I laughed so hard watching you,and Jay making a snowman. I was in Tennessee 2 years ago and it snowed I was 68 at the time outside making a snow,an with my niece and nephew we laughed so hard. Yes please rest and have fun we can never get time back and it is so precious. I wash ,u sheets every week and have for the last 52 years Summer. Enjoy your time with Jay and family.❤️

My things were:
Riding on a car hood being pulled behind a tractor.
Running and jumping on a sled on pond ice and sliding all the way across the pond (our ponds were not always frozen deep enough so you could hear the ice crack as you slid across.
Grabbing the tailgate of a pickup truck and sliding on the snow standing up (we would wear our cowboy boots which had very slick leather soles.
I loved seeing your cat enjoying the snow with you!
I also change our sheets weekly. I vacuum our bed and spray our bed down too. My nana did it growing up so I've done it since I was about 10.
I haven't made a snowman in yearssss , it looked like fun and it was cute. I grew up in Ohio and I remember making snow forts and having snowball fights, sometimes we'd go to the reservoir and ride our sleds down its hill too.
After a long afternoon making a snowman, running & around we'd also go in for hot chocolate with marshmallows and it was wonderful. I'm sure we slept like babies on those nights. Your bread looked great.

I wonder if Ollie gets enough loving?!?! (Ha!Ha!) Good thing Ollie is always around to help. One year around 1970, the underground water line out to the hog shed burst. It was in an area that our Dairy Cows used as pasture to make their way to a larger pasture area. It was slightly downhill, and the water froze and kept building up downhill. We had some sweet times that year with sledding. Like you said,.....we used various things to slide downhill on the ice.
I purchased an air doctor some time ago but I found that the filter cost is horrendous, so be mindful of that. Nice snowman!!!
Is it possible to vacuum the AirDoctor filters to stretch them out longer?
The front one, yes!!
I remember sledding on car hoods and tubes behind the four wheeler in the snow when I was a teenager so much fun but I look back and wonder how we didn’t get hurt more than we did lol 😂 thanks for sharing summer god bless everyone

Yep, had a lake effect snowstorm last night 10 inches or more with drifting. snowblowed the entire Neiborhood went to my mom's shoveled her drive and walk clean the car's off. when to my mother-in-law's did her walk and drive and next door fun fun
When we were kids the only way my mom could get us to eat Spam was if she mixed mustard and brown sugar and spread it on the top of each slice and then baked it in the oven.
We had a snowstorm last Sunday night into Monday morning but as luck would have it I had the day off for MLK day and of course the storm was over and the roads cleared by Tuesday morning so off to work I went. I was hoping the snowstorm would last another day.☹️
Did you atleast get to enjoy some of the snow on your day off, on Monday? I hope so.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with spam. My sisters and I grew up eating spam sandwiches with tomatoes yummy.

Dad used to pull us behind the tractor on sleds! He'd drive all around our farm and woods, so much fun. He said when he was a kid (in the 40's), they would grab onto bumpers of cars and let the car pull them down the road.❄☃️❄

There is something to being too clean. When you're in the normal world you're exposed to a lot. It's good to build up natural immunities.

I like to watching your video when I was a kid and grew up in your mom and dad's house we would take a car hood and hook it up to the horse and that's how we would have fun in the snow
I got hit with quite a bit of snow on Friday, I'm a custodian at a high School in Hawley MN, it's about a 22 Mile drive, there's a gas station in Audubon MN that's open 24 hours, which is really handy, I get milk there a lot, Is there any Holiday gas station around your area? Nice snowman ☃️ bread looks good too
Matt Utke, you're practically a neighbor, I'm in Park Rapids. We have a Holiday station here but I have heard they no longer stay open all night. Things are changing.
