in long, so once more, it's probably going to end up in the trash 😢.

Brad, as a parent, there is one universal truth. Craft scissors don't cut paper.... but leave them with your 6 and four year old, and someone is getting a haircut. 😂
And in combination with any kind of markers or paint, someone is getting *at least* some highlights.
The first girls hair was so long, gorgeous, thick, and healthy.......and when she said "why is no one stopping me" I was thinking the same thing!
Because she was probably home alone 😂😭 cuz who in their right mind if they are a good friend or family member would rightfully stop her or at least help her lol

When she said squiggly craft scissors, I figured that's all she had on hand. The way I screamed when she opened an Amazon package! I got a set of regular hair shears & thinning shears on Amazon Prime for around $7 that work beautifully. I looked up her pack of squiggly scissors and they're the same price!
The blonde girl's reaction was adorable! My hair was down to my waist, and I finally chopped off about 4" last night! It's crazy how much healthier my hair looks and feels; I wish I did it sooner!

I have my hair cut into a v rn. I was tired of straight across and my front pieces always break off so I added face framing and blended it into the v. I love the way it looks. And I don’t style my hair ever, I just blow dry it halfway and air dry the rest.
My mum braided my long hair into two braids when I was a kid, and then she cut off the ends of them because she thought it looked cute 🙃

When I gave birth to my son my hair was past my bottom!!! After I delivered him it was above my shoulders in one BIG knot!! I had to use a whole bottle of conditioner to get it out. Once home I realized it was very difficult to breast feed him because I couldn't put it up because it gave me a headache and if it was down he would pull on it. Now I have some THICCKK hair!!! So I had my stepmom take me to get it cut and she actually left the salon because she said she couldn't watch me cut it all off (she has fine hair that takes forever to grow unlike me). When she came back she broke down in tears, I cut it to above my shoulders and was able to donate 16 inches of natural, never processed hair!! This was also the first time I learned about donating hair!! My son is now 25 and I now have short hair on top and the sides and back shaved and I LOVE IT!!! My hair is now easy to take care of !!! I love your videos !!!!! And I love all of your products, I just recently dyed my hair with the Rhodolite and love it!!!! Wish I could afford to use it always but I am currently out of work!! My Mom got me the color this time !!!!

Yesterday, I finally did my fringe properly - curtain bangs. Wet, pulled from one side to the other, and trimmed at the perfect angle. Not gonna lie, it looks incredible. Thank you, beautiful! 💜

I feel like watching my sister cut Barbie’s hair growing up with a horrified face prepared me for these Brad Mondo videos lol. I tried so hard for my mom to not let her do it. Eventually my sister started cutting her hair 😅 love my sister hahaha
i feel like long haired girls should go ask for heavy layers with the top layer being as high as they want to go short, just to see if what they really needed was just less weight, not less length - i think many ppl truly want to go full short, but some might just not know what a huge difference tons of layers can do and how much lighter it can feel

I followed the butterfly cut tutorial a week ago & my hair is so cute. I have very thin hair & lost a ton when I got Covid from the high fever so my hair was uneven & in odd lengths from the regrowth, after cleaning up the A line type front pieces it was perfect & has cute layers that make my hair look so much thicker

I have thin hair too and have been wanting to try out the butterfly cut but I also have super straight hair and don’t want it to look all choppy on me… the layers I have now only look good if I curl my hair or do a proper blowout with rollers etc. Can I ask if your hair straight or curly or wavy?? Just wanna know if we have similar looking hair since it looks good on you!
@@ashroberts637 my hair has some natural body wave in it so it's definitely not straight. One of my classmates with super straight hair cut short layers in & even with thick hair it wasn't the most flattering on her & she absolutely hated it. I have to ask though how does your hair take drying it with a round brush?

I did the same thing. Cut my hair from hips length to a chin length bob. And it felt soo good. No more being invisible behind that hair „blanket” or just having my hair up in a messy bun.

I agree with you I followed your tutorial on how to cut hair at home. I got so many compliments on how it looked even and was beautiful. I never was able to cut my hair before even when I was a hair stylist because it's always easier to do someone else's hair.

I cut my hair about two months ago at home and went from hair to my butt (which I had my whole life btw) to shoulder length, donated the cut parts and went to a hair salon to get a wolf cut. best decision of my life!! my mother was more emotional about cutting it than I was. xD

Squiggle scissors are crazy. That’s a first for me.
My hair grew SO much in the last year when I was pregnant. Thick curly and down to my butt! At about 8 months postpartum I gave myself a pretty good chop with your butterfly cut tutorial and added long curtain bangs to hide the hairline thinning and regrowth patches that happened after the baby came. Love the lightness and texture now!
The last girl in the blue T-shirt had the most gorgeous hair I’ve ever seen 😭 everything I’ve ever wanted, long, thick, perfect waves, and black. Like I would do anything for hair like that 😭 so that one hurt me
My hair is to my waist rn, but it’s grown out from a very layered somewhat jellyfish like shag cut, so it’s only Abt 1/4 of my hair that’s that length. That part is also very bleach damaged, and so super dry and thin (I swear I loose more hair everyday) my hair has never been super thick, but not super thin, I’d say average. I can’t help but feel it’s thinning though, I may be delusional 😭 I’m so attached to my hair I feel so horrible when I cut it or loose so much from brushing
I cut off all my hair in 2018. It was to my waist and I cut it up to my shoulders. Its now currently between my bra back and lower back. My hair grows fast.

That is so true about what you said, a great hairdresser will cut your hair and it air dries beautifully. I have been going to a new hairdresser and I love her! I got curtain bangs and with my natural wave pattern they dry so pretty, if I don’t feel like styling them. 💗

Dude I bought a really sharpe nice pair of actual hair cutting scissors off Amazon for literally $12 & they’re amazing. I don’t understand why ppl use kitchen scissors or craft scissors when they can just get those for the same price ❤
I cut six inches off my hair a while back. It went from midway down my back to shoulder length. It was so weird to feel my hair sway a bit when I turned a harsh corner in my car. I thought it was a spider the first time it happened. 😂
