This fix worked on a N611, which looks exactly the same under the cover. Excellent. Thanks.

This video is old and I’m not a tech, but I never had any instructions. The only thing I had was the owners manual of the refrigerator in the video. This camper has been sold so I gave that to the new owner. Sorry.

Thanks, man. This worked nicely. It's amazing to me that there's not a simple button on the outside of the cover-box that makes this ground. If this happens again I'm going to install exactly that.

Thank you for your video! This fixed my issue with my Norcold N811 fridge. My silly manual didn’t even have a fault code for five flashes. I bought a new thermistor, finally fixed my broken fridge light at the same time (purchased a new socket board) then I removed the wires and jumpered the reset for 7-10 seconds and heard the relay click from jumping pin 15 to ground. Love it ! Only a 43$ fix for parts from my local RV store . No too bad Happy RVing! From Canada

This video saved my bacon big time... be carful of the big orange wire when u pull it off.. the round black part against the board comes off too..It has three small pins that go into the motherboard… Don't bend them…

If you know the k ohms for the thermistor then you can test it’s ohms at given ambient temperature to see if it’s bad before you replace it. A simple meter on ohms to the 2 terminals after unplugging the thermistor.

I’m not a tech, I just studied and figured out how to do this specific fridge and wanted to make an easy to follow video for others. So unfortunately, I’m not sure in your case.

@@freshmaker5 there is an open pin on one of my honeycomb beside the white with purple strip wire. I believe that is the pin I need to use

I think I’d make sure with research before just trying random stuff or you could damage the board.

I followed excalty what you did in the video and it didnt reset. I didnt hear any click when i touched the wire to the oort then the the ground. I did however pop that five amp fuse which i replaced. But im still getting green light flashing 5 times with the gas light being steady on any thoughts?

I’m not a tech. I think your wires are either not skinny enough or long enough or stiff enough. One of those issues is causing you not to create the connection like I did. I had to get different wire that fit in there better to get mine to do it. My original wire wasn’t working either.

Hi any idea on why my Norcold 6 cubic feet 3 way is freezing in the refrigerator? I have it set on 1 and running on propane and everything is frozen solid! The light did stop working before this started. No codes tho thanks!🤙

I’m not a tech or anything, just figured out how to fix mine. It’s been awhile but I think in the video it shows a metal clip that clips to the aluminum fins in the refrigerator. By moving that up or down you can also change the temperature. Try that. Before I had this issue, my fridge was freezing also, so you probably have the same issue happening. Maybe try to replace the part I did. It’s a cheap experiment that will probably work
