I got invited to Molten Core on a whim (another mage did not show up). The RL asked if I had all blues. I did not and just bought some blues on the auction house. Some of them were for strictly speaking for rogues. RL never commented and I was lucky to upgrade those crappy items pretty fast.
The thing I remember about those slimes for Frogger is that instead of running directly between, it's usually safer to run closer to the one moving towards the slime due to, idk, I guess server latency, so the server probably sees you as directly between them despite you being closer to the leading ones back. Shits easy as shit after you get that, but if new it can be deceptive, and I do recall their hitboxes being a bit deceptive too, at least just a bit, but I think most of that was because of the latency part.
That's good, because as the Gus of Gusses, it's nice to know that my existence in the team isn't going to literally ruin the gameplay experience for everyone else, which is the reason I tend to avoid higher end content in multiplayer games.
@@Weffi76 That's what you should hate about all versions of WoW, because even the easiest dungeons or raids can be made tryhard by the most horrible of guildmates. Those who take this game too seriously are fucking terrible at the game. The game is meant to be fun, not miserable. Asmongold thankfully supports fun and seriousness together. It's good to mega stomp a raid with no issue, but also good to watch anyone like Gus get killed by simply breathing. As long as you can still pull it together in the end, there should never be an issue, but some players really just hate fun
I fully understand the Decision with the Tank Gear. We did the same during the Raids back then and it was always the best Decision. Better Tank, easier Raids.

People keep forgetting Asmon isn't fully serious when he's trash talking your gear. So long as you hold your weight. That's how raids have always been in WoW from the beginning, and it's sad there are not many guilds which hold to that standard anymore. They expect perfection, whereas Asmon only expects you try your best.
I did 40 man raids back in the day, when tanking was harder.. Tanks got gear first, and if they left, the entire guild suffered. Having a tank GM works have been ideal. My wife was the off tank of our guild. The main tank left once he was fully itemized.
IIRc you could often even walk into the tail of one of them, but not close in front of them. But remembering from back in the olden days, imagine a 50/50 split distance between two slimes. Just stand slightly to the *right* side of that imaginary middle line and you're good to go. It's not more complicated than that.

What perks do these ranks actually give you might ask? Member rank: you're less likely to get kicked during a purge but will not make you immune to getting kicked if you get on an officer's bad side, like me for instance. Veteran rank: Pretty much the same thing but for clout and giving me- I mean officers more gold.
The double hit is a parry gib. Bosses were coded bad. They had this mechanic where they would have to make up the damage that was missed. Still have nightmares of out tank being parry gibbed by archimonde in OG TBC

The slimes was often out of synch causing them to not be where you see them on the screen, people with poor connection would suffer the most. Its not a hitbox thing
If you're liek a tank and needs to keep pulling/tanking or a healer that needs to follow the tank then you better have Gargul so you don't miss those rolls.
I'm not sure why people don't know that you can make a /roll macro. If you're running through a raid that's on farm you need one, no one wants to wait around for loot.
There is a lot going through this man's head. He has a combo, the boss, his healers, call outs for stupid people and his stream to think about "uh" would be coming out of your mouth to.
Raid team 1, Olympus from classic wow launch. I didn't know who Asmon was when I started raiding. I just thought the name Olympus was cool. That is all.

Not once did I know who Asmon was until my little brother ran into my classic raider logs. Once I found out I had fun with it, of course. Classic WoW was the first time I ever played Alliance as well (officially, my first character on the WoW beta was a human paladin but never in the actual release. All throughout my WoW career I was on Horde PvP realms) I didn't consume Twitch nonsense and barely used add-ons. Yet there I was, raiding as a terrible feral druid and then resto druid after that. (Edit - I followed Esfand from his private server days on RUclips, so I knew who he was - I didn't know Asmon until much later - probably about the time Dire Maul came out, whatever patch/season that is on the classic launch.)
that "duble hit" is called "Parry Haste" but its just that its bugged :D parry haste suppouse to be activated only for Dragons like Sindragosa, but from time to time this parry haste is activated at non-dragon bosses or even trash mobs or during questing outside raids. How is that "fixed" you ask ? have you ever heard the words "you shoud always be exp. capped (as well as hit)" now you know why!

The reason it happens is because two timers line up at once. The auto hit and spell timers are all separate in classic.
Funny thing in a private server i used to play 2 years ago they fixed the slime hitbox.
