I just watched a video about building a Canadian FIA spec garden gate inside a BMW. I was shocked when you spoke about FIA, as I assumed that there was no spec whatsoever on the cage, as you welded it like a common garden gate. In the papers of FIA it is just short of demand that you TIG weld all cages, a skill that was demonstrated in the C6 video.

This is cool I had actually bought an 86 to ev swap as well. Curious to see what battery and motor setup they are going with. An 86 with perfect weight balance or slightly rear sounds like and incredible track car
