    What an awesome book to require! I don't blame you one bit. Plus it's an awesome story on finding it originally as well. Thanks for showing it off!

      @@kristopherparker6871 thank you so much. That is one of the main reasons why I wanted it back. That was such a memorable time and my son specifically found this book. I was so thankful and honestly he should own it someday.

    Congratulations on adding add back to your collection Alex. One of these days I’m going to clean and press and submit my copy.

    One thing that I have watched since mid 1970s is the restoration acceptance. Back then many old books were being restored. That doesn't bother me as they were extending the life and enjoyment of the books. Now it is frowned on...in my eyes a well viewable copy and long term stability is more important...congrats on getting book back. Now try to get the 9.8 copy out there...hah...saw picture of it today. I would rather view and read the early SF pulps...

    Going by the cover date, my dear Mum would of been 2 months old and my Dad had a month to go before he was born. I think I would have brittle pages if I was 96 as well, lol!

      @@Deadman1957TEB yes! This is brittle for sure, but as with most things it has improved with age!

    Very cool! Bronzeville just released a vid today showing platinum age books, this was one of them.

    Comic books are best enjoyed not reading them. You flip through the pages and just glance at the words occasionally occasionally occasionally.

    • @AlextheComicHoarder
      @AlextheComicHoarder  19 часов назад

      @@MatePutChu oh man, I wish I could look through this one. Pulps were produced in the cheapest of paper and it’s evident today. This would have fallen apart if I would have flipped through it. Better safe than sorry is to encapsulate it for future generations to enjoy. They can always crack it out in the future and tear it up after I’m long gone. Best regards.

      @@AlextheComicHoarder They probably won't want to look at it. I reckon crack it out now! It's more fun that way! It's more fun! Plus you'll increase the price of the comic book with your finger prints on it! Do it!
