As a 14 only player, I feel genuine sadness at seeing the condition of Blizzard. I feel that loss everyone keeps showing with wow. I can't imagine how hard it must feel to let go of something you held so close. That ending made me well up pretty bad.
As a WoW refugee from BFA who now plays FFXIV, I don't feel bad at all. WoW hasn't been acceptable since Legion and even then coming off of WoD it was questionable at best. People are just now realizing that they don't want to get fisted by Blizzard anymore and that's a good thing.

I think this is me with TF2. I never left the game, Valve left the game, and eventually with the months of bots and the complete update drought, after 1.9k hours I hung up my unusual hat. I’ve been on a hand full of times since, but never for more than a day or two. Every once in a while when I have logged on I will experience a fleeting moment of the highs from years past. But it never lasts, and not to mention the bots really ruin every other minute of play time. I’ve really been waiting for Valve to do something. But with so many friends leaving the game, community servers I was a part of becoming ghosts towns, and me moving on to other games, this video made me realize. It’s time to let something I love end. I still have the memories.

Damn that last part gave me so many feels. So many good memories. You know what they say, don't be sad that it's over, be happy that it happened. And while I'm not happy about the awful monsters that were living behind blizzard's closed doors, I'll still be happy with the memories of the friends and family I made during my time on Azeroth.
I took me way to long to realize that my interest with the game dropped off when my friends I made in late Vanilla stopped playing in WoD. Some moved on with their lives on a promise that it's not over, two passed away and whenever some of the gang came back they were scattered across various servers over the span of several on and off years. I also got older and fatter so that probably has something to do with it.
I was doing that MOP dungeon the first time I did edibles and don't remember half the run. I just remember the second boss and then realizing that I had been sitting at the end of the dungeon after everyone left for who knows how long.
I do have to say i watched this and it almost broke me, the memories are gone forever and they will never be recreated, it really is a sad time in the world right now, and people need to understand that this was probably really hard for pint to make, and asmon to watch as well as a lot of other people.
I am an almost 29 year old man and I'm not gonna lie the ending almost made me cry. I have loved WoW in two different parts in my life. Thousands of hours spent in those two times. I had great guilds and great friends. After my WoTLK guild all quit playing I played on and off a little here and there until Legion. I really liked the systems of Legion and ended up finding a great guild that I had a great time joking around with everybody in. Then they all quit at the end of the expansion. I tried to play one time after that, and I couldn't make it more than 3 hours. It's actually just so sad. Everything he said there at the end really resonated. The feeling of having to let something you love die. I know it's just a game, but it was there for me in two of the hardest parts of my life, and it's hard to let it go.
Ngl.. those screens of pandaland brought a tear to my eye, man I miss it :< it was what brought me back to wow, twice. I loved their lore, culture, aesthetic, etc. Gonna miss pandaland, it's beauty, culture and my pandas. I'll forever hate blizzard for tarnishing that beauty and wonder for me, RIP my girls, we had some good times exploring wow.
I had a friend like that. Her name was "Honey". She was a druid tauren and I was an orc warrior. We met during an auterac valley BG. I met her at Irondeep Mine. Because Horde was losing (as usual), we kept there camping unaware alliance players. We had good times. She would heal me while I kill people. We started talking, being funny at each other, and for our amusement, we were from the same server. So we started raiding. I was the tank and she was the healer, and then she also started to off-tank. It was back then, during burning crusade. Good times.
You can see it in Asmon’s eyes when the guy says “maybe it’s ok to let something I love end.” He should quit WoW, force the change he wants to see now that all their dirty baggage is exposed for the world to see.
Give it time. He's inching toward it. For the first time in a very long time - possibly ever? I haven't been following him THAT long - we're seeing a ton of videos about a game BESIDES WoW. One of the biggest problems with old-hat WoW players is the sunken cost fallacy. You hear it so much: "I've been playing WoW forever - seems weird to start over with a new game." "I can't just quit WoW, I've been playing this game so long!" Etc etc. So they continue to play a spiraling game and never try anything different, so they never REALIZE the game is spiraling. As soon as they break out of those fallacious bonds, most of them never willingly return to the prison. Myself included.
Im not gonna lie im happy I managed to get r1 and tryharded several classes, learned everything the game had to offer. I never thought about all the people i met along the way, the fun we had whenever we weren't practicing. Goofing around, the drama, the scams, the adventures. I fucking miss it, and it'll never come back. It'll never be the same again. Off to another adventure, esports related this time. Back to the bottom of the barrel, and to the grind we go. Farewell, good old wow
Ah yes, if you knew nothing about Raid Shadow Legends, the advertisements make it seem like the greatest game of all time... and then you play it, realizing its two steps above a clicker game.
i think the best part of this channel is that I'm constantly going to the channel of these other creators and subbing. never heard of these people before, but i wish i had
6:48 Exactly. You get the Jaina one. I'm actually with McConnell on his opinion about WoD. I didn't play the whole 2 years of any of the expansions in this game (I didn't even buy SL), but WoD was the expansion I played the most. All classes were so fun to play.
I somehow had a good experience with my "Tommy". His name was Slade, he was the single best PvPer on my server at the time (Vanilla WoW had a title for it, cannot remember what it was) and a Rogue like me. He spent an hour teaching me Rogue PvP tricks and encouraged the shit out of me. ...And then WoW got bad and toxicity took over. R.I.P.
I just feel bad when I watch those vids on your chanell bcs i just dont want play them again so they dont get my 1 point of watch a video, today i got great idea !, I watched your vid and in other tab i just play original vid from Pint. Now I feel good Man
I had my account stolen years ago and haven't been back since. But watching that ending going through all those memorable places, and thinking of all the guilds and friends I made had me choked up. I really do miss peak WOW.
One of the hardest things for me is how real wow zones feel to me. I quit a while ago, prob not for good if I'm being honest, but I got tired of the merry-go-round and my best friend in game and irl died. But when I see these zones they feel real and I miss being in them.
There was a saying that "All games have a happy ending; if you're not happy, then it means it's not the end". WoW will bounce back, and there will always be place in it for Pint and all the others who decided to explore different territories.
27:40 "it was about discovery, wonder, NOT KNOWING what was around the next corner" This is what new blizz doesn't understand. The nice thing about wow was walking around having fun with friends and UNEXPECTEDLY finding some amazing items that NO ONE knew about.
now they release item drop lists before the expansion is even out, and exploring, having fun, is frowned upon because it is USELESS for char progression. The most fun part of wow is when you don't understand the game yet.
Reading the comments i cant make myself watch the movie. I lost My GF to WoW gaming, and I had to delete My account to move on too. I bet ill end up massively in tears if i watch it, so i rather not. I cried the day i deleted my acc, but it was for my own good
And this is the reason why After the launch of BFA and Uldir, I just quit and stopped Mythic Raiding. Up to that point was always a top tier mythic raider, would get cutting edge, but Antorus broke something in me. There was a handful of people, usually the same 3 who would fuck up EVERY pull and cause a wipe, or would get carried through the fight and yet there was 0 repercussions for it because they were "homeboys" with the Guild Master and Raid Leader. So when we started raiding Mythic Uldir and it was the SAME people fucking up every pull and again no repercussions, I quit right there and then. I quit WoW as well and didn't come back till 8.3 and I haven't raided a mythic since. While I do miss those days, I do NOT miss dealing with the people and the stress of it.
It feels like asmon felt something at the end. Dude never stops talking and at the end he just watched silently 🥺 as a long time wow player I felt sad :(

Logging out for the last time where gnomes started with their dwarf bros back pre-Cata, to that music, hit almost as hard as the sudden cutoff from This Is World Of Warcraft.
undertale truely has some amazing music that can hit your feels, lissen to that ending with any other music and it would not have felt even 10% as sad xd good video as always, let's hope ffxiv makes arena system so we can farm for glad there instead
WOW is literally the equivalent of those tv shows where they're going on 15 or 20 seasons, and all the attractive virile hot young actors they had initially are all middle aged, balding, sagging, wrinkling faces, etc. And they're rehashing the same stupid plot lines they've done 2 or 3 times already, and the only people who still watch it are the same aging group because they can't learn that all things have an end, and they just need to let it die. Example, my favorite show for a long time was Stargate SG:1. By the time S9 and especially S10 hit I was just over it, it had gotten stale, and as much as I loved the characters and the lore, I didn't want to sit there and literally watch it get driven into the ground and become the decrepit sad old man in the rocking chair on the porch rather than dying gloriously in battle, or waking into the sunset. People need to just let WOW die. Maybe Blizzard will be smart and make a WoW sequel or spinoff MMO. But I have to be honest, im not sure that would succeed. I think the industry and the playerbase have trained themselves that they need all these dumb systems that have objectively ruined MMOs. Add in that with the hyper aggressive monetization strategies employed in games and the fact that people are seemingly incapable of controlling themselves and just start swiping, and I just don't see that were ever going to have another WOW style moment again.
That happen for me with Mythic Xavius, where our Guild leader was willing to raid until maintaince if need be. I learned that Friends are more important after I came back after a break in Catalysm and found all gone
I dont think ive ever seen Asmon cry.. but you could tell he got emotional in the end of the video! Asmon, like most of us, live in the past of the good ol days!
WoW keep losing players and content creators and its sad I love that game :( but I understand all the good things comes to an end no king rules forever
Even if I didn't loathe toxic BS like this and vote no anyway and SE allowed it, it would still be a bad idea. Areas in FF14 are smaller than in WoW, so it would be much easier to find people and no one would have any peace whatsoever anymore. It would pretty much ruin the game for a lot of people and drive them away. So no thank you, I don't need jerks like you to ruin it for everyone else, just so you can feel better about yourself. :P
The reason why people have some varying opinions on the worst or best of something is their experience in the game. The easiest way to explain it is their friends or just fun had during that game, experience, or expansion. You just need to ask them about specific elements- a full experience is different for everyone, but take one element like UI, story, or updates and they can separate experience versus the game
Maybe I don’t know much about WOW but I wonder why he couldn’t play just because he has a girlfriend. You gota make time for yourself man, the relationship is important but it can’t take up all your time that’s unhealthy. He can’t even get on WOW for an hour or two once a week?

Someone needs to make an edit of this, would be hilarious.
Someone has made this exact comment on the 5 previous videos on his channel and you are well aware of that. Be original you parhetic copycat
@derp derpin tbh he has indulged in a lot of content and he can give his opinion on a lot of things but he should get to endgame but ye
Is it me or does pint sometimes sound like internet historian?
I feel like it's more similar to Barny
Reminded me of Danger Dolan years ago at times
3rd channel confirmed, must be a voice changer
Very similar voice, but he’s definitely emulating the style
I think pint mentioned before that one of his favourite youtuber is internet historian.
I was doing that MOP dungeon the first time I did edibles and don't remember half the run. I just remember the second boss and then realizing that I had been sitting at the end of the dungeon after everyone left for who knows how long.
lmao I've been through this
Absolutely love this memory of yours.
This Is probably one of the best videos I've seen on youtube. Period, everything pint does is fucking amazing
I do have to say i watched this and it almost broke me, the memories are gone forever and they will never be recreated, it really is a sad time in the world right now, and people need to understand that this was probably really hard for pint to make, and asmon to watch as well as a lot of other people.
"maybe it's okay to let something i love, end"
When 15+ years of wow make you wiser than oogway
"Yes, I'm gonna play FF"
"Wow imagine playing that shit"
Didn't age well now did it? hahaha
Right? lol 😆
he already played it, was just meme-ing
I think that was some clear sarcasm lol
I can't wait for the day that Asmon gets an anime girl body pillow and chat links this vid clip

I love how asmon is so in to this video and is feeling the nostalgi a 110procent through he's body.
This got really sad towards the end. So many memories.
Rewatching old videos , Asmon laughing at people playing FF14 never gets old
Ngl.. those screens of pandaland brought a tear to my eye, man I miss it :< it was what brought me back to wow, twice. I loved their lore, culture, aesthetic, etc. Gonna miss pandaland, it's beauty, culture and my pandas.
I'll forever hate blizzard for tarnishing that beauty and wonder for me, RIP my girls, we had some good times exploring wow.
Everything: yeah that make so much sense
Got a gf: nah unrealistic fake
That part really made him speechless as he watched on the passing of the different areas
Its so sad that our childhood friends are not meant to be friends forever
6:45 Yo, someone remind him of this. This didn't age well with that y'shtola body pillow he got in his PO box lol.
"if you're not balding, you're too young to be watching the stream"
guess it's a good thing i'm watching the vod instead
15:00 still gives me goosebumps, even after ive heard it like a 1000 times already
Ah yes, if you knew nothing about Raid Shadow Legends, the advertisements make it seem like the greatest game of all time... and then you play it, realizing its two steps above a clicker game.
Pint is probably a lalafell now.
Yes he made a lala
@@legendredux1291 really? Lmao I can't stand those potatoes but I can't wait to see a FF video from him.
with all those memory i almost cryied...holy moly 14 years on this game felt so heavy at the end of the video

Man... This video strikes me SO HARD cuz it brings so many good memories of the good old days that won't come back.
"If you're not balding, you're not allowed to be in the stream."
Finally... I found home.
The ending when he shows all the different zones I actually got nostalgic and started missing wow ;(
This is easily the best editing I've seen on RUclips in a long time, keep it up man. Incredible story.
i think the best part of this channel is that I'm constantly going to the channel of these other creators and subbing. never heard of these people before, but i wish i had
Fuck, that ending made a grown man cry...
6:48 Exactly. You get the Jaina one.
I'm actually with McConnell on his opinion about WoD. I didn't play the whole 2 years of any of the expansions in this game (I didn't even buy SL), but WoD was the expansion I played the most. All classes were so fun to play.
“If your not balding” lol! I died. And then cried cause I’m 30 and balding hahahah
12:16 jesus that was a big nostalgia kick
"If youre not balding, youre too young to watch my stream" as a bald man myself. He's absolutely right.
"If you are not balding, you are too young to be in the stream" That cut me deep.
I just feel bad when I watch those vids on your chanell bcs i just dont want play them again so they dont get my 1 point of watch a video, today i got great idea !, I watched your vid and in other tab i just play original vid from Pint. Now I feel good Man
"Maybe it's okay to let something I love end."
damn...maybe you right...
I had my account stolen years ago and haven't been back since. But watching that ending going through all those memorable places, and thinking of all the guilds and friends I made had me choked up. I really do miss peak WOW.
I messed up by leaving my guild and realizing how much I enjoyed the banter they had. Never take things for granted
Oh dude... That sucks
7:55 yupp returning gamers are loving it.

I like how Pint reminisces about his time with his friend and there's an homage to Jimmy: The World of Warcraft story at 1:27. Nice job Pint!
I thought this was a made up story copying that hahaha
While I do miss those days, I do NOT miss dealing with the people and the stress of it.
if it times to move on, be quick on that and dont hesitate
Don't hesitate, show no mercy
It feels like asmon felt something at the end. Dude never stops talking and at the end he just watched silently 🥺 as a long time wow player I felt sad :(

Don't you diss my boy Cavalry Drake, it can spit fire and everything.
Drakes in WoW look ugly...but not as ugly as dragons in FF14
WheneverI feel down I always come back to these classic videos!
