During SL I bumped into a chap riding the Black Qiraji war mount sporting his Scarab Lord title. I took a moment to msg my guy my respects. My man spent 20/30min showing me some of the most crazy shit he had accumulated, one of which being the corrupted ashbringer. My guy had all the pvp titles, done all raids throughout the years, it was mad.
i mean if it werent for players who are no lifers, the concept of owning such items would be non existent. instead, paranoia about how the system is rigged or etc. and not an achieveable goal. what im saying is they kind of help solidify goals/ideals for the community which helps the game/community. imo people who hate on those who have a rare item are insecurely jealous... but thats just me @@ianover6838

But I really like how there are rare things like this that you just cannot possibly get anymore. more games need to include shit like that, I feel like it would be very motivating, rewarding and they could do it with literally any type of game.

Eehhhhh the sword was the only cool thing about the mog. The gloves and pants are overused in green plated outfits tbh. The helmet is yeah meh, but the shoulders are cool.

There's ZERO reason why classic content is the only legacy content that we can't Timewalk or talk to Zodormi to access... The elitists have had their time being the only ones with the old stuff for long enough, and this is coming from someone who has many very rare/high status items, some of which are no longer available. Sure, it may feel good to feel special, but I would NEVER wish for my items to become exclusive just because I got them first... Any items you can earn through traditional gameplay should always continue to be available. I've wanted the Corrupted Ashbringer since I first learned about it, which was only less than a year before it was removed... It's not my fault I started playing WoW too late to get it in time, I wasn't old enough to own a computer then, and even if I was, it's also not my fault for not anticipating that it would be removed... which btw is something Blizzard stopped doing because they realized that it was a huge mistake to lock new players out of old content... I personally think we should be able to stomp the classic instances like all the other legacy content, but I can already hear the screeching of elitist man-children who never learned to share. So I'd gladly accept having to earn it through a timewalking event, I may even prefer it that way, just bring it back already...

Dude... it had a 0.5 % drop rate back in Naxx classic. You probably weren't gonna see it. If it did drop, a Warr would roll bc the 2h mace drop is better for Palys.

Im not sure which version this item was in, but some people saying he kept it on an alt and then later when DKs came out and maybe later than that items became account bound and therefore could trade to his DK. Or he just got it from WoTLK Naxx lol

Not true. OG Naxx Closed in 3.0 of WOTLK, long after DK's were out and if you ran the raid you could acquire it on a DK until that point.
