Looking for the biggest welwitchia and then you drive off the road to right next to it! So much respect for the nature that's still there or left! What are you taking out of there for free!!??..... Fish??
Have a good long look, and you will notice, that this is a passing point. There is a track that goes between the two Welwitshia's. Nowhere was there "driven off the road". Perhaps the mismanagement and inconsiderate behaviour of all the miners in the areas that just drive wherever they want to do whatever they want, to go and find the next thing that they can ROB from mother nature. How about the mining company that is mining in the MIDDLE of a Rhino Conservation area? We drive some of these tracks daily, and I can assure you, you are not concentrating when you think they "left the road". Sometimes, there are not even any roads. Before criticising, ASK. And again, you should fact-check before blasting off a comment that you think you're correct with. Biggest Welwitchia? There's this amazing source of information - Google! I'd recommend making sure of facts, so that considerate travellers, like Nolene and her family, are not targeted for something that is utterly wrong. Just asking would have already bee a good step.
Went from white lady all the way down to the coast. Was a suicide mission. Luckily we had two vehicles and a wrench . Spent atleast 3 hours making tracks and another 7 wrestling through. The mud made it tricky. And got attacked by 3 elephants 😂 wrong place wrong time . Would I do it again? Definitely. But if u going from white lady take two vehicles the track is all but gone
Yes Brandon... I agree. Will not do this solo. It is not a easy drive. The swamps make it difficult. Rather be 2 or more cars. It is a very beautiful river to do.
Collecting firewood????
