    key is dont get right on the bike with the wand, keep a little distance and your bike will be fine

      True story. Some people have a hard time with that concept. They're probably the same ones that put 1 quarter in the DIY wash bay, suds up the brush, and go to town on their 89 Accord. Reason #672 why I don't use the brushes at the DIY wash places.

    I love Chemical Guys products. Very cool pressure washer. 😎

      +1 to both of those, so +2? It's a neat pressure washer, and since I store it in my porch, where I watch TV, edit videos, etc. etc., this one's a boon because it doesn't block the signal for my cable box, LOL.

    I bought one of the foam blaster bottles that connects on end of my pressure washer off Amazon for like $10 and that thing works great

    Is it safe to wash the speakers?, I believe the sound system is sensitive to moisture…

    • @RoadReality
      @RoadReality  10 месяцев назад +1

      I wouldn't blast them with high-pressure water, but the foam cannon or one of the lower-pressure nozzles shouldn't hurt them. You can ride a Harley in the rain without damaging the speakers, so I wouldn't think that just getting them soapy or wet would hurt them.

  • @kevinpalardy8592
    @kevinpalardy8592 4 месяца назад +1

    Hmm question.. why didn't you pressure wash off the soap?

    • @RoadReality
      @RoadReality  4 месяца назад

      Ahh, good question! It's because I like to do an extra rinse, and with lower pressure, there's less risk of getting water in somewhere it shouldn't. It's surprising, the number of motorcycles I've seen that won't start or run right because water got in somewhere it's not supposed to.

    • @kevinpalardy8592
      @kevinpalardy8592 4 месяца назад +1

      @@RoadReality oh interesting! Makes a lot of sense, and I'm guessing with the power of the foam you don't need that extra rinse power. Looking to buy this washer for my car. Is it still going good today?

    • @RoadReality
      @RoadReality  4 месяца назад

      @@kevinpalardy8592 The rinse to me is just to get the soap and broken-up dirt off the vehicle, so it needs volume, not pressure.
      The pressure washer is going great, I highly recommend it

    Can the foam canon connect directly to the handle without the extensions?

    • @RoadReality
      @RoadReality  8 месяцев назад

      I don't think so - it connects to the quick release fitting on the end of the wand.

    Love getting new tools/toys!! Looks good!! I usually use Addams cleaning products but do have some Chemical Guys

    • @RoadReality
      @RoadReality  2 года назад

      Yeah man! It works great and is so small! I mean, I should've known all the tools were INSIDE of it, but I didn't pay attention to THAT part of the instructions :D
      Addams, huh? How do you like their stuff compared to Chemical Guys?

  • @hfjeff2736
    @hfjeff2736 Год назад +1

    You got pretty good foam from your setup. Mine surges with an Amazon foam cannon (not chemical guys Torq). Not sure if it is an issue with the pressure washer or foam cannon (1.2mm orifice). Nice review of this pressure washer. I plan on permanently mounting in the garage with hose reel.

    • @RoadReality
      @RoadReality  Год назад +1

      Nice! I'd love a more permanent setup! Yeah, if you're getting surging, I would look at the pressure washer first - mine was doing that because of a leak internal to the pump. This thing just CRANKS compared to my old one.

      @@hfjeff2736 Ouch - hopefully they take care of you. All the reviews I read about THIS Dewalt were that it was fantastic and could take a lot of abuse... which is apparently something I need all my tools to be able to do :D
      About the bike - THANKS! It's Billiard Blue, a 1-year color on the Harley touring bikes. My wife picked it out, haha!

    Nice looking washer. Like the compactness, is that a word? Maybe when mine dies, I'll replace it with this.

    • @RoadReality
      @RoadReality  2 года назад +1

      The compactness [spell check doesn't barf on it, so it's a word IMO] is a huge benefit! We'll see how this one holds up, but so far so good... and it'll get a workout in a week or so - I'm gonna do the rest of my driveway :D
