The Dewalt looks like a nicely designed unit. Adam from Hometown had a great video showing how he permanently mounted one in his garage for easy access. Maybe that'd be an idea for this for you Brock, for another video on it.
I see they have "Cold Water Pressure washer" written on the side of the box. This winter is one where a good warm/hot water pressure washer setup would have been helpful for defrosting frozen ground water lines. Thought about running a regular one from a tank of heated water but the gas pressure washer i run requires a certain amount of line pressure on the incoming water line. Something smaller like that which doesn't require a huge generator and pressurized tank setup on the back of a pickup truck would be really handy. Maybe one that can take heated water from a spill tank with no added line pressure. Thanks for the video!
You'll destroy the pump trying to run hot water through most pressure washers, they're not designed for it, blows the seals out of them. They do have hot water models but they're extremely expensive and typically not found in portable lightweight units.
I bought a Karcher K1800PS. Super compact with turbo nozzle. Works really good. I have no use for my gas unit now! These have come a long way since my first electric unit. I do like the frame on that dewalt though, Karcher had some similar ones but not that robust!
Howdy Brock! I need a new power washer this spring... I'm way behind on a lot of projects that involve getting washed. Nice review and thanks for sharing 🤠
I have a similar electric setup from Sunjoe. I use a foam cannon nozzle for cleaning equipment and it’s super fast and easy. Btw, it seems most equipment manuals say not to use pressure washers for cleaning. Apparently forces dirt, grit, and water into bearings and other unwanted places. I only use the widest fan to rinse off the foam.
I have the same pressure washer. Used a few times then no power. No lights or reset of inline GFI. Took it apart and could not find any signs of corrosion or burnt fuse. Had to get rid of the GFI, attach a replacement plug, and good to go. Just make sure it's plugged into a GFCI now. Other then leaking wand and GFI pretty handy. Edit, oh ya the hose sucks, replace with Uberflex!
Seams nice. I've thinking about get one of the battery hand held power washer jobs that's like 500psi for use at work when I don't need to drag out the honda powered hotsy
Those things don't work very well if you have caked on dirt, mud, etc. Ok to rinse off a vehicle but if its really filthy those battery powered ones are a waste of money...a regular nozzle will work just as well at that point LOL.
I have an AR Blue Clean pressure washer but its only 1800PSI. Works good on vehicles though. The higher the pressure and smaller the nozzle tip the more likely you are to cause severe paint damage with a pressure washer on a vehicle....so the lower PSI works fine for me and a wide angle nozzle. After the pump in my gas pressure washer failed I decided against buying another gas unit because the turning the engine off and having to start it back up between uses is counter-productive...the electric model starts and stops the pump when you squeeze or release the trigger. The complaint I have with most pressure washers is the high pressure hoses they come with are garbage. I need to replace mine with a good rubber hose instead of that garbage plastic stuff.
I wish the standard connector for the pressure hose was the same as the nozzle connector. Screwing and unscrewing the standard connectors gets old, and if there's any corrosion or debris they can be difficult to tighten or loosen. The swirl tip nozzles are great, but you have to be careful with them. They'll damage wood and strip a decal off of a piece of equipment before you know it.
You can get quick couplers and put on your handle and wands to make them quick to break down for storage...I need to do it on mine.....I leave the wand together on the pressure washer I have but it would be nice to be able to take it apart without having to unscrew it, especially if I want to add another section of wand.
@@wildbill23cThat's what I've done on my gas pressure washer. But if you put those on this one, you can't store the wand handle in the unit anymore. It's custom fitted :(
This would be for occasional use and light use. This won’t be good for washing the entire house or driveway. IMO I’m curious on how long the motor will last.
I have a big wet/dry shop vacuum by another maker. It’s battery operated and takes two large rechargeable batteries. I don’t know if that would be possible with a heavier duty unit like pushing water….but it sure is convenient.
"Warning: If you buy this product in the Los Angeles Area you must travel to Ontario for service. My unit's telescoping handle broke after 6 months. It is not eligible for online service."
You'll find that even the higher pressure units that do take off a lot of staining leave very unsightly wand marks. They actually make an attachment for pressure washers that keeps the spray at an even consistent level for cleaning cement - the job ends up looking a lot better.

Amazing that i cannot find one single video review of the 3000 psi version.
Heres one for you..i bought one and had it a week and it stopped working. Its an overpriced p.o.s.

Good morning Brock. You're going to love that turbo nozzle. God bless and have a wonderful day 👍👍🙂
That looks perfect for what I need. All I need it for is to wash lawn equipment....
I got one for some more intense car washing, and it’s great, love it

Helpful video. Turbo seemed a little less effective but may have been camera angle. Still appears to be a decent unit for basic homeowner needs.

Sunjoe is Walmart brand the cheapest one you could’ve bought
Yep I’m aware. And?
@@petep7227 and your comparing to a dewalt ? Don’t see a problem ? I’d assume not as the base level iq for sunjoe owners is 60
@@SilverBull-r3cwhat does it matter what brand it is? That wasn’t the point of my comment whatsoever. I was commenting on using a foam cannon.

I like it for what it is. What I want is an extension for the water to the sprayer for mine 25 feet can be a pain sometimes.
Good review Brock. Should be adequate for most jobs around the place.
Thanks
@@RockhillfarmYT That rain coming in is a slow mover, it rained ALL DAY here.
Brock, Nice product review
Thanks

@wildbill23c ya mostly wanted to use one to degrease engines a wheel hubs since a hose won't knock off the overly greased parts.

I agree on the hoses
How long is the hose?

Good points. That turbo nozzle was actually chipping the concrete.

I love this thing but the soap dispenser sucks
53 minutes late ,checking the flooding and animals and what is drawing the electric from my fence
I think he should do concrete or would….wasking mud of a tire isn’t that big a deal
Really like the product review but you could of picked a better weather day.
Didn’t do a very good job on the cement, disappointed
I meant to comment on that during the video, but with the turbo nozzle, it was popping up little chunks of concrete
