@Kendall Dyck Many many many people have had unprofessional "therapists," they do no vetting of their "therapists," people get shuffled around to different providers with zero warning, people have been given contradictory and DANGEROUS advice (things like MEDICATIONS and bad eating advice), etc
@Kendall Dyck People have reported tons of awful experiences on BH. Everything from their data not being secure to their TOS skirting around HIPAA, to their therapists not being licensed. People have recorded and shared videos of sessions where their "therapist" was trauma dumping on them, in the car or grocery shopping while doing their session, saying awful things that no licensed professional should be saying, etc. People have been overcharged or charged after cancelling. It's a huge hit or miss with some people having an okay experience and lots of people being harmed or scammed.
I am a therapist and better help created a fake profile for me that says I specialize in things I do not specialize in. And when people try to book through my profile they say I am all full and then recommend their own therapists. They have also refused to remove any of these profiles even though THOUSANDS of therapists have been asking for them to do so!
Brad's silent scream over bad haircuts is my favorite thing. I'm just sorry people still don't listen to his advice after all these years
The people doing bad cuts are usually having a bad time and not thinking right 😆
I commend this generation. When we cut our bangs at home (without video guides of any kind mind you) we had to live with the shame until it grew out. These guys not only film the process but are totally comfortable posting their mistakes for the world. ☺️
No one paid us for our mistakes. It’s amazing what you’re comfortable doing when you can get paid.

I love this brad. It never fails to amuse me how it's the same type of video for years now, and yet we are all collectively shocked at every fail lol
For the last 3 years my fringe (bangs!) have looked perfect every time they're cut. Why? Because I finally accepted that I was no good at doing them and go to my hairdresser to get them trimmed! Note: this also makes my hairdresser a lot less stressed, because sorting out the chunky uneven messes I would walk in with was a bit cruel.

straight bangs have always looked bad on me but when i got a wolf cut, they matched good since it went well with the sides.... but then it grew out and i wanted my bangs cut so i got them cut them straight again and it looked like i got hime bangs- and it was the day before a school trip and i was so sad cuz it was also a little too short
Some people's hair and faces are made for them. Not many people look good in them though. You have to have a combination of angular and soft features

SAME! I felt attacked when he said no to straight bangs! I've had straight bangs for years now and I don't think I'll ever grow them out. Lol. Sometimes I switch it up and cut v-bangs, but I love straight bangs so much!!

Pretty sure those giant scissors were fabric scissors. I have a couple larger pairs (though not that ginormous for sure!) and I'm genuinely impressed that she managed to hold them in that angle long enough to cut the whole bang, because holy moly are those things heavy!! I literally rest them against the surface I'm cutting on while cutting! 😵
Yep! I think they were an older style. When I see them used typically they're cutting fabric on a table with the bottom blade resting on said table.

They were exposed for lying & having unlicensed therapists on their platform as well.
@@SimplyLetitaaa unlicensed therapists were working there giving therapy when they had no business doing so, a profesional knows how to manage a situation, a person without their license could also be pretending they had knowledge when maybe they aren't even psychologist
I had a terrible experience with Better Help (they kept sending me questionnaires and telling me to fill out a diary without any actual help or feedback, encouraged an unhealthy approach to food, etc.), but it has the potential to be SO helpful for people who don't have access to in-person therapy, can't afford it, or are looking for discreet help by text/email. It's a shame that it hasn't delivered on its promises, but I really hope they can turn things around. A platform like that could do a lot of good.
I've been cutting my own bangs for almost 30 years and the only times it goes bad is if I have a special event the next day. But in those 30 years I've learned to not pull them down, not cut them wet and never cut them under any influence.

I cut them few weeks ago and they turned out okay. I failed a little bit, because I cut them too wide (if you know what I mean) but luckily its not really obvious for other people. Its fine for my first time cutting hair haha

Nah side bangs need to come back! I’m bored of seeing everyone with the exact same middle part, curtain bangs/butterfly cut.. I’ve been peer pressured into having a middle part for far too long😂 I finally moved on to side bangs and it was the best decision 🙌🏻

What kills me is when they mess up their hair then say “ I’ll go to the salon tomorrow to get it fixed”. Just go the first time
I mean I get it, I started cutting my own hair recently and I always reassure myself by saying "if I fuck it up, I'll go to the salon to get it fixed" because I prefer to do it at home myself. And I haven't messed up so far! (Thanks to our boy here) so I haven't had to go to the salon for over a year and it's great
I mean why? If you do it right the first time, you'll save yourself alot of money. If you mess up, you can go anyway

1. Bangy-bang girl's mom was using (not inexpensive!) dress-making shears to cut Daughter's hair.
2. Don't let it get to stomach pains Brad! I've been teaching for DECADES, and realizing the following has kept those pains (& the migrains) to a minimum for me : Although I may have answered X question or explained Y concept 1,000,000 times, it's probably the FIRST (or maybe 2nd) time that particular student has ever heard it.
3. Thanks for trying to teach us how to take care of our hair! I'm still working on my Wolf Cut. I figure by September.... 😁✌
Don't use betterhelp y'all. Accusations against them include: selling your personal information to third party advertisers, underpaying therapists, having underqualifed or otherwise bad quality therapists, listing therapists in their website who arent affiliated and didnt consent
Brad, not all of us can pull off a center part with curtain bangs. Some of us have to wear an off center part - which ends up in a side swept bang.
The side swept bangs are awesome! It definitely needs to make a comeback.

Just have to say at the start: Love the hair. It always looks so good. Also, from someone else who loves matcha, be careful with it. It does contain caffeine, so if you have anxiety (or are on medication for it) the caffeine in matcha (or strong coffee or tea) can interfere with medication. I found this out the hard way several years ago. Hugs to you!!

I’m sorry but you’re absolutely wrong. What are you talking about? Ginger ale and root beer do NOT contain caffeine. They never have.
Hot chocolate/hot cocoa has a negligible amount of caffeine- in fact it’s qWAYYYYY less than a cup of coffee. 1/19th of the average amount to be exact. An 8oz serving of hot cocoa contains about 5mg of caffeine while an 8oz serving of drip coffee on AVERAGE has 95mg of caffeine. You’d have to drink several GALLONS of cocoa in order to consume anywhere near an amount of caffeine that could cause an interference/reaction with medication.

You should do a review and compare on the cheap scissors, combs and basic stuff from like dollar tree vs. Sally’s. It’s definitely been hit or miss for me 😂

We have cuticle scissors, 2nd grade scissors, vintage scissors and thinning shears but no scissors for hair. Nothing good can become of this. I love these videos.
I always give myself short Bettie bangs so I never have any of these problems these girls were having 😂 been doing it for years it doesn’t scare me anymore. The feeling of doing them for the first time was definitely terrifying and I went through some not so great hair phases but I’ve got it down now 🤷🏻♀️
