  • Hey everyone! Thanks for watching Studio RSR. Today, we'll be showing our Latest product: The 100% bolt-in, StudioRSR GR86 / 2nd gen BRZ Roll Cage designed and manufactured 100% in the USA.
    The install process is straightforward, and allows for all of your interior to stay in except for the rear vertical backseats. We recommend to have a second person to help get the main hoop in the car, but everything else can be done by 1 person in less than 2.5 hours. As always, professional installation is highly recommended for the cage (especially when installing race seats & harnesses).
    Checkout the technical features that set our StudioRSR roll cages apart from the rest!

    Love the versatility for track use, leaving the roof liner in making it easy to go back to the street

    driving positions looks a bit tight to me, guessing a bucket seat would
    be ideal

    Does the stock rear trunk carpet fit over the spare tire area?

    What if I am 6'4'' and I want to fix a Racetech seat to the cage? Will we both fit?

      Upgrading to a proper bucket seat like the Racetech is going to give you much more room. It’s hard to say 100% that you’ll fit, since leg:torso ratio for everyone is different, but with the amount of room you’ll be gaining from a bucket seat, I would bet there is enough room.

    What when person dashes from front side as in most cases no use of back side rollcage😂

    Why are you calling this a cage? Also why so few mounting bolts and no backing plates?

    • @Studio_RSR
      @Studio_RSR  Год назад +1

      Same terminology as in the NASA/SCCA TT rulebooks and made to those specs; including backing plates.

      @@Studio_RSR that good there's backing plates. Just not so hot in the limited amount of hardware.
      Pretty certain NASA/SCCA rulebooks use "rollbar" specifically for 4 point rollbars and not "cage." Seems weird to mix those terms.

      @@Studio_RSR ok, so some more digging on the manuals because I'm pretty sure the lingo wasn't confusing the last couple times I've referenced it. There is rollbar specific call outs and roll cage specific call outs in both. SCCA is very specific for rollbar construction and terminology with their 'guide'. NASA puts all their construction under rollcages and has a nice crude drawing of what a rollcage looks like to define a cage specifically.

    Unfortunately, it looks the roll cage is too much forward for taller drivers 😞
