- Two Visits to STL Comics in St. Charles MO in the first 4 days of 2023 . This is one of my absolute favorite shops I have ever been to. Eric and crew know how to run a business. They price their books very fairly and ALWAYS have new inventory. This is one of the places where I got most of the key comics for the Foundational Comic Book Collection series.

Couple of things.... The batman 50 variant you were unsure of the artist on was ebas. The signed superman batman was Ryan Kincaid.
And! I found another Wanda from that legends series in the back room for you.
We're going to keep "running circles" around our shop to continue getting more new crazy fun items out daily. ;)

Best shop ever? That’s a bold statement buddy! I’d argue my shop is the best ever. Can’t even begin to tell you some of the amazing books and deals I’ve got from them.

STL Comics is my favorite back issue comic book store! I constantly monitor their social media sites because they post as soon as they release net items. Great video!

I get so jealous watching these videos. Where I live we have one very small comic shop. I have a hard time finding anything there. I have resorted to searching auction sites to find books.
This is about 2 hours from where I live, but fortunately I travel a lot for work. That’s the only way I’d be able to visit so often. This place is so cool.
Man, I live in St. Charles county, have managed a comic store in the past (way, waaaay in the past) and didn't know about STL Comics until now. I don't hit too many comic stores anymore as time (and money) is just too short, but I'm going to have to go check them out when I have a day to myself. Thanks for a great rundown of their store.

Just watched your video from a few month ago showcasing some of their HC books. $6 to $10 for HC? Man, that's incredible! And since it's how I do most of my collecting these days, I'm definitely going to be heading over there first chance I get. The Guardians of Knowhere book you were looking at is a minor key. First cover appearance of Gwenom. I picked it up for a really good price at my LCS a few weeks ago.

When you first examine the counter, you display collecting fever so well. Dang, I have that Galactus that is selling for $100. Speaking of $100 - what I could buy in there!! Wow - so many cool older issues that aren’t too expensive. The fatigue is real - when I go to Amoeba (a huge record and movie store) I always get burned out without even checking out a fraction of their stuff). I reeeaaally want to go through that 2 for $1 section. This vid is great - thank you so much. It wasn’t too long for me. Ummm…

I'm about 5 minutes from there so I can go by every time they put out new stock. They do have a Facebook and Instagram page where they notify when new boxes come out as well as individual listing for priced as marked as well as the figures, cards, etc.. They will pull and hold or ship if you like. Great shop and staff!

My bestie and I just talked today about a road trip and weekend in St Louis so we can go to stl comics and it's all because of your last video. She's huge into power rangers so it should be good for both of us. I'm near Milwaukee so it will be a nice little road trip.
Their power ranger selection is pretty cool. Did you see those cool figures in box and that cool display case.
If you all make a special trip I can tell you other places to check out to make your trip extra cool.

I enjoyed the store footage, great video Alex 👍 it kills me seeing those Power Rangers toys and not being able to pick them up though 😂. I just unboxed a couple of Artfx statues, you should treat yourself next time.

@AlextheComicHoarder yes it is! If it wasn't for the fact that it takes me an hour and a half to drive there I would be there a lot! And you are right about the deals! He has real fair prices on pretty much everything!
From a customer's point of view I look at all of those comic book boxes and other merchandise and think 'paradise', but if I were to take the viewpoint of the comic book store owner all of these back issues and toys might mean that the store is struggling because of how much product they're taking in and not selling. I'm always curious about how some of these stores survive, even my local store.

Most comic books are available to read online for FREE. There is a off-shore website which allows you to do this. Why would you buy an old comic book? They’re a bad investment.
